As someone with experience with drugs I'll just note that coke is one of the drugs that's not super dangerous. Like obviously drugs have side effects. I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is like on a scale it's not that high. Like fentanyl is one of the most dangerous because it's dosages are in micrograms when generally majority of drugs are milligrams, opiates in general are very dangerous especially if you have no tolerance. Stimulants can be dangerous in certain ways like if you aren't sleeping enough or eating enough or have pre existing conditions. Surprisingly enough alcohol can be up there in regards to how dangerous the withdrawals are as it's one of the only two that can cause death as a result of withdrawal. Bezodiazapines is the second one that can actually cause death from withdrawal.
Im pretty sure coke withdrawals aren't deadly. Getting addicted to it in the first place is definitely a skill issue, though. Weirdo should get better at using drugs who tf gets hooked on coke

Might be easy to say at a first glance that saying its potentially lethal because of morbidity is cheating, since its not a very direct method of lethality, but death through compulsive behavior is, if chemically induced, still a form of toxicity, and one of the more horrifying ones if you think about it --- since you'll *know* you are about to die. Morbidity is peculiar because if its strong enough, it can make you feel discomfort even at the thought of *not having morbidity.* I experienced this specifically when I had COVID --- for some reason, me and most of my family members had a few days of what we later realized was morbidity, where we felt just awful not just physically but emotionally. As for getting hooked on coke, I think a lot of the people who get hooked on it get hooked in their teenage years, long before someone who is willing to use drugs will have developed the sense to *at least* be picky about which kinds. (For some reason people who come into money seem to get into it? My father knew someone who made a bunch of money on crypto because he was an early adopter, and the guy got into all kinds of drugs, including cocaine.) Also, that one joey makes a good point. If Keffals' supply has been "spiked" with something, who the fuck knows what she went through. Someone I was friends with once had an acid trip because someone they trusted got them weed that had acid put in it and had a really horrible trip. Most drugs WILL NOT be lethal to withdrawal from. The only ones that do, is alcohol and benzos like Xanax, because when the body is so used to be depressed/"turned down" that the immediate return to a normal state can be so stimulating, its a seizure risk. So keffals is either lying about what drugs he's taking, or calling alcohol drugs to make it sound worse, or just trying to make the situation more empathy drawing for him.

Might be easy to say at a first glance that saying its potentially lethal because of morbidity is cheating, since its not a very direct method of lethality, but death through compulsive behavior is, if chemically induced, still a form of toxicity, and one of the more horrifying ones if you think about it --- since you'll *know* you are about to die. Morbidity is peculiar because if its strong enough, it can make you feel discomfort even at the thought of *not having morbidity.* I experienced this specifically when I had COVID --- for some reason, me and most of my family members had a few days of what we later realized was morbidity, where we felt just awful not just physically but emotionally. And yeah, it was like... everything sucked, you didn't want to think about anything, if it was bright you hated the light and wished it was dark, but then when you were in the dark, it just felt gross and sickly in some sense and you wanted the darkness to go away, too.
As for how cocaine causes depression, Cocaine is a stimulant and, specifically, a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It prevents your body from eliminating serotonin from your system. (Serotonin regulates overall brain activity and helps provide motivation and keeps your mood generally up.) Since the brain tries to dynamically tweak how sensitive you are to serotonin as your levels go up or down, but there's a bit of a delay, serotonin reuptake inhibitors cause depression as a withdrawal.
As for getting hooked on coke, I think a lot of the people who get hooked on it get hooked in their teenage years, long before someone who is willing to use drugs will have developed the sense to *at least* be picky about which kinds. (For some reason people who come into money seem to get into it? My father knew someone who made a bunch of money on crypto because he was an early adopter, and the guy got into all kinds of drugs, including cocaine.)

The only ones that do, is alcohol and benzos like Xanax, because when the body is so used to be depressed/"turned down" that the immediate return to a normal state can be so stimulating, its a seizure risk.
