Exactly, like Nick Spencer needs to come back and retcon this entire stupid ass storyline and turn this entire run into a weird illusion that Peter and Mj are trapped in as well as make Paul and his ugly ass kids be part of the illusion and reveal that they aren’t actually real. And then as part of the retcons, it is also revealed that the mysterious glowing figure from the end of the beyond storyline kidnapped Peter and Mj, brainwashed them, and created this weird illusion that is Zeb Wells’s entire storyline that he trapped Peter and Mj in who then later wake up and find a way to escape the illusion.

Wells’ FF writing also makes zero sense if you’ve read the FF book at the time because; 1) The Baxter Building shouldnt even be there because it was teleported 1 year to the future to save their kids and innocents during an alien incursion. (A scenario that makes MUCH more sense and has better weight than a time dilated dimension). They even had the foresight of "Hey, we're the Fantastic Four. Couldn't we just time travel and meet them in the middle?" and explain it that worse case scenario, they gotta wait the long way to see their kids again. 2) The FF are on a road trip of some kind away from everyone, hence Johnny’s mustache. And yet BOTH events happened at the same time in ASM… Just go read Ryan North’s FF run. Issue 700 came out and Doom stole the show as always lol

If Marvel wanted to do this story well they easily could've changed it that Peter got his hands on a reality warp macguffin of some kind. Peter and MJ get thrown into an alternate Earth destroyed by some calamity and instead of Paul they find an much younger alternate Peter. Our Peter loses his powers from the warp but now him and MJ remember pre OMD and know that Mephisto will change things back the moment they go back. They decide to send the younger Peter back but with Peter transferring some of his memories and aging him slightly. Peter and MJ stay behind and alter time so Peter can master the macguffin to defeat Mephisto by the time the alternate Peter can open the portal home. That would've been a smarter reason for everyone to be estranged from Peter because that version is immature and his memories are incomplete, hence working with Norman.
This sounds infinitely better than what they came up with, honestly idk why they didnt let Spencer undo OMD anyway in his run and just made him have to come up with random shit that made his run a bit of a mess in the end.

As someone who loved the Ms. Marvel comics when I was younger, this fucking hurts me. Especially since they didn’t even give Kamala’s death any sort of meaning! No significance, no purpose, just shock value. And the cover of this comic pisses me off too, with them putting Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel on the cover(bear in mind these VERY important superhero mentors in Kamala’s life!) and they weren’t there at all!
Honestly it feels like they're Insulting us readers by just throwing anything into Marvel comics and just hoping we'll accept it and go on reading. It doesn't feel like they're thinking too hard on how these ideas will be received positively or negatively. Do they really think we enjoy seeing characters die or struggle with their home life? Well sometimes but not all the times and there's a limit to how much we want to see.
Marvel has a history of changing a character or even killing them when there´s a movie. At the peak of the MCU wave, they killed Iron Man and replaced him with Riri Williams. they aged Captain America, replaced him with Bucky who got killed and later and was replaced by Sam Wilson. Hawkeye? now it´s Kate bishop. Hulk? Amaddeus Cho. Thor? Jane Foster. So yeah, this isn´t new for them.
They are killing her off to both relaunch her book before The Marvels comes out. As well as probably saving her with the Mutant stuff so she comes back as mutant instead of a Inhuman. In the MCU Ms.Marvel was for some reason the first mutant so yea.

great news actually we got a new ultimate Spider-Man series by Jonathan Hickman an even cooler we have a married Peter parker and mary jane who also have both kids Mayday Parker and Benjy parker in this new universe which is really awesome and amazing in my opinion.
Spider man is among my top 4 favorite superheroes,, that being Spidey, Cap America, Hulk and Batman. I haven't really been interested in reading a Spider comic since the whole "Back in Black" story line which was stupid in several ways, jot the least day f which being Peter keeping a black suit around knowing who and what it represents, and that the symbiote pretended to he one has f his suits before...whatever, the quality of rigging Spider Jas been bad for a while. His quips have been lame. It's not like it was in the 60s and 70s (before my time) or the 80s-90s. But then the same can be said of a lot of the comics within the past 25 years.

Honestly I think the line that sums up best why this thing was so fucked up and stupid is, after Kamala Khan dies, MJ asks "Who was she?" And that really just fucking sums it up. She showed up basically for one issue of a run of a character she had no connection to die. What pisses me off is - everyone knows they're doing this to make her a mutant and she's not staying dead for long (official info suggests TWO MONTHS AT MOST.) So they do this whole fanfare of killing her off in this stupid pointless way and running all these "Death of Ms Marvel" stories and all that shit - but none of it is ABOUT HER. None of it is meaningful TO HER CHARACTER. If they had killed her off like this and been like "Kamala Khan is dead! BUT WAIT -" and immediately went into the "No she's not she's a mutant" reveal, that wouldn't feel so gross... because then they would actually be focusing on her new status quo and talking about her character and such. The emphasis would be on HER, and the 'Death' really... would still be dumb, but it would be more of a stepping stone than a roadblock. It wouldn't matter but it would INTENTIONALLY not matter. This whole thing is fucking stupid, this run has been PARTICULARLY bad for Spidey, and the best advice I've gotten is basically - if you're pissed off, tweet at or email Marvel WHY you are pissed off in a constructive way, and simply do not buy anything with Zeb Wells' name on it. DO NOT send death threats or harassment because they will simply ignore it and use it to write off all legitimate criticism. Believe me - Ms Marvel is probably my favourite Marvel Hero and Zeb Wells has been on twitter being a massive dick about the backlash of her death, I GET wanting to lash out when people are being overtly shitty. But it gives Marvel an excuse to ignore all criticism going forward and doesn't solve anything. And I mean shit. So here’s why they are killing off Ms. Marvel, it’s to give her a brand push and most likely fix her classification to match the MCU. In the MCU for some reason they made her the first mutant so it’s pretty clear that they are going to bring her back to life using the mutant technology that’s happening in arguably a even worse set of books than Spider-Man somehow lol. So they will bring her back and she will be a mutant, not a Inhuman to match the MCU. Second why she’s being killed off in ASM and not her own book or even Miles Morales book…Well while this ASM run as been absolutely terrible, it’s sadly one of the best selling books in all of comic books right now even beating Batman. Don’t ask me how considering even Batman hasn’t been as trash as this but people are still buying this book. So it makes sense to help not only a relaunch later this year but always help push her brand recognition for the movie if she’s in the most popular book. Marvel doesn’t care about making it make sense, also please don’t make it a race thing that’s really stupid, if you know comic books you know how many white guys have died and you also know it literally means nothing in comics.
I don't thinkk people would have a problem with this if she was actually an important character in the book, but she isn't. If you wanted to improve brand recognition among Peter Parker, then making her an actually important character in the run would have been the way to do it. Fridging her like this doesn't really improve her appeal since Peter Parker readers of this book have no good reason to be particularly attached to her.

So it's basically how writers justify the fights between heroes and civil wars in comics nowadays.
Wells’ FF writing also makes zero sense if you’ve read the FF book at the time because;
1) The Baxter Building shouldnt even be there because it was teleported 1 year to the future to save their kids and innocents during an alien incursion. (A scenario that makes MUCH more sense and has better weight than a time dilated dimension). They even had the foresight of "Hey, we're the Fantastic Four. Couldn't we just time travel and meet them in the middle?" and explain it that worse case scenario, they gotta wait the long way to see their kids again.
2) The FF are on a road trip of some kind away from everyone, hence Johnny’s mustache. And yet BOTH events happened at the same time in ASM…
Just go read Ryan North’s FF run. Issue 700 came out and Doom stole the show as always lol

It's because they don't want to change the status quo in the comics they'll keep resetting Pete to being a loser who never gets girl ever it only ever happens in else world stories because they don't want to stop profiting off him. They change writers like when ever a run is finished or something and then reset it again. It all depends on who's your favorite writer for it.

It feels weird that every other media (video games, movies, shows, ect) treat the character way better than the comics he came from.
If Marvel wanted to do this story well they easily could've changed it that Peter got his hands on a reality warp macguffin of some kind. Peter and MJ get thrown into an alternate Earth destroyed by some calamity and instead of Paul they find an much younger alternate Peter. Our Peter loses his powers from the warp but now him and MJ remember pre OMD and know that Mephisto will change things back the moment they go back. They decide to send the younger Peter back but with Peter transferring some of his memories and aging him slightly. Peter and MJ stay behind and alter time so Peter can master the macguffin to defeat Mephisto by the time the alternate Peter can open the portal home. That would've been a smarter reason for everyone to be estranged from Peter because that version is immature and his memories are incomplete, hence working with Norman.
This sounds infinitely better than what they came up with, honestly idk why they didnt let Spencer undo OMD anyway in his run and just made him have to come up with random shit that made his run a bit of a mess in the end.
They should make him a dad being a dad is more relatable than being a struggling adult I mean look at the mandolorian he has baby Yoda is the best thing ever than this

As someone who loved the Ms. Marvel comics when I was younger, this fucking hurts me. Especially since they didn’t even give Kamala’s death any sort of meaning! No significance, no purpose, just shock value. And the cover of this comic pisses me off too, with them putting Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel on the cover(bear in mind these VERY important superhero mentors in Kamala’s life!) and they weren’t there at all!

Honestly it feels like they're Insulting us readers by just throwing anything into Marvel comics and just hoping we'll accept it and go on reading. Though consuming something you hate and stuff like that just feels interesting to think about cause it reminds me of how only mediocre content really loses since no one really talks about them. Spider man is among my top 4 favorite superheroes,, that being Spidey, Cap America, Hulk and Batman. I haven't really been interested in reading a Spider comic since the whole "Back in Black" story line which was stupid in several ways, jot the least day f which being Peter keeping a black suit around knowing who and what it represents, and that the symbiote pretended to he one has f his suits before...whatever, the quality of rigging Spider Jas been bad for a while. His quips have been lame. It's not like it was in the 60s and 70s (before my time) or the 80s-90s. But then the same can be said of a lot of the comics within the past 25 years.
It is amazing to me that marvel have not killed mj off permanently as they seem to so much hatred for Peter and her being Together.

Honestly I think the line that sums up best why this thing was so fucked up and stupid is, after Kamala Khan dies, MJ asks "Who was she?" And that really just fucking sums it up. She showed up basically for one issue of a run of a character she had no connection to die.
What pisses me off is - everyone knows they're doing this to make her a mutant and she's not staying dead for long (official info suggests TWO MONTHS AT MOST.) So they do this whole fanfare of killing her off in this stupid pointless way and running all these "Death of Ms Marvel" stories and all that shit - but none of it is ABOUT HER. None of it is meaningful TO HER CHARACTER. If they had killed her off like this and been like "Kamala Khan is dead! BUT WAIT -" and immediately went into the "No she's not she's a mutant" reveal, that wouldn't feel so gross... because then they would actually be focusing on her new status quo and talking about her character and such. The emphasis would be on HER, and the 'Death' really... would still be dumb, but it would be more of a stepping stone than a roadblock. It wouldn't matter but it would INTENTIONALLY not matter.
This whole thing is fucking stupid, this run has been PARTICULARLY bad for Spidey, and the best advice I've gotten is basically - if you're pissed off, tweet at or email Marvel WHY you are pissed off in a constructive way, and simply do not buy anything with Zeb Wells' name on it. DO NOT send death threats or harassment because they will simply ignore it and use it to write off all legitimate criticism. Believe me - Ms Marvel is probably my favourite Marvel Hero and Zeb Wells has been on twitter being a massive dick about the backlash of her death, I GET wanting to lash out when people are being overtly shitty. But it gives Marvel an excuse to ignore all criticism going forward and doesn't solve anything.
And I mean shit. Maybe it won't fix anything, but voting with your wallet is really the only thing that can be done in this circumstance. Marvel has been fucking Spider-Man pretty hard since One More Day, but there's a reason THIS RUN has sparked about a million video essays on "How Marvel Ruined Spider-Man" and "The State of Spider-Man comics" and such.
Yeah, she has no connection to the characters around her as she dies here. There isn't any build up or pay off to this happening, it just happens as a cheap shock value death. And its made worse by the fact that Ms Marvel's life in this instance is treated very much as secondary in importance to MJ's. The shock reveal of being the person who actually died and literally no one caring is as hollow as it gets. Its just a terrible disservice to the character.

So here’s why they are killing off Ms. Marvel, it’s to give her a brand push and most likely fix her classification to match the MCU. So it makes sense to help not only a relaunch later this year but always help push her brand recognition for the movie if she’s in the most popular book. Marvel doesn’t care about making it make sense, also please don’t make it a race thing that’s really stupid, if you know comic books you know how many white guys have died and you also know it literally means nothing in comics.

I don't thinkk people would have a problem with this if she was actually an important character in the book, but she isn't. If you wanted to improve brand recognition among Peter Parker, then making her an actually important character in the run would have been the way to do it.
Fridging her like this doesn't really improve her appeal since Peter Parker readers of this book have no good reason to be particularly attached to her.
I have theory the writer and artist are bored from working on spider Man so they come up with a plan to destroying it for good so it sells go down and nobody will ever want to buy or even read it ever again
