agree! sungjae was asked once what the difference was between hyunsik and minhyuk’s directing and he said that hyunsik’s very detailed and expects a certain sound or tone while minhyuk is more free and lets vocalists decide how to sing their parts~ and then minhyuk said that’s why they finish recording earlier if he’s directing 😂 great observation! and lol, the difference between them is pretty interesting too, in the sense that their styles are also kinda reflective of their main positions: hyunsik as a vocalist is more focused on tone while minhyuk as a rapper is more focused on the beats~
