I used to have an hp48gII but the keyboard wore out. It had a REV 1.23 ROM and only 80k 9f memory. It had the main Devopment library 256 but did not contain the asm library 257 so it could not assemble code. There was no room for extable. I liked to use it on the bus going to and from work.I would occasionally archive 8t to a PC on my hp49g+. I would archive the HOME directory to the hp49g+ or PC.. Doing an archive to an hp49g+ was slow as I had to use Kermit when doing an archive by IR. After my original hp48gII did I got a new one with ROM 2.08. It has 213k of RAM for the user. It had library 257 so it could assemble codel It also had the equation libraries in ROM. It also had a rugged plastic cover. It seemed to be built for work in the field. To find the version of your hp49g+ or hp48gII type version and press enter.
I'm glad I stumbled onto your video - I followed you on my 48gii , after I put fresh batteries in it. Simple keystrokes, but when you haven't used it in a while you soon forget. Thanks for the refresher.

I want to buy a 48gii but I have questions? 1- Does it have computer algebra system because cthagtp( I can't write the app's exact name but I am sure you can understand.😊) says it doesn't have it? 2- Does it have all specifications that 50g has or what are the differences between 2 models? It's essentially identical to the 50g/49g+/49G. It's going to be slightly slower than the 50g and 49g+, have a smaller display and no sd card expansion slot. The software is pretty much copy and paste.
I'm sorry, I would like to ask you to show me how to program hp prime. I myself am a disabled person from Russia with cerebral palsy, I can't walk, bad speech, I really like doing calculators.
