Scout is least powerful of all three but the player makes them great. Hunter outshines both other archers imo. I play scout because I am Alb for life and the challenges here against scout are deep. Scout needs spear for one again like live in order to even compete....again imo. However there are some very dumb players on eden. Again the player can make the scout great but you still need higher RR first. Hunter has huge damage vs scout, a pet that does pretty good damage, and ranger has DW. Here the bow damage is the same for all archers no matter what you spec its the same if you go 50 bow for all three. Scouts at least used to have the best damage. So just that alone makes them terrible....but still I roll one in RVR as my main. What can I say I am a glutton for punishment lol
@@DakkhonBlackBlade I'm alb for life too. Got a ton of Loyalty now. I have fought a few hunters and had no chance. What RR do things start turning around. I've fought a few tanks too and it's impossible to even hurt them. But I always get away
@@zabik99 I am RR5L5 atm and its still tough. I do not even engage any tanks period because you cannot damage them enough to kill them in time for anything unless they are terrible players. If I am solo I usually target casters only then healers. Even the damage on stealthers is pure crap but if you play your cards right and spot them first you can win. Kiting is the ultimate key here. Unlike on phoenix and celest you could actually hold your own against most targets save tanks. I would say once you get RR6+ then you can get purge 3, MoS8-9 and some FE or IP even. That being said you can do a lot in a BG or a group. Disrupting casters and healers are key and you have the tools to do it well. Make use of RF on then and you can hold down 2-3 if positioned right all day. That alone is worth your weight in gold imo. Then the finisher shots in zerg fighting is great. Position yourself right and take them suckers out from range unmolested and the RP's roll in. You will get targeted pretty quick if you piss off a few healers and or casters like in hib. They are always cc and caster heavy. Hold down even 2 casters and they will send a fg to you immediately. I am not joking. They will also send a cc'er to get you. I have seen them send a bard or whatever of the amount of classes they have that can CC...lots and focus heal that person just to stop you in the back field. So do this and you can show folks your class is good and needed. That is the hardest part lol. Most will never group you unless you are the last one without a group and then maybe. The class is still fun because it's a challenge for me so i stick with it. It's just a shitty class here on eden and the devs dont care. The hunter is the one you want if you want to hit for 300 a swing with a 2H or a spear, pet that hits for about 150+ depending on spec and bow shots that still hurt. Hope that helps a little.
