I do it the same way with one exception, I make my cut with a paper cutter. No ruler no sharpie no cleaning the sharpie marks!! Just line up the edges of the tape and make one perfect cut.
I don't understand why you cut out the shape free hand and didn't use the rule.
DO NOT USE rubbing alcohol to remove the Sharpe. I had to rub hard and it started to remove the ink on the sticker. I'll do no Sharpe next time. otherwise worked out great! I covered mine with Pro Kote
Hi- Whats the diameter of the largest wraps. I need a diameter that would cover 1 1/4.
do you apply the epoxy on the rod skinz?
why did you mark the cut so far from the edge of the tape?

my god.. do you people really do it this way? if you do, you really need to take some classes of your own before you teach people to do it how you show.
your other videos are sloppy and set people up for failure with you poor application methods..
