So the entire time that the entire Fontaine cast was going back and forth bickering with one another and trying to prevent the prophecy, Childe was literally holding back this creature all on his own? Deym bro that creature is probably stronger than the Archons, that's very impressive for childe

Compare to other gacha games like arknights and reverse 1999, genshin isn’t as dark, or should I say genshin takes a longer while to get serious (things started to get rough at Inazuma), and even so, the overall tone is still pretty much more cheeful than other games where the world has been in the state of misery from the start
It is true that the term “family friendly” is used by me in a sarcastic way, but it wouldn’t be too farfetch. If I show Genshin to my primary school brother, it wouldn’t be a surprise for him since he’s been exposed to stuff like fnaf like many younger children nowadays

That is without taking into consideration the fact that time passes differently there. The last time Childe fell into the Abyss he trained for 3 months there but only 3 days had passed in the surface.

His transformation started to fall apart as if reaching its limit, it's a nice touch to tell us that the new limit was a full month.
From his legendary mission to Fontaine he did improve a lot
Facts, he's constantly getting stronger. I'd even go as far a to say he's stronger than alot of the Harbingers above him at this point. I think the only reason why his position hasn't moved up is because of his competence
If the place where he fought was abyss, it's actually more than 45 months (if he fought nonstop) because one day in teyvat is one month in abyss

The bit when Neuvilette teleports down to when the shield breaks is even the same tune as the part of Childe's Foul Legacy phase theme that preceeds when the fatui motif jumps in with the crazy synth. Love this track bro
just a testament for how ridiculously powerful ajax is. The narwhal easily broke the hydro dragon sovereigns shield (even tho neuv doesn't have his full dragon authority here) and ajax was in a 1v1 with this thing for possibly days.

Neither did any of the others, like Neuvilette who even “claimed” to want to deliver proper Justice to Childe, but even after he figured out that Childe was innocent, he just didn’t care. Childe ist probably the hero in Genshin who got by far the least praise for his deeds.

I love the reveal that the leitmotif in childe's boss fight was actually the narwhal's theme. I also love the fact that when childe appeared it didn't play his theme like a heroic entrance but like a monster in a bloodlust. My boy has only one thing in mind and that is to kill the whale and nothing else.

While we were sentenced for 40 days in the fortress, Childe had already been missing, assuming he already entered the abyss to fight the Narwal for 40 Tevat days. BUT: In his character story 4, he spent 3 months in the abyss training with Skirk, and when he returned, "only 3 days had passed in [teyvat]." With this info, we can do the math and he quite literally spend over 3+ YEARS fighting that thing.

@Big-ey1dl no. His foul legacy is the abyssal power. Electro comes from his delusion, hydro from his vision. He didn't have his vision on him so he could only use delusion and foul legacy.
@@Shadow-yc7yyso he learned foul legacy abysial powers that can form any types of weapon, he just need elements to make the weapons out of it? so if he gets pyro vision or dilusion, he will have pyro dagger and pyro doube edge polearm?
Definitely the Abyss. Celestia gave him Hydro powers, while he only has Electro from Foul Legacy.

Nothing can convince me that Childe isn't MHY's favourite child(e). Dude has so many main character traits (and death flags that he repeatedly dodges) that it's insane.
Though I also wouldn't be surprised if he's one of the characters that won't make it to the end of the story.
