What do you think you could learn from one of the world’s best audiobook narrator? Did you ever think you’d be able to connect on an emotional level with someone that you’re learning from?
    I did.
This interview was one of the biggest honors I could have ever had. I had the chance to sit down on two separate occasions and talk with a true legend.
    Today’s guest is Scott Brick.
    In this episode you’ll hear:
How you can implement 8 ways of emphasis in narration
How you blend truth and technique
The personal beliefs and thought-process Scott puts into audiobook narrating
So, sit back and enjoy my conversation with Scott Brick.

I cannot imagine how mere mortals (Libravox amateurs) can record an audiobook after listening to Scott.

You might seek out William Roberts. He has a bit of a similar vibe.

I just started to listen to Scot narration cause he took over Dick Hill who narrated Jack Reacher’s book one of fav; but unfortunately passed away last yr, also George Guidall is amazing as well

I wanted to let you know that the TH-cam algorithm suggested your show to me and I had no idea how much I would adore this interview when I tuned in. Congratulations and thank you for having this thoughtful and in depth discussion. I also couldn't help but overhear that you two are in a club I am also an unfortunate member of. I'm sorry to hear it, but this interview and the body of work it's tied to are hugely inspirational to me and I thank you for making a show like this.

@@thehomeaudioproject I truly appreciate it. My Dad always wanted to work with his voice but he didn't know where to begin. He always advocated for me to be creative with mine so information like this is invaluable. Again, thank you.

I don’t get it. He ruins book series for me.

Scott Brick is one of the worst narrators. It baffles me that he gets to narrate so many books. Award winning? Wtf?! He's over dramatizing every single word. He should be forbidden to read any more books.
