Just heard this for the first time tonite and had to find it/favorite it. Texas talent after SRV, so refreshing. Hellacious left handed guit/singer. hope they're still playin!
This band not making it and staying around was like a DEATH in the family. The band was that good and they came and went in the span of a year or so. This was one of the best bands that never stayed together, like the lineup of Deep Purple that produced Machine Head.
Doyle does not play with guitar set-up like Hendrix. As a lefty Jimi did often play a right handed guitar but he re-strung the strings right side up for a lefty. Doyle plays a regular left handed guitar but has it strung upside down. Albert King played with his strings upside down as well.
Not trying to be rude, but its common that people think Hendrix just flipped a right handed strat over. He did flip the strat over, but he put the strings in the normal position for a left handed guitar. He could have just used a left handed guitar, but supposedly liked the knobs and switch on top. Bramhall plays with his strings opposite of that, which is like what Albert King used to do with the high-E on top of the neck. Still, very interesting.
@@YoURARuSsIANBoT Honestly I'm a little surprised he can still play. Not a knock on Tommy I love his playing, he's just a well worn guy and no spring chicken. He looks pretty shaky in some of the more recent stuff I've seen here and there. Makes me sad. Those guys should be immortal.
Then it wasn't really a reunion. Jeez and I thought I had glossed over something really important. It's great that three of four got together but sad that Tommy wasn't there.
I was wondering why he played that way and how hard it must have been to do until I saw Albert King and SRV jamming and than I made the connection.he hung out with those dudes as a kid.he actually started out on drums then switched to guitar.
I know that artists get tired of playing their old stuff but it never gets old to us. Love these guys and their music.
Saw them in ‘92..........listened to this album night & day.........
I’ll be listening to that first album till I’m dead and gone, and hopefully after that ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Favorite!!

He is right handed but plays left handed
I had this CD, great album. My band from the 90's got their name from one of their lyrics on Spanish Moon.
Is it "Laughing At You"? : )
Bring back band for another album!!!😁
I was there! Up close! Amazing to say the least!
I've talked to Doyle several times, he is like KWS carrying that srv torch
Talented Doyle
Doyle - Doyle - Doyle..So good I leak everytime
You pee yourself? That's a shame mate. : )
Charlie Sexton is so cool... Mystic Knights Under The Sea.... Dylan's #1 axe. These videos I think he is playing Tony Zemetikis custom LP's.

Well... you can spread the word that there were Angels on Earth.
Amen Brother! Amen. Preach it brother Artie.
Great Video!
The title should be "Sent By Angels" though.
There gonna fix it Bubba. Give them time. What is 7 years anyway? Meanwhile best to hold your breath until they do. : )

Tommy Shannon did not reunite with them afterall. This bass players name is Mark Newmark.
Thats what I was thinking. Tommy kinda has kept it low down after he left Arc Angels. He plays in his band around Austin Texas but thats about it.

Sure looks like it to me.

That does not look like Tommy Shannon.
No, I don't think it was.
Doyle seems to be angry.. look... 01.33 min
Don't do drugs kids!
Call me an idiot, but I never noticed that Bramhall11 played the guitar "Jimmie Hendrix" style till I watched this video.
You EEEDIOT.
He’s left handed but unlike Hendrix Doyle has strings upside down (like Album King 👑 did) Hendrix had his strings strung normally not upside down 🤓
Sent by angels.
Not send by angels..
Doyle's voice seems a bit rough on this performance..might have been really tired..
