One of my best friends was a super senior, not because he didn’t do well, but because he had major heart problems and was always in and out of the hospital. The school literally told him that they’d let him graduate if he tried hard in his last year, but he took the fifth year so he could have less stress. Dude was the GOAT, and I miss him sometimes. He had a fatal heart attack shortly after graduating.

My best friend was the smart kid _and_ the class clown. When she graduated as valedictorian, she began her speech by congratulating everyone for voting her as class clown a few weeks prior and went off on a tangent on how she did the worm at prom.
As someone who is in the group of 3 smart kids, I can confirm that we do help others and each other with homework without expecting anything in turn. Especially when I’m only at school for 3 hours, waiting for it to turn 12 so I could leave. I tend to get my work done in 20 minutes leaving me with nothing to do so I just help other people. Sometimes I just get sent to other classes to assist the teachers.
@@sdf_96 only 3 hours a day because I’m just taking the classes I need to get into college. Next semester I’m only going to have 2 which are just the ones I need to graduate. If you get most of the credits you need in grades 10 and 11 you won’t need to do too much in grade 12. It’s not too uncommon for grade 12 students to have a very minimal amount of classes.

Did swim (2 years before, this will be my third year) an cross country/track (this is my second year). Hugely agree Tier list. One of our top Runners (he runs 17 minute range) in cross country is also really good at martial arts and plans to go to the UFC. He's a senior currently but an absolute homie most of the time, like most of our XC team. The "work hard, play hard" athletes should all be in S-Tier. These guys, and girls, when their your homies, are something else. They're the reason I stopped being an holed up, isolated introvert (like I was in middle school and Freshman year) and love myself🥲❤...

I was a super senior in highschool and a nerd though some how I was still pretty popular. The reason I was a super senior was due to a failure in the school's administration. So I was at highschool for only 4 years just 1 year older than I was supposed to be. Some people judged me on it, most thought I was cool after getting to know me. But yeah the stereotype sucks. It was an awful feeling to never have or be able to be in a relationship in highschool when you see people flaunting their couple status all the time. Like I never knew social media could be a physical place but it is.

yea im in hs now but in middle school i had 282 tardies like it was so funny i would just walk in 20 min late and teachers would pass me without looking twice. also then i ran a wrestling club during lunch and I would take wagers i did so mcuh more stuff its so funny adn then i broke some kid's leg but pretended i was autistic and put on a year long performance so i didnt get in trouble for any of it

I agree I think one difference between the smart kids and the nerds is the smart kids hate homework like everyone else whereas the nerds want homework. In Elementary, I kind of had someone who was like the blue haired girl. This was around 3rd-4th grade. So in my class, I had this girl who lets call, Ashley. Now Ashley wasn't very popular or hated, she was somewhat normal. Ashley was also decentpy friendly if you got to know her, but as you're about to see she was very weird to others. Ashley was energetic which you think would be normal but this leads into some other things. First of all, she would get so upset when something inconvenienced her even a tiny bit. Here's an example: Ashley had this tissue box with like 10 inside it and when someone stole it even though there was barely any tissues left, she freaked out like a monkey. She would also do this noise that sounded like "MMMM!" Like the sound every little kid makes when they don't get a cookie. Literally once I asked her if she could move her desk (it was a small standing desk) and she did the sound I was talking about. Besides her friendgroup, nobody really liked her that much. TLDR: Some kid made weird sounds whenever she had the slightest inconvenience and was annoying af.
I went to school with an insane gym class hero. She thought every single thing in life was a game or competition. She was absolutely insufferable and really thought she was going to be a famous athlete. Complete delusion. The actual A1 athlete did become a famous footballer (soccer as I’m British) and she works in a shop. I was a smart kid but I was more of an outcast in high school. Although I did do a few people’s homework for money. It was free for the two people I liked. Then I got to college (two years post high school and pre university years in the UK) and started doing everyone’s homework/ assignments. I needed to make bank to go travelling. The problem is, the nerds have a point, all the people I helped dropped out of university. The weren’t actually smart enough to hack it without help…oops!

I was the annoying but friendly kid who never stopped talking. Spent a lot of her time learning useless information and would talk to people about that useless information. Usually got good grades but never applied herself, didn't study much until college.
I was the class clown in school. A lot of it is just trying random things and seeing what works and what doesn’t. A lot of the times my jokes fell flat, but I had a few really successful ones, the one I remember most fondly was when some kid was going on about how he’s deaf in one ear and it ‘runs in the family’ and I was just like *”Excuses are like assholes Tyler! Everyone’s got one!”*
Hey Duck, big fan, some thought of me as a smart kid in high school and for a lot of smart kids we hate school just as much as everyone else, but because we are half way good at it, at least I want to help others get through school.
From a “kid in marching band” myself, that’s spot on. I could never relate to the band kids, and they actually got pissed when I would hang out with other students during lunch. They wanted us to sit in the band room every day during lunch to go over PIT drills or something. I’m still glad I dipped on the homecoming game 😂 I got death threats from it but still totally worth it.
Remember if you think of yourself as a class clown and have a humor based on memes and trends you are not, you are just annoying as hell and people are being polite and just laugh at your dumb unfunny jokes. Exactly you have to keep your humor relatable to the situation, it might always hit the target and has to stay between unharmed humor and deeply dark humor (if you want to)

Some of the special needs students at my school are super seniors. My sister has autism and other generalized intellectual disabilities and she’s a super senior due to the fact she bombed most of her classes during COVID year. Per my states law also kids in the sped program can stay until 21

I had a late kid at our school. He was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 the W. He comin to school while class is already starting and is like "Sorry, 'cher, I woke up late🤷♂️" And sure he was pretty chill most of the time but then he calls everybody near him a "chicken". Like he'd see someone and goes like " Wow, [__] is such a chicken" Like bro, what'd I do? Other times he'd even pull on peoples hair and the more sensitive kids would cry when he did. And then he just sits there in the back like never did anything wrong, even while the teacher is talking to him about his behavior he just sits there like 😐. Trust me, I was a Kid in Band from 4th to 12th grade (trumpet player, Class of 2011, gonna get back into playing soon).The Kids in Band fucking hated the Band Kids because not only would they make us all look bad, their 2007-2011 Era Cringe/Overly Competitive, straight outta GLEE ass antics would make what should be the peak of the day for us into Hell. They would piss off all of our Band Directors and all of them were Chill! Okay, the Junior High one would blow a gasket sometimes but it was rare and he had a damned good reason every time. Many kids know me for being part of the school weekly announcements team, while my classmates know me for being very nice, smart, good habits, and being cool. Girls sometimes stare at me too. But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna turn the whole school into my friend. There’s still some kids who sometimes try to get me rekt. And also I really don’t have many friends either, less than 5, and I’m very lonely in school, I rarely see my friends or have conversations with them. No one talks to me just because I don’t have socials. I’m 15 and I’ve NEVER dated before or have had any relationships with girls and I still have my V-card. No one cares to invite me to their house for a play date or get invited to high school parties of any sort. So don’t be discouraged if you're like me and don’t have friends.
I'm a combination of the NPC and smart kid. For my entire year in geometry I just gave answers and tutored people for every assignment. I would also do generic NPC activities and never interact with people and just do work or be on my phone.

In Elementary, I kind of had someone who was like the blue haired girl. This was around 3rd-4th grade. So in my class, I had this girl who lets call, Ashley. Now Ashley wasn't very popular or hated, she was somewhat normal. Ashley was also decentpy friendly if you got to know her, but as you're about to see she was very weird to others. Ashley was energetic which you think would be normal but this leads into some other things. First of all, she would get so upset when something inconvenienced her even a tiny bit. Here's an example: Ashley had this tissue box with like 10 inside it and when someone stole it even though there was barely any tissues left, she freaked out like a monkey. She would also do this noise that sounded like "MMMM!" Like the sound every little kid makes when they don't get a cookie. Literally once I asked her if she could move her desk (it was a small standing desk) and she did the sound I was talking about. Besides her friendgroup, nobody really liked her that much.
TLDR: Some kid made weird sounds whenever she had the slightest inconvenience and was annoying af.

I went to school with an insane gym class hero. She thought every single thing in life was a game or competition. She was absolutely insufferable and really thought she was going to be a famous athlete. Complete delusion. The actual A1 athlete did become a famous footballer (soccer as I’m British) and she works in a shop.
I was a smart kid but I was more of an outcast in high school. Although I did do a few people’s homework for money. It was free for the two people I liked. Then I got to college (two years post high school and pre university years in the UK) and started doing everyone’s homework/ assignments. I needed to make bank to go travelling. The problem is, the nerds have a point, all the people I helped dropped out of university. The weren’t actually smart enough to hack it without help…oops!

I was the class clown in school. A lot of it is just trying random things and seeing what works and what doesn’t. From a “kid in marching band” myself, that’s spot on. I could never relate to the band kids, and they actually got pissed when I would hang out with other students during lunch. They wanted us to sit in the band room every day during lunch to go over PIT drills or something. I’m still glad I dipped on the homecoming game 😂 I got death threats from it but still totally worth it.
Remember if you think of yourself as a class clown and have a humor based on memes and trends you are not, you are just annoying as hell and people are being polite and just laugh at your dumb unfunny jokes. Some of the special needs students at my school are super seniors. My sister has autism and other generalized intellectual disabilities and she’s a super senior due to the fact she bombed most of her classes during COVID year. Per my states law also kids in the sped program can stay until 21

Trust me, I was a Kid in Band from 4th to 12th grade (trumpet player, Class of 2011, gonna get back into playing soon).The Kids in Band fucking hated the Band Kids because not only would they make us all look bad, their 2007-2011 Era Cringe/Overly Competitive, straight outta GLEE ass antics would make what should be the peak of the day for us into Hell. They would piss off all of our Band Directors and all of them were Chill! Okay, the Junior High one would blow a gasket sometimes but it was rare and he had a damned good reason every time. Duck, a Band Kid to us is what the Gym Class Hero is to the D1 and Regular Athletes. Also, you spoke pure facts about how Seniors/Super Seniors were on that EDP time. Not all of them. Some Super Seniors just needed therapy, some Adderall, and to stop smoking weed for a while but yeah. YEAH. Many kids know me for being part of the school weekly announcements team, while my classmates know me for being very nice, smart, good habits, and being cool. Girls sometimes stare at me too. But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna turn the whole school into my friend. There’s still some kids who sometimes try to get me rekt. And also I really don’t have many friends either, less than 5, and I’m very lonely in school, I rarely see my friends or have conversations with them. No one talks to me just because I don’t have socials. I’m 15 and I’ve NEVER dated before or have had any relationships with girls and I still have my V-card. No one cares to invite me to their house for a play date or get invited to high school parties of any sort. So don’t be discouraged if you're like me and don’t have friends.
