I was a nerd back in high school (1994 to 1998) who bought this tank of a calculator for around $190 bucks. I was the coolest kid in my pre-calc and calc class. I still have it and it still my favorite one :-)
I had this at university. Yes i did use it in exams, however i most certianly did not use keyboard to put in notes and use in exams, it would look a bit obvious if it were written exam. Used in maths exams it was great fantstic asset to me as i have Dyscalcula. Was extreemly intimidating; particually the 500 page manual. TI cares email help was absolute asset.
Yes, you could use it, however it was still very big.I showed this one because I love the look of it and the different shape. Stood out from the other ones..
Yes it is big, i got comment when bringing it inot exam, "Ow if only i knew i would have bough my laptop in". How large is the new version, cant be much smaller.

HELP! I did reset-all on my brother’s new TI-92 and he’ll kill me if he finds out that the screen went all black
are you dead already? no ? good. Your brother didn't kill you then.
ftey2000 luckily, I got my dad to help me, but my brother would’ve tried to stab me if he found it that way
It wasn’t a success because of the QWERTY keyboard made it unsuitable for standardized test like the ACT and SAT.
this guy has no idea what cas is and what's cool about it :)
