That Mausoleum was lively, it looked like one of the coffins at the back was tilted onto another one and there were two in the front one on top of each other. I loved the stain glass windows, especially the Wexford Matres. Thank you again Sue you go above and beyond to make us happy. 💕🇦🇺
Hey Sue, another great video! The church was awesome, it was great getting views from both downstairs and then upstairs. The mausoleum was fantastic. You did a great job balancing the torch n camera to allow us a good view inside. It was interestingcto see how the coffins were aranged, i think of those laid to rest here, and the life n times they led. The architectural layout of the mausoleum was impressive too. I give you lots of credit going down those steps to investigate - curiousity! :)

Hey Sue, just a quick item, i stopped in a cemetery today Id never been in before. Quite a few very old graves, with names i couldnt make out. Then i saw a single grave apart from the others, a larger newer gravestone, finely detailed along with a photo of a young man. The dates. 1997-2015, he did not make it to 20. Resting quietly under the shade of a single tree. Makes me think of the awesome job youre doing now, taking us along with you and bringing atention to all those laid to rest (and saying their names whenever possible)! Thanks again!

This was remarkable.I think you will find six or seven at the back and two at the front. In the bottom of the Mausoleum.I should imagine the top layer at the front has the original family members.If they had a coat of Arms I would think they were Gentry .Not necessarily high society but landed and entitled to their coat of Arms by going by the date.The Church was neat and tidy ,and well looked after too ,apart from the one wall upstairs or going upstairs.It’s nice to still see the old church benches .So many have gone to single chairs now.Thank you for the adventure..Love n Light 🥰

Those holes in the door of the mausoleum provided a very convenient access point for your camera and torch. I wonder why ventilation holes are needed in the door of a mausoleum when its inhabitants no longer need to breathe! --- Another excellent video! The interior of that church is beautiful.
Thanks John, I think most have them, some since blocked up, I think it was vents, if not in the doors you'll find them in the walls, or I've even seen pipes, I think some was to release the smell but don't quote me, ❤️

Hi Jade it think I captured a few, many 5 or 6 coffins, all stacked on too of each other, I was amazed to see them, I'm lucky that I've found a few on my travels, the mckenna Castle one I found 2 almost could touch them
So this was cool, and unusual. A mausoleum with a basement? Or an underground mausoleum with a second floor? Is this structure common in Ireland? Was the top floor only a chapel, or were bodies interred there also? Too bad there wasn't a way to get a better look at the stained glass.
I lived in a red brick house in Ohio, that used to be a church in the 1850s. It looked pretty similar to that church. Around the time of Samhein, could you shoot a video of Fairy Mounds?
Wow I think there was about 6 coffins the ones at the back looked really old, also in holy Cross parish church in Belfast we nearly have the exact altar to the one in that chapel 😊
Well there is a story alright about a priest, he committed suicide after he was accused of sexual abuse, now he was to have his funeral mass there but the locals kicked up and it wasn't allowed, his funeral was somewhere else, not sure of full story, so I'm not entirely sure if he was priest for this village, so you got an uneasy felling for a reason 🤔❤️🇮🇪🍀
