    Best instructional video on this that i've ever seen, not missing any of the questions. Thank you.
    If you could normalise the volumes between the music and the voice for the next ones - that'd be extra lovely of you :) Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks for the comments! Feedback is noted and we’ll look into how we can get better with music/voice. Happy throwing!

      @@kurtegibson thanks. I run about 10km daily. After the run i practice the frisbee for an hour. Throw, run to frisbee, pick up and throw, for 3 km. My lower back was very painful for 2 weeks when i started to learn frisbee. Too much twist at the hip maybe.

    What cause frisbee wabbling and how to fix it? Thanks.

    • @IHACKER316
      @IHACKER316 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You might need more spin and snap from your wrist

    • @kurtegibson
      @kurtegibson  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ll definitely do a video on this in the future

    • @isatropaia
      @isatropaia 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      usually you dont have enough rotation/spin when you throw the frisbee, so to fix it you have to flick your wrist quicker

    Hey Kurt, first of thanks for the video. My hucks are going straight and have decent distance but not enough height I feel like. What should I work on to add that height?

    • @kurtegibson
      @kurtegibson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hucks don’t necessarily need height, you will need to work on your release angle to adjust for that. You shouldn’t have to adjust so much that it affects your overall throw

    Hello, nice video ! Just to make it clear, because I think that could help me being more consistent : It is "Body (abs, shoulders) first, then Arm" ? Not "arm first, supported by the rotating body" ?

    • @kurtegibson
      @kurtegibson  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      On a huck for max distance having a tight core is critical. You can’t achieve max distance without it. So, by engaging the core first and then (nearly simultaneously after) begin rotating and pulling the arm around is how you’ll get the max torque.

    One thing that isn’t mentioned here is how/if you adjust your grip. The adage “grip it harder, throw it farther” has gotten me a few more yards on my hucks, but some advocate keeping the grip loose. What’s your opinion on this?

    • @kurtegibson
      @kurtegibson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think a looser grip has merit in disc golf because it’s a smaller/lighter disc, but in ultimate unless you have extremely large hands I don’t see how a looser grip would help. Snap is very important and that’s difficult to attain without a tight grip
