Jol'rael is sweet! Great video! Karakas might be a great addition to protect the 3 legends, also helps fight opposing legends, and is easier to find with loam.
Yes - I love Karakas. It's hard to fit into the deck with all the wastelands and Sowing Mycospawns going around but I hope to feature Karakas in another control list soon.
If you submit your deck with 61 cards or sideboard wrong in any way, you can still change it before the game starts. Just remove the card you don't want then press submit again. As long as you catch the error before your opponent submits, MTGO allows this change.
Thanks for the feedback. I MAY play Standstill but it feels like one of those decks I'm going to 0-5 with lol. There are a few people who do well with it and everyone else gets destroyed, and I'd probably be in the latter. But I may try :)
FYI it's not your connection, everyone (players, content creators, etc) been complaining about the lag the past month and it's been worse since New Years. DBG doesn't seem to listen to players but they do seem to respect content creators heavily, i'd suggest you, Bosh, etc all reach out to your DBG community CC manager and squeaky wheel. Edit: Scratch that, I thought you got into the CC program late last year but doesn't appear so :(
Yeah, I was doing a cube draft the other day and it lagged so hard I missed three rounds in a row where it froze up and just auto drafted for me. I missed out on three cards that were perfect for my deck because of it. I was so annoyed.
@@mr2fella Just watch other creators. I heard Bosh, Phil, DredgeGuy, ImActuallyLevel1, etc all complain about it in air as so players in match if you talk to them. It's been complained about directly to DBG as well both in bug reports and on their official MTGO forum yet they aren't doing shit about it. Hasbro was never responsive either usually, at least not publicly, but at least they would notice and fix lag problems after a week or so whereas DBG doesn't seem to really want to support the game beyond marketing (i.e. new flashy UI bling that sells new players, not boring stuff like 'is the game playable"
15:20 you could have fetched a tundra - the Yavimaya on the opponents side meant that all lands could tap for green.
Also could have tapped the fetch for green and saved the decision for a turn, I thought that was what you were going for when you tapped for Blue
@@deskbot000yes, I also think that should be the correct play. There was no need to fetch at that point
Yes - thanks for catching this. I forgot my opponent's Yavimaya was essentially making all my Tundras into tri lands :)

Thanks. Yes - I've been able to do that in the past. Sometimes your opponent has already submitted so you won't be able to make an update.
Just fyi. Jolrael is not new. I played her in Snoko du ring the pandemic. Cool to see her being featured though
I guess she's new to me. I'm glad to hear she's been getting played for a few years in midrange shells :)
Jolrael is the shit, even better with sylvan library
Yeah seems like a nice compact creature engine.
Why no field of the dead?
Field of the Dead is a good card but I don't think it's a good card in control decks - just in lands decks. It's pretty slow and arguably "win more".
Standstill or bug midrange 😊

Can you point me to some examples of the complaints? Have had a tough time the last few days.

Applications for the creator program are currently closed but I check like every day and will apply ASAP :)
