The Notorious Gamer people would not tend to take the whole bag, they could pick out the useful things like food, fire starters and if in a large group, the knives would be good to share out between three or four people.
The odd thing about zombie shows and tutorials is that they all tell you to go out and about rather than staying at your house or settling at a base, you should just fortify your home or even just your garage / basement
Depends on the situation if you are in a large city let's say new york your BEST plan is evacuating with a vehicule with two wheels because the cities will quickly be quanrantined and martial law will apply so if you don't go out you might be stuck for a while and you need a bike because all the higwways will be cloged and only bikes will go trought so you have to pack light and go fast.
@@seranom sure.it's only in your little imagination that it happens that way and you destroy the millions of people in all large cities and you defeat military personnel with your bare fists
I would use a backpacking backpack, like an osprey, or even a hyperlight 2400 if you want to be really light. They're really comfortable to carry and are more streamlined than the tactical Molle packs with all the side pouches.
You definitely can't forget bug repellent! Although this kit would be great for fighting off zombies and surviving in the wild, it is so easy to get infected because insects can get infected by biting zombies, and those bugs are so easy to miss and you'd be infected that easily. NEVER FORGET BUG REPELLING PRODUCTS!

And a solar panel with a battery is as good as it gets for sustainability and even for barter. My brother and I have added such devices to our supplies. I also enjoyed the introduction.

Nice stuff. Things i see time and again is people relying on knifes (short melee weapons) and handguns. You want to create as much distance as possible to the zombies (or hostile people) so a long melee weapon would be my nr.1 choice. I unironically used to watch this video back to back for hours on end every single day in high school, sitting there on my shitty little school Chromebook watching it over and over made my mind race with thoughts about all the things I’d put in my kit. I dreamt about it for years. Eventually I had to give up on it due to some personal and financial problems that arose but lately I’ve had the funds to get back into this hobby and I am proud to say that I FINALLY have my first, real survival kit. It is by no means perfect, and I absolutely intend on making purchases to upgrade many things in it, but with the things included I can easily survive in the woods, no problems, for a solid week and I’m so proud of myself for never giving up on this dream

Great video, and I got some really good ideas from it, so I will be adding to mine. As far as shelter and sleeping, I carry an ENO hammock with a bug net & rain fly. It takes up very little space, can be setup in a safe area off the ground. The only drawback is that it does not have side walls to keep wind out, but I also carry a sub zero lightweight sleeping bag that is very comfortable. Great video, and keep the "zombie" references coming because it can very well happen, and it is also a good metaphor for any general Human Ending Event (HEE).

Good call on the SAS Survival Guide. Any military guide like that (i.e. Ranger Handbook and Special Forces Handbook, etc.) is good to know inside and out.

I love the bug out bag idea as i have one but i believe that there has to be a stopping point. Nobody needs 8 knives or 3 fire starter kits, 6 different pouches with redundant gear. Chances are..... though you may not think you have to- if you are on the go, you will AQUIRE as you move
You should use a Sawyer Mini instead of a lifestraw, have a hatchet, have a bigger ferrocerium rod and have a flint and steel kit to. A Done magnesiumbar would be nice to have to.
my kit. Dagger. Machete. Shotgun. radio. 70 packs of walkie talkies. Lots and lots of shotgun shells. water bottle. water purifier. Lots of astronaut food. vegetable and fruit seeds. wood. hammer. nails. stones. package. bag of charcoal. tent. sleeping bag. duct tape. chainsaw. gasoline. 10 boxes of matches. Swat Gear. 30 gas masks. 10 med kits. and bug repellent
napstablook. I'd build a base which is protected to hold out in and keep all that gear because it is heavy yet useful. Add some shipping containers surrounded by fences and add a turret and you got a base
all i need is that survival guide, food, a bag, knife and bat, lighter, water filter, a gun, cloths, communication device, charger and most importantly A GOD DAMN RIDE DUH!!!!!
Proteam Co. I would personaly take: -a wool blanket.(you die very quicky from cold and that's your first prioritues) -a tarp(good over the blanket or to cover the floor or cover holes in building or make a shelter outside) -a saucepan (cooking food and boil water to make it drinkable) -ductape (always handy no matter what) -some cord (same as ductape just stronger) -socks and boxers (most important clothes to change) -medkit -a good bag to hold all that stuff -a machete -some cans or MRE's -water Well that's already a good weight so i live it right here
I'm so judging him right now, for someone with military and Redcross experience this is a bad survival kit. However, he did get some key materials correct.
@Zhou Zay You can only put so much stuff in one backpack 🎒 I think you guys should cut him a little slack. I mean he more than likely has more experience than any of us.
Just got into The Walking Dead and now I am looking around my room thinking what I could pack/grab if the zombie apocalypse ever happened. Also this is extra af but like I’m into it:)
I think you should have two fixed blades on the bottom of the pack so you have access with right or left hand to a knife from the bottom of the pack. Cool video tho 👍🏼👍🏼
Some people say you shouldn't have military like bags cause others will know you have good stuff. But I love military bags. Also I put my knife on my belt in case I get seperate from my bag. But it is a good idea to keep weapons hidden but easy to get to. Because if someone is watching you they'll see the weapons and want it, and when they attack you they might already have a plan to grab your knife off of you, so it's good if you have a few surprises up your sleeves.
@@jessebrown4755 weapons arent a neccesity shelter air and water is so you dont need to have thousands of dollars worth of rifles and ammo when you could play defensive
2 questions. What do you think it costs all inclusive? And why wouldnt you fasten your sleeping bag under the bag and utilize all the room it takes up?
I'm an amateur radio operator and ex-signal corps. Those bags you have your "Walkie Talkies" in would do exactly nothing for EMP shielding. It's great to keep them dry, I just don't want you in a situation where emp shielding matters, and you find out it didn't work...
One item missing my friend you need a crowbar especially in a zombie apocalypse Incase you need to get into places a crowbar will help you with that, great video thanks for the useful tips👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
MCstar of light shoot and scoot, you won't be going out of your way to kill zombies since ammo is a concern but it's good to have in case of an emergency whether it be zombies or other people (you can bluff really well if you have a deadly weapon and look experienced)
How do you attach the baseball bat? I have tryed to find a video on how to do that but can't find any. Do you have a strap or something? Is it secured?
Damn Brother talk about prepared!! I think you done a helluva good job covering all the bases!! I found your channel through a smart ass remark someone made about you on a knife review where the guy is getting pledges for a very expensive knife! Anyway turns out that jackass did you a favor cause I come over to check things out on your channel and just by this video alone I like your style so you got another subscriber out of it!! Look forward to checking out your other videos! Thanks Man.
everybody here is too young and edgy to understand the consequence of a catastrophic event. there will never be a zombie apocalypse, it would quickly fail. and even if it would occur. 80% of everyone in the comment section would die, dont think your ahead of the game because your not. the fact that you want a event like this to happen already proves my point, you have way too much self confidence for this situation. let me make it clear, YOU KIDS WOULDN'T SURVIVE THE FIRST DAY, NOBODY THINKS YOUR SPECIAL AND COOL. REAL PREPPERS SEE YOU AS AN UNREALISTIC AND STUPID, STOP TELLING EVERYONE THAT YOU'D SURVIVE THIS!
And most preppers would die within a couple days. Just because you got a gun doesn't mean you are any better off then a 10 year old with a machete. At the end of the day it all comes down to luck, if it did ever break out where it did, your location as of the notice and it comes down greatly to your mentality. Why would you honestly want to live in a world of fear and death? We aren't talking middle East here we are talking middle East meets Nazis meets concentration camps and you are a weak prisoner with a broken leg. At no point would anybody truly live past 1-10 years
At least you would last a few days weeks or maby just a month people are not gonna just die so fast even if the army gets taken over the zombies would starve so stop saying everyone's gonna die if you are saying that your saying you would not so long you know what you wouldn't last a day and you would be the first to be infected so stop being mean😠
Maybe a small hand gun can be worked in? Unless you're carrying one already? I know this is a bag review, and you would want to waist the time or ammo on a zombie, or hunting. But the people that might be out to harm you is a different story. A small gun like an M&P shield takes up very little room, can get in various calibers, and easy to hide on your person. In that kind of situation, that would be the only reason to use a gun. Just like today. Except I think it would be far more needed in that situation. It was only a thought. You need a few ways of protecting your self and loved ones.
Omg ATTWOOD ROPE ROMAN SOLDIERS ROMANS FIRST JOD WAS WORKING AT HIS FAMILY ROPE MAKING COMPONY ALL OF YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BUT ITS JUST A HEADS UP😂😂😂😂😂😂
How much does the bag weight?! If it’s too heavy..And an unfit person will definitely not survive! So many repeating items..not enough food! But thanks for making this! Great fun for training.
Wow, you gave us another thing to prepare for. Also going to keep the lights on tonight. We have some great tools you should try in case of a disaster or you know, zombies. Let us know if you would like to try!
He had a fishing kit and plenty of cord to set up snairs that sounds like food to me. Also those electronics weren't garbage a light source is important in any survival situation. They also all have a way to get recharged. The only way to really improve this is with a riot suit and some bigger weapons like guns and bigger melee weapons.
i grew up trapping and fishing it can take days to get snares to work(if your luck). fishing takes time to too. a light source is not necessary for survival food is. throw out the brick size radio get a smaller hand crank one. toss the walkie talkies and all the charging crap. then you would have enough room for 3 days worth of food easy. then add 2 small traps and a better fishing kit.
I think everything in this bag is essential and for those who say 30lbs is a lot that ain't nothing if this will allow you to survive in the wilderness for weeks
how much does your pack weigh? where can I get the items you have? although I believe we are far from a zombie mishap, those are some pretty good lone survival items you have there, and it looks like the pack is typically light in weight. thanks brother! and I'm not sure if I caught that if you were a paramedic, but if you are, thank you sir!
Knowing your native plants is very important in survival mode. What you can or cannot eat in nature. Living is SW FL I found out I have at least 6 wild edible plants just in my yard. Also found out about other edibles that I see all over while going to the store or clinic. Canned or dehydrated food is all people think, but it won't last long, a year at most, maybe, maybe even less. We need to go back to nature and learn how to live in it, how to feed, how to find medicinal herbs and use them. That is survival and only that will help to survive in long term.
Great stuff man ! I like your setup , I don't prep for zombies tho :) Only thing I would change is that folding saw with a silky or bahco saws have a nice day Nick

Good call on the SAS Survival Guide. Any military guide like that (i.e. Ranger Handbook and Special Forces Handbook, etc.) is good to know inside and out.
Hello BudgetBugout You really ready when there is an outbreak of zombie virus, this very cool man
This takes survival to a whole new level you go
Me:watches video
*Mom walks in*
Mom: You watch too much Walking dead
Me: No I don't it's going to happen mom!
*Mom walks out*
Me: -Secretly pulls out school book bag to make a survival kit-
Lmao

I love the bug out bag idea as i have one but i believe that there has to be a stopping point. Nobody needs 8 knives or 3 fire starter kits, 6 different pouches with redundant gear. Chances are..... though you may not think you have to- if you are on the go, you will AQUIRE as you move
Well done, i love all the contents it gets you thinking about how to set up an awesome BOB.
Useful for any Apocalypse.
You should use a Sawyer Mini instead of a lifestraw, have a hatchet, have a bigger ferrocerium rod and have a flint and steel kit to. A Done magnesiumbar would be nice to have to.
my kit. Dagger. Machete. Shotgun. radio. 70 packs of walkie talkies. Lots and lots of shotgun shells. water bottle. water purifier. Lots of astronaut food. vegetable and fruit seeds. wood. hammer. nails. stones. package. bag of charcoal. tent. sleeping bag. duct tape. chainsaw. gasoline. 10 boxes of matches. Swat Gear. 30 gas masks. 10 med kits. and bug repellent
nice!! although I don't think the chainsaw is very practical 😁
napstablook. Or the rocks
napstablook.
You couldn't carry all thatShotgun shells are heavy.
250 shells weigh a lot
napstablook. I'd build a base which is protected to hold out in and keep all that gear because it is heavy yet useful. Add some shipping containers surrounded by fences and add a turret and you got a base
That would weigh too much dude
i just finished The Walking Dead Marathon and BudgetBugout uploaded zombie apocalypse kit 3.0 this day is my day xD
why dont you drop the lifestraw they dont filter nearly as well or for as long as the sawyer mini or even squeeze
You can't fill bottles or cups with the Livestraw.... :D
The lifestraw is one of the most important items in the kit. You can basically drink from anywhere
+Merk Hofmeister Sawyer too! :D
Green Hat i dont think he has ever used a sawyer lol can be used like a life straw yet is smaller
I have both but I prefer the life straw
all i need is that survival guide, food, a bag, knife and bat, lighter, water filter, a gun, cloths, communication device, charger and most importantly A GOD DAMN RIDE DUH!!!!!
Proteam Co. I would personaly take:
-a wool blanket.(you die very quicky from cold and that's your first prioritues)
-a tarp(good over the blanket or to cover the floor or cover holes in building or make a shelter outside)
-a saucepan (cooking food and boil water to make it drinkable)
-ductape (always handy no matter what)
-some cord (same as ductape just stronger)
-socks and boxers (most important clothes to change)
-medkit
-a good bag to hold all that stuff
-a machete
-some cans or MRE's
-water
Well that's already a good weight so i live it right here
30 lb, forget that baseball bat man the backpack itself is a weapon!!!
Pls do a vid on the solar panel charger thingy. It looks interesting, and I would like to know more about it.
I'm so judging him right now, for someone with military and Redcross experience this is a bad survival kit. However, he did get some key materials correct.
What did he do wrong?
@Zhou Zay You can only put so much stuff in one backpack 🎒 I think you guys should cut him a little slack. I mean he more than likely has more experience than any of us.
@Zhou Zay Thank you
That folding saw blew my mind! Loved the bag set-up. Everything thing in the bag made sense. Great work!
love the survival kit 👏
THE FLASH 13
I know
😃
Best survival kit ever. But as a suggestion, maybe include a mini tent ⛺️ if u can.
The jumpscare at the beginning tho.
Hahaha! Sorry
+BudgetBugout i almost shit my pants.
+BudgetBugout I have one question can any of the weapons be brought in Britain cuz I can easily get the rests but do u know if I can?
Just got into The Walking Dead and now I am looking around my room thinking what I could pack/grab if the zombie apocalypse ever happened.
Also this is extra af but like I’m into it:)
wow u r really prepared for the apocalypse
I think you should have two fixed blades on the bottom of the pack so you have access with right or left hand to a knife from the bottom of the pack. Cool video tho 👍🏼👍🏼
I'll bet Norman Reedus doesn't have a kit like that! Or any hollyweird type....
On his tombstone it reads:
“Died poor and alone, but prepared to survive a fictional threat.”
“Organ Donor”
this is by far the most realistic zombie bag yet it was very intresting
aw you are awesome! love the intro ;D can you do a video for zombie apocalypse moms where it's not "too" much.
One thing that's handy is a Gerber hatchet:small, light weight, heavy duty and extremely sharp
U don’t have enough weapons
Was thinking same
You guys are definitely not preppers if you think that.
@@jessebrown4755 weapons arent a neccesity shelter air and water is so you dont need to have thousands of dollars worth of rifles and ammo when you could play defensive
No such thing as enough weapons
Oh my goodness just as your siren went off a train blew it whistle as it came by and scared the crap out of me. LOL
ok if a zombie apocalypse happened there would be no power so how would you charge your lights duh
his solar panels. finish the video.
H8T3 Gaming he has crank and solar powered chargers.
And a other way to get some light glow in a dark macth or glue
Love that you have Atwood rope ❤
May 2020, who knows what's gonna happen at this point. ww3 almost happened, then a plague, then aliens, now probably zombies.
I can say that this is the best survival bag you made
I’m 13 so don’t kill me but I kinda want a zombie apocalypse
Same
Your a fucking idiot
TheFuriosGamer you need to get laid
TheFuriosGamer same here
Nick 262 you're *
2 questions. What do you think it costs all inclusive? And why wouldnt you fasten your sleeping bag under the bag and utilize all the room it takes up?
**alarm goes off**
Me: OH BOB SAGET
I'm an amateur radio operator and ex-signal corps. Those bags you have your "Walkie Talkies" in would do exactly nothing for EMP shielding. It's great to keep them dry, I just don't want you in a situation where emp shielding matters, and you find out it didn't work...
he got Roman Atwood's rope
One item missing my friend you need a crowbar especially in a zombie apocalypse Incase you need to get into places a crowbar will help you with that, great video thanks for the useful tips👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
but we're tf are the guns
Everything Junkie if you are using guns the zombie will be too much because zombie will find where the sound of guns
500 subs with no videos? Found them thanks for the help
MCstar of light shoot and scoot, you won't be going out of your way to kill zombies since ammo is a concern but it's good to have in case of an emergency whether it be zombies or other people (you can bluff really well if you have a deadly weapon and look experienced)
Your style of making videos is way better right now, keep it up
Can you please create a version 4
How do you attach the baseball bat? I have tryed to find a video on how to do that but can't find any. Do you have a strap or something? Is it secured?
That's got to be expensive
in total about 1600 dollars
Creeper Jakob I did the math, it's about $1,758.62.
Zombies themselves are impossible, but this can still help with a lot of different apocalyptic situations
It's the apocalypse why do you car if the zombies step on your poop ?????????
Pedro Sanchez LOL
That is a good point
They could smell the odor and will follow the cent to you
Wait what?
Exactly
Omg ATTWOOD ROPE ROMAN SOLDIERS ROMANS FIRST JOD WAS WORKING AT HIS FAMILY ROPE MAKING COMPONY ALL OF YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BUT ITS JUST A HEADS UP😂😂😂😂😂😂
English,please?
eeeh.. what?
hes using attwood rope made my roman attawoods dads compny
Dubstep Dinosaur - Gaming, Coding and Trolling! Fuck you
How much does the bag weight?! If it’s too heavy..And an unfit person will definitely not survive! So many repeating items..not enough food! But thanks for making this! Great fun for training.
It's less than 20 lbs (about 10% of my body weight)
I think this is a bit overkill
Wayne Threadgate is there such a thing in the Zombie Apocalypse?
BudgetBugout good point 😉😉
Wow, you gave us another thing to prepare for. Also going to keep the lights on tonight. We have some great tools you should try in case of a disaster or you know, zombies. Let us know if you would like to try!
multiple ways to cook food and no food or dedicated way to obtain food. you will end up hungry and making bad decisions to obtain food!
Did you not see the mountain house food?!
i saw the 30 pounds of electronic garbage
Jordan
I think everything in this bag is essential and for those who say 30lbs is a lot that ain't nothing if this will allow you to survive in the wilderness for weeks
you watch too much The Walking Dead
how much does your pack weigh?
where can I get the items you have?
although I believe we are far from a zombie mishap, those are some pretty good lone survival items you have there, and it looks like the pack is typically light in weight. thanks brother!
and I'm not sure if I caught that if you were a paramedic, but if you are, thank you sir!
(insert funny joke here)
iu ar a dick
My friend was bragging about his dick size he said it goes from a to z then I told him to look at his key board.
Your life
A Ham sandwich walks into a bar, the bartender says, "Sorry you can't come in, we don't serve food here."
replace the lmf 2, serrations are inferior to fine edge. The gerber strongarm is very similar but comes in fine edge
Just add silencers. One of the best addons for guns in fact they make bullets stronger. Useful for the ZA.
and an axe, also the headsets are fucking amazing for the raidio. Waterproof and emp proof while your using them.
How'd you fix that fixed blade to the bottom of your backpack? Surely this thing doesnt have Molle webbing on the bottom of the pack, does it?
I am confused about one thing. The solar panels. Why would one need solar panels if all USB devices would be useless? is it for lamps and lanterns?
Great stuff man ! I like your setup , I don't prep for zombies tho :)
Only thing I would change is that folding saw with a silky or bahco saws
have a nice day
Nick
The intro was awesome...
If their was a zombie apocalypse where would you go to hide or camp
I remember i watch this when i was maybe 15 years old prepping for a zombie apocalypse but then i get a bit older and that stuff faded away over time and i miss that time i remember i stacked up wather weapons and food and was ready for a war thats was good old days
Same but I was 12
This is my old account and this is the last thing I watched
Should add a handgun revolver or semi auto. You don't want to get close enough o use your knives. But very nice go bag! Good stuff!
Very nice to see that someone is using there apocabox and battlbox gear in there bags and kits I know iam
