I just returned my polarized because it would limit my use indoors (conferences, restaurants, bars etc). If you drive a lot I could see that being a deciding factor but if you're a city dweller without a car, I think the transition is the way to go.
I live in the US and here you can order the Ray Ban Meta glasses with Xtractive transition lenses. They get darker than standard transition lenses and darken behind the windshield.

Lol I think you’re overreacting a little on the transition , I have the transition lenses also ! But it’s not a big deal tbh haha good video though what they definitely need to fix is the battery life . That’s the BIGGEST con and also landscape view needs to be added also
The battery life is okay, but I do agree that it could be improved. And maybe a square sensor so that they could do both landscape and portrait could be cool

Agreed on the driving. 😢 But overall, having transition lenses, I get 70% more use than my wife just with the Meta Ray-Ban standard shades.

I actually want them clear when driving, because I have a very dark tinted windshield and can't see with any shaded glasses lol
I never get transitions anyways. I always get two separate frames. Is it an extra purchase? Yeah, but the advantage is I have the tint whenever I want

Even though the disadvantages , transitions is the way to go. You won’t be able to use Regular polarized indoors. Unless you wanna look like a douch
