Installing some CPADDICT cab lights on the BauerStroke! Hope you all enjoy. Cab light kit: cpaddict.com/products/complet... Gaskets: www.ebay.com/itm/204231063026...
Great lookin’ truck. I remember years ago when the factory cab lights were still available for these trucks, they came with a template you could lay on the roof. I haven’t been able to find anything like that lately, but looks like you’re right on the money. Thanks!
Those gaskets were extra - you don’t need those thick gaskets bc with the cop kit the housing is contoured to the roof. You prolly threw em out but if you used the ones in the kit, in a few years time you coulda opened your drawer and swap em out
@@drogobero4479 with the cp kit the gasket was damn near flush with the rim of the light. Didn’t hardly protrude at all. I talked to Paul at CP and even he said they send you that many so you can double them up
Great video. I am attempting this surgery tomorrow. Question…were there any anchors for the screws to attach to? Or did you just send the screws into that 7/64th pre drilled hole? Also, did you use any silicone anywhere? Thx in advance
@@ScottFenelon-o5f no silicone used. And yeah the factory installed lights use what I call a speed clip but I threaded mine right into the sheet metal of the cab. I mean don’t go crazy and try to run them in with an impact driver but the sheet metal is plenty stout enough
Hey! The codes are JL and DZ which is Dark Toreador Red Metallic and Light Saddle Metallic. To date I’d say I probably have $25-28,000 in the whole truck.
Mean no bad but watched this " string n wire " show 3 x and still have absolutely no idea what this guy was confusingly attempting to verbally detail regarding the string, wire, inside A-Post pony show etc. ... Confusing at best and I'm an engineer. How about actually showing what you did while you do it instead of talking about it later ?
Old dirty shortbed here. About to add cab lights to my truck. I appreciate this video. It was perfect.
Thanks dude!
“Your gonna have to look at it a million times”😂😂 i felt that bro lol
Glad you got this new cab lights installed on this 97 Ford F250 3/4 ton that has a project name BauerStroke sweet

So the complete performance kit comes with the harness and everything you need to do it?

Can you do some catch clean and cooks videos
Great video what running light bulbs are in the truck?
Just plain halogen bulbs
@@ROELKEY2442 they look extra bright I wouldn’t have guessed they were halogens
Have you taken it through a drive through car wash or used a pressure washer on the truck since? How do they seal, are you getting any water in?
Haven’t washed the truck since but have had some heavy rain. No leaks
Hey I ask on a older video the other day, what is the color of both colors on it? And how much do you think it costed you for the whole project?
Hey! The codes are JL and DZ which is Dark Toreador Red Metallic and Light Saddle Metallic. To date I’d say I probably have $25-28,000 in the whole truck.
Where did you get your projector headlights and do you get a good pattern out of it?
BajaHIDRetroFits. They are decent.
what headlights are those?
What step bit did you order?
I ordered a half inch bit
@@ROELKEY2442 I thought the wiring hole had to be 3/4?
@@wily3226 might have been. Whatever size I referenced in the video is the size bit I ordered. It’s been a while since

I’m thinking the same exact thing. I’ve watched 10 times. Great video tho
Did you make a video as to how to wire it into the fuse panel?
@@KoldKillaC if you watch the video it shows you where to hook the harness into the factory cab harness. Nothing has to be done in the fuse panel
So the complete performance kit comes with the harness and everything you need to do it?
The harness and bulbs are add-ons when you buy the lights. The mounting screws are sold separately but can be purchased from them as well
