this scene made me cry. like actual tears. poor furina lasted so long and alone but now the wind in the air is making her feel free just like the birds at last. she is truly one of the archons of all time, even if she was never one in the first place.

Neuvillette's just proving himself to be more and more monumental with every scene he appears in. Even a Dragon Sovereign of his prowess can find sympathy and forgiveness towards the sufferings of others, when in all his right he could've been cold and merciless towards them. What an epic archon quest.

I think the Dragon Sovereign has never needed to sympathize the oceanids turned humans. Focalors is indeed devious to manipulate the feelings of Neuvilette to swing in her and her people's favour. It's like the jury casting votes. Neuvillete innate ability of the system was taken advantage of and Focalors risked appealing to his compassion. She turned the Hydro Sovereign into 'human' in a way
Like every single Archon Quest that he is in or his character story, he ends up crying and moved over everything that was happened. And people still think that he's heartless. I'll give Navia a pass since she said that in a place of grief.

This archon quest is one of the best well written in terms of lore and execution.
Furina was treated badly in this quest. Focalor torture her for 500 years. Imagine introducing Arlecchino and so much pointless to the storyline. Childe was also pointless. The Whale was also pointless.

This quest could be the best if Skirk didn't exist. RN, only reason for %50 of this Archon quest happened is her being a useless waste of time who couldn't take care of her training pet. And Childe's verdict from Oratrice has the most superficial explanation ever.

But man Rukha disappearance was the peak I find it hard to believe this one is better. But then again, my opinion holds no water right now since I haven't even played it. Little note of thoughts: it felt so wierd to see that pretty much everyone in fontaine knew how to swim, unlike actual earth, which feels crazy

for me, furina suffered the most. she was just an ordinary "human" and was randomly cursed by focalors. she also needed to act like an archon for 500 years. failing to do so might cause the fontainians to die so the stakes were high and furina had no choice. just imagine how tiring that must've been...

It's just insane if you think of it, fighting All-devouring Narwal, Furina being on a trial forcing her to reveal her secrets, learning the truth about the oratrice mecanique d'analyze cardinale as focalor is inside of it, focalor's appearance, and the prophecy being fulfilled happening all at once in a single act. This is just a masterpiece, best archon quest so far.
Furina may not be the Hydro Archon, but she'll forever be the God of Justice.

Okay so- the gnosis is like a physical representation of a god's jurisdiction over the element given, BUT focalors, the god who bears it sacrificed herself for the people so that Furina and everyone in it can orosper, but now I think that Focalors has surely given neuvilette his sovereignty back, i'm sure there's no hydro gnosis now and Neuvilette is the first bonafide ruler of hydro now in five hundred years sin the usurper king took the dragon's power from them

I find out in quest that gnosis are remains of descenders , the hydro gnosis is remains of 3rd descender and it will bring bad luck so neuvillette returned it back to knave and knave took it back to snezhnaya , plus neuvillette got all his powers back of raw element hydro , he is now stronger than archon.
@@ernnchama the gnosis is uneeded actually. Because Neuvillette has acquired his sovereignty back. It might even be better to just throw it away because it is somewhat akin to a curse if he holds it. Honestly, after Fontaine arc, gnosis seems to be something that you better not hold it with you. So perhaps.. All the fatui did is actually helping us??
Gnosis are mix of remains of 3rd Descender and Ancient Dragon's Authority. With Focalors giving back the Authority to Neuvilette, all that's left to the Gnosis is the Hydro power of the 3rd Descender.
so furina really did have a split personality? and since focalors died and nuevillete got all his powers back furina is now just a regular human? no longer the archon?
Not sure yet. We haven't seen the gnosis yet. It looks like furina is a human now but she still can be the archon in the end

The last few update I always hated the archon quests because it was just boring dialogs but i really like the 4.2 story quest. It was an interesting story especially with all the mysterious things about furina being explained.

Before leaving the "Abyss", Skirk suggest Neuvilette to not hold on into the Gnosis as it is the remains of Third Descender. Which means those who bears the Gnosis will bear a risk of curse.
Yes, those who holds the Gnosis practically are holding a piece of corpse.
That's why Neuvilette just gave away the Gnosis willingly.
And we can now confirm that Descenders indeed can control multiple elements at once, since "we" the Travelers just told him that "we" can also use multiple elements without any Vision.
And Neuvilette will never need the Gnosis because he now reclaimed his authority of the Hydro.

Childe is way stronger since then, and the traveler had Neuvillette’s help
Childe obviously got stronger. Even as far back as version 2.2 it's stated that childe was stronger than 3 element traveler. And traveler and neuvilette fought the whale not just traveler alone
Childe has Abyssal power and training so it makes sense he can damage the whale.

The archon quest in Fontaine was good, but I still think the narwhal just being a pet on a loose was out of place. I'm thinking if skirk just took care of it this whole prophecy thing would've been taken care of, isn't the whale the reason why the primodial sea's acting up? Maybe I missed something lol.
I feel like they could've introduced the whale and skirk in the interlude with Dain, bcs its connected to the abyss iirc. Ik the whale was fed with primodial sea but it doesn't have to be the very reason why fontaine's facing a catastrophic event. I was convinced the prophecy was a predetermined thing bcs of celestia's wrath, didn't expect them to insert the whale.. Just the way skirk handled the whale and childe lmfao.
That's probably one of the reason why Childe is deemed guilty, because he "woke" Narwhal and thus triggering the whole prophecy

Bruh, Dainsleif is upcoming playable character when Khaenri'ah release in the future it's already announced by Hoyoverse before genshin impact release. He's Vision is currently unknown but it have a encrypted symbol for sure that will be a new element in the future.
