Oud can be a bit of a shock to the system if you're not expecting it though, and aren't familiar with it. So I can understand why someone might be put off by it at first.
I love Apollonia just as it is. It soothes the person who wears it. I love it on a rainy day or after an evening shower. It is perfect. I also love Shun Koin, different in a similar way.
Apollonia is a great fragrance and perfectly unisex and I love it one myself or my wife, whom I gave it to after owning it 2 years. I love it and can't see how anyone would not like it. If you are a man and wear Prada Homme, this is an upgrade! The only thing that made me give the bottle to my wife is that I came across Roja Turandot, another Iris fragrance but more complex with cranberry and pencil lead over a bed of iris. My wife loves Apollonia and made it her signature scent. I am so happy because I love smelling its on her!
Never ever will a bottle of 4711 Eau de Cologne cross my German threshold. It reminds me of dark times, when nothing else was available and you had a bottle of it in your glove compartment in case the car broke down and there was no water to wash your hands. They can put pineapple or other fancy things in it, it`s still the typical 4711 scent. Thanks for your fun videos!
I tried ombré Nomade at the mall early into my fragrance journey and I wasn’t ready for it. That day I ended up walking out with Tom Ford’s tobacco vanille. As I’ve developed my nose I think if I walked into the mall today owning neither fragrance, Ombré Nomade is what I’d end up walking out with. It’s truly amazing (though I do love tobacco vanille)
I agree with you 100 percent on Apollonia, I would like to add to that it’s a great scent and what it’s trying to capture it does it perfectly, it really feels and smells like the moon and what its atmosphere would feel like , it has a cooling grey vibe that’s so dope . I think it’s really nice but sadly it’s not loud but it will surprise you if you spray a lot I’m talking a lot though so it can get kinda loud if you desire to make it loud.
You know, I kind of extracted an indirect compliment for myself out of this. When you referred to a possible "newbie." And I realized that, about two years into this, my tastes and experience have definitely evolved past total newbie. Nothing (ever) like as experienced as you, but very much thanks to you I've learned to appreciate some slightly "challenging" fragrances, some peculiar niche things probably not "crowd-pleasing," etc. It was a nice realization. By the way, something from Zoologist I very much liked (had a sample) and never hear much talk about is Seahorse.
That band-aid smell occurs in red wine as well. It is caused by a set of chemicals known as ethyl-phenols which only occur in red wine and are produced by a yeast called Brettanomyces bruxellensis. Affectionately known as “Brett”, these aromas can enhance a wine in mild form but quickly become unpleasant in larger concentrations.
Apollonia is one of the most unique from Xerjoff. And one of the best from this brand. It is buttery metallic iris. Does anyone knows anything like that in other houses? Also it is great that it does not project much… it is hidden gem for me….
Ombre Nomade is so good. I have over 365 bottles in my collection and like to rotate through my collection so using a bottle once a year is not uncommon for me. When I bought this I wore it for 5 days straight which is extremely rare. I think it may be newbies that aren’t ready for this yet but everyone has different taste also. Agree that person comes across as new given the cologne comment.
As a child, patchouli was the stuff of nightmares for me. I had a very strong sense of smell and it was just way too loud and overwhelming for me. My brother’s gf used to wear Angel and I thought it was horrid. I still dislike patchouli but my reaction is not quite as strong.
I don't hate any fragrances that I know of. Some I won't wear because of so many better options. But what could cause me some disappointment is the price, the hype, expectations... often many thing can help me like or be disappointed by fragrances. Nostalgia, who gifted, who recommended... Patchouli is so good. I absolutely love it and can't get enough. What a blessing
I absolutely LOVE Cruz del sur ll !!! Is amazing and beast mode fragrance on me, the most amazing mango- guava- milky combination! ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE LOVE LOVE Your videos Sebastian! Thank you for sharing with us your knowledge about the beautiful world of fragrances! ❤
You are correct about Red Tobacco smelling like Carlisle. I own both of them. Red Tobacco is stronger but when it calms down it smells great on me at least.
I love ombre nomade, but some my friends is hate it when i wearing ombre 😅 i understand if they dont like it, but i dont care with them, i wearing bcoz i love it 😍
I don't love patchouli on its own but it is a great carrier for other notes. Of the perfumes I have tried: hated Trussardi My Name - 200 year old Johnson's Baby Oil; Narciso For Her EDT - 1950s hairspray; Roja Dove A Midsummer Dream - Irish Spring squared.
Ombre Nomade is a gorgeous fragrance! I'm waiting to save up and buy that by the end of the year. Can't wait to wear it this winter. Red Tobacco is the strongest fragrance I've ever smelled. I think that it's a good building scent. It gives me thoughts of an old library in a monastery or an old cathedral.
Man, Red Tobacco is one of my absolute favorites, like a forever frag for me. Unless something changes drastically, I will always have a bottle of RT, until I die. I've got a sample of Followed (and a few other Kerosene frags) coming this week. I'm so excited to finally smell it!
My friend made me try his Red Tobacco yesterday, i hated the opening but when it dried down it smelled really good, but i still couldn’t bring myself to 100% like it, there just was a note in it that made my nose uncomfortable and made it smell like medecine.
if you like red tobacco, a good way to push you into new perfumery would be sampling some of the most popular niche versions of that dna. i would recommend trying carolina herrera mystery tobacco, parfums de marly carlisle, tiziana terenzi arrakis and, my personal favorite, argos thriumph of baccus
I was reading Chandler Burr recently (The Emperor of Scent and The Perfect Scent) and your video reminded me of something he said about perfumers believing there is no such thing as a bad smell. That said, you are are showing, and the comments below demonstrates, everyone has their own preferences.
I like Baccarat Rouge, don’t love it because it’s definitely an acquired taste. However, I hated smelling it (or one of its clones) on a guy at the gym, you could not pick a worse environment to wear something like BR.
100% spot on! But unfortunately majority of people wear the tacky clones it smells awful🤢 but when you get a whiff of someone in London wearing the real deal it’s a beautiful scent
The problem with Red tobacco isn't that it's too strong or over bearing. It's because it smells to me overly synthetic in an obnoxious way. I couldn't complete checking out my Mancera box set because they smelled like synthetic chemical sludge.
My most disliked fragrances are Ganymede, Instant Crush and BR540. They all smell so synthetic and screechy to me. Your new studio set is awesome. The audio is so much better! Thanks for the great videos
I bought a 8ml pocket size of Mancera Red Tobacco. First application was outrageous haven't tried it again. When I get a fragrance that's overwhelming like this one, I'll spray it on before shower. It has been a solution in the past. Lattafa puts out their version of Ombre Nomade from their Privee Couture Collection.
I actually liked Gris Dior a lot but my skin ATE it. I sprayed myself liberally but it was gone in almost a flash. So disappointing, but I have freaky skin chemistry, I swear. 😂
The same thing happens to me with Gris Dior. It is too expensive to spray on and have it immediately disappear. I’m not becoming anosmic to it, because no one else can smell it on me.
I absolutely CANNOT STAND “El Cosmico” by DS&DUGRA. It’s sour, moth ball-y, and acrid. It seriously reminds me of vomit and It’s so strong too! I made the mistake of putting it in the sample jar I have in my guest bathroom - for friends to try and take - and it completely ruined my friend’s evening when she sprayed it on herself thinking it was going to be a space themed scent. It completely stunk up my entire house with its putrid bile odor and my friend had to stay outside on the patio for the rest of the night. I threw the sample out immediately after everyone left. 😅
I thought I'd never say for a fragrance that I hate it but I faced with two which fall into this category: 1. Amouage - Royal Tobacco 2. Xerjoff - Ceylon maybe the Licorice or the Birch Tar in Royal Tobacco or what has common in common in both fragrances: the barnyard-y oud...
Red Tobacco nearly killed the Mancera line for me. Then Hindu Kush, Saharian Wind and Vetiver Sensuel brought me back. I layer Hindu Kush with a couple sprays of Mugler's Fly Away in summer. Love it!
I am a fragrance newbie. I bought samples to try things out. Now, I have a plan. I tried TF’s Ombré Leather. Not for me. Someone on Fragnatica said it smells like a cobbler’s shop on a summer day. I agree.😆. That stuff is so potent and hard to remove from skin. Zoologist’s Tyrannosaurs Rex starts smelling like camphor (think old school Campho Phenique), then smells like a campfire. Not for me. My daughter has banned me from wearing Zoologist’s Elephant if she’s home.😆. Byredo Sundazed is not for me. It smells like orange cotton candy. The only scents I can wear from Kayali are Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 and Eden Juicy Apple 01. (I haven’t tried the new pistachio perfume, so I don’t know if I can wear it.) I understand the patchouli comment. Sometimes it’s beautiful. When it’s not beautiful,🤮. BTW, we newbies can be adventurous, too.
Baccarat was my first $$$niche fragrance and I fell in love but I hate most baccarat dupes especially Burberry Her. I only get the synthetic strawberry note that makes feel sick and reminds me of something from childhood lol. To me my favorite baccarat dupe is (especially if I wanna be able to smell myself) Amber oud Rouge by Al Haramain. I love that it has a bit more body to it when I'm feeling bossy lol.
I can totally get why someone might not gel with a fragrance. Or build a bad scent memory. I can think of some that I would rather avoid due to certain notes that I don't prefer. My bizarre ones were hating tabacco vanille the first time I smelt it and interlude, these are now scents I can't not be without! Very odd that you can have polar opposite reactions to fragrances that you then come to love
I love BR540. The first few times I tried my sample I really didn’t get it. It smelled like something was missing. Didn’t come across as sweet at all. Eventually it clicked for me, and I plan to buy a bottle later this year. I have a sample of the Extrait which I’m not sure about. It ups the latex smell and has a weird peppery note to me. It takes a long time to develop into something I enjoy. We’ll see. I blind bought Bvlgari Aqva Marine since it was cheap and people kept recommending it. I’ll test it a few more times but I’m not digging the seaweed smell.
I have a 10ml decant of Red Tobacco. The first time I sprayed it, l barely managed to resist the urge to wash it off. After a while, (a long while😂) I liked what was left on the skin. I tried it again a few months later, and the experience was better, but will never be a favorite. I will continue to try it. On the other hand, Side Effect by Initio was a scrubber! I couldn't get it off me fast enough! I don't think my nose will ever mature enough to wear this! Baccarat Rouge 540......I can't smell it after one minute. In fact, the only thing I DO smell, is a slight body odor smell.........😮 I'm a relative newbie, so that might account for my experiences.....
Very true on Bergamote 22, it does not last long but it smells so juicy and fresh. I can recommend Rosendo Mateu 1 for that same Bergamot sparkle but longer lasting. At least on me.
I had Appolonia because i loved it, but when wearing it, it was 99% Narciso Rodriguez for her to my nose and as you said a skin skin with no projection at all so i decluttered it because i felt it is too expensive for what it is and with its 50 ml size
Ohh man! Cruz del sur II is in my top 5 of all time!! Especially in the gourmond category! The overly ripe mango note mixed with the warm milky vibe was a love at first sniff for me. Honestly I don’t know why! It captivated me at first sniff. -- On a side note, one of my most hated frags is F**cking Fabulous by TF, I don’t know why anyone wants to smell like baby diapers!
I agree with u about F Fabulous. It’s a nasty smelling fragrance. I think ppl pretend to like it coz of the name and the hype around it . Coz it’s really bad
Funny I found this video today 😅 because today I received some samples and one I really hated 😥 it’s Mancera’s Precious Oud. I do enjoy oud, but here it the kind of oud pared with leather I can’t stand. Smells like the cow’s barn of my grandpa when he was cleaning it 🤢 I tried to give the fragrance some time to see what it will become, but my stomach couldn’t stand it anymore and I had to wash it off 😩
I was waiting for my trigger on this video & the comment on Pasha de Cartier Parfum is the one. I would urge the person who commented that the dry down was one of the worst they ever had…to try it - again, especially if they are in a bitter cold climate. I too did not like it on my first wear. I was going to sell it, but when I tried it again in the dead of winter, I fell in love. The dry down was a warm & beautiful incense-like spicy woody scent. Blew my mind & so thankful I kept it. It changed my mind on how many opportunities I will give to a fragrance. You never know when you’re ready to really appreciate it’s charms.
I bought Bat because I liked the art work of the bat on the bottle. Yes not an educated nose decision. But the more I wear it the more I like it. But only after the dry down
@@catnip4587 One of my friends from college gave me the nickname T-Rexy. I bought Zoologist’s T-Rex perfume for that reason. I thought it was funny. I had a hunch I wasn’t going to like it. I sprayed it. “Camphor? Why does it smell like bug bite medication?” I wasn’t expecting that note. “Campfire? How do they make it smell like a campfire? Did they use Liquid Smoke?” I kept smelling it and laughing because a dinosaur perfume that smells like a campfire is funny, to me. I wasn’t laughing when I tried to scrub it off though. I haven’t gotten rid of it. I have no idea what I’ll do with it. I’m glad I got the sample bottle and not a full bottle.
About APOLLONIA I'm in the middle. It's so subdue though I don't know how you could ever possibly attribute the word HATE to it; that's relatively wild. Hate should be reserved more for the harshly synthetic fragrances like Erba Pura. When I got my sample of Apollonia I just sort of shrugged and thought "Another powdery one... unexciting". Didn't help that I got it in the same sample pack as Pikova Dama and Ivory Route which all felt in the same vein of powdery and a bit boring.
Hi, Sebastian!!! I hate Maison Margiela’s Springtime in the Park (smells to me exactly like baby puke if the baby has eaten strawberry yogurt) and Etat Libre d’Orange’s I’m Trash (this one reminds me of an used baby diaper). Sorry for being so specific 😅😅😅 And I can’t stand lactonic notes if they are very predominant, I don’t like milk or the smell of it either, so probably that’s why 😉
Wow! I'm only a few seconds into this, but I've checked out your list in the description, and, wow again, there are soooo many you've said so often that you just love wildly. I'm really interested to watch and see how you interact with these different opinions! 😄
I really disliked bat too. I sprayed it on a paper strip and left it on my bathroom counter. When I walked back into the room about an hour later I thought th drains had backed up but then discovered that the smell was actually coming from the paper strip. BTW I’ve been in a cave where thousands of bats spend the winter it smelled a lot better than this perfume.
You might like the original then. I've tried both and much prefer it. It goes by "Night Flyer" from Olympic Orchids. To me, it smells like you just walked into a bat cave (I've been in a few).
Awesome video! Thanks! About Baccarat, i cannot smell it on me at all! but then i gave it to my wife and it smells amazing on her and i can smell it. So odd!
I expected a lot of Apollonia. But when I received the sample, I was disappointed. I love skin like fragrance like another 13, JM sea salt and sage, musk therapy, guidance... but I could not get anything out of Apollonia. I can barely smell it on me. I sprayed it all over my body and still could not smell anything. It smell nice but no projection and longevity on me.
Ombré Nomade is AMAZING!!! you have to let it macirate. I got a sample of it and when I first sprayed it I was put off, but when I went back after a few weeks… so good. Also LV does this thing where they ask you choose the complimentary samples you want then turn around and send you something completely different. That’s how I ended up with ON sample instead of contre moi 😫
About BR540 edp, I like the scent of it but I HATE the fact that I can barely smell it. I don’t understand how people say this fragrance is potent and that projects a lot because I physically cannot smell this :(
@@ThePerfumeGuy I haven’t had anosmia with other fragrance yet, but you’re right! Maybe there are notes in it that I can’t smell. What are some perfumes that give you anosmia?? I’m curious :)
Habit Rouge Rouge Priva by Guerlain smells like the inside of my grandmother's leather purse. She always carried Teaberry gum, makeup and a spray bottle of some nauseating French parfum. I have totally agreed with your sniffer up until my flashback. I will say, thanks for the memories suggestion. I adored her dearly.
I do love Apollonia, beautiful powdery musky scent. In the other hand I just HATE Hindu Kush... so overwhelming loud on my skin. I just bathe thrice to take that away... I even tought in just chop my arm out. :)
I love Apollonia, it’s kind of fresh and cozy for me, however, I do get a headache from Cruz de sur II even though I like the smell, just headache inducing.
😂an ex colleague once said”pessimists are happier people as 99% of the time they are proven right and on that rare 1% , they are pleasantly surprised” . Always loved that 😂
Apollonia initially is a bit of nothing at the beginning, however it did dry down to a very pretty, feminine musk(body shop white musky),I always bring samples for my colleagues to try; so have more people’s opinion. I do like it, I adore the Xerjoff bottles. I won’t buy as I have similar musks. Chanel 5 ends up like fly spray on my skin😭. I love it on everyone else though.I’m a Coco Noir girl and thanks to you have fallen head over heels with Le Leon ❤️ and Cuir de Russie ,after going in to try. I own and love Xerjoff’s Richwood and Tony Iommi, Musc Ravageur, Le Labo Labdanum. I do enjoy BR540 red bottle more. Ouds more often than not smell faecal like to my nose, so not much fun but the Tahitian Oud in Oud Satin Mood, is awesome🤷🏻♀️
Hey sebastian do you have your top 10 personal fragrances video? The 10 you like the most and i want to know whag your #1 fragrance is. Ik its hard having a lot but i think you could have one
Bergamote 22 was my signature while I still had the bottle. I found it worked well in hot and in cold and was one I'd get a lot of compliments on, even at the end of the day when I couldn't smell it anymore personally. Chanel 19 is one a family member wears and it smells incredible and fresh in her, not old lady at all.
Yeah, your comments on Red Tobacco are right on. I like the way it smells fine, but it's like 10x stronger than any fragrance needs to be. 1 spray can choke out a whole room. Just headache inducing.
For me the worst frag I’ve ever tried was Pierre guliame coze. That hemp not with the patchouli nearly made my run away from myself. For me it’s too dank and I literally felt like I’d piss hot on a drug test. Lol. Have a great day
So glad that I'm not the only one who can't fully embrace Cruz del Sur II. I live in a hot humid place and it turns so weirdly lactonic and sour. Picked up a sample because i noticed it was so hyped up by the frag community
My most hated fragrance will be Chanel's (Platinum) Egoist, I can best describe it as the smell of a heavily used ashtray, but the ashtray is carved from those toilet stones which are thrown in those public pee sinks at festivals... so imagine the smell of cigarettes and sun dried urine, that's Platinum Egoist.
GREAT video! Thanks Sebastian. Agree about Hindu Kush…my newest “fave” fragrance thanks to watching your videos. When I was in college, Chanel 19 EDP was my “go to”, and still love it. When I started working, and for almost 30 years, First by Van Clef & Arpels EDP. Both well crafted classics. Red Tobacco is an absolute HATE. Saffron / coconut notes WAY too overwhelming for me. After a 3 hr dry down, it is “tolerable” but would never purchase. Patchouli you ask? LOVE LOVE LOVE Patchouli! I’m a total “patch ho”, with Jovoy Psychedelic being my absolute favorite. LOVE opening with citrus, followed by minty green/ earthy notes, and ending with the chocolate cake notes….It’s a walk in a damp, green forest, followed by a luscious dessert. An incredible feat of perfumery. Looking for a green floral fragrance that is not too powdery, has longevity (I’m a one spritz and done type of girl). No luck as of yet. Suggestions (from Sebastian and the group) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Imma be honest, I have a strong love hate relationship with Aqva Amara by Bvlgari. Specifically, the floral aspect of it-the florals blend well with the orange, but not with the aqua marine notes. Maybe it’s those the florals & the orange notes, all three, that do not mix well together. I can wear it while loving it and be wanting to wash it off all at once
Your reactions had me laughing out loud several times! Ah, a good laugh is like a instant vacation!🤣🤣 I have Hindu Kush which I adore and of course Psycdelic both worth tracking the scents down. The others I don't own, so neutral opinion 💙💙
I bought Baccarat 540 9 months ago and it lost it's longevity (baerly lasts 2 hours) despite being stored correctly. I reached out to MFK and was slammed down that it is not possible to scientifically prove that it doesnt last as long as it did. Just the condescending tone of their customer service put the Baccarat on my disliked list 😄
Cruz Del Sur II, Bergamote 22 I love. Although, Bergamote doesn’t last very long, you have to add some to it to help it out but it’s an awesome scent. The dry down of Cruz is what I like as well. Very nice. If you want a layer depending on skin, try Italica and Cruz del Sur II 😁
I live in the tropics. My hubby associated By the Fireplace with those been gigolos who peaked in the 1970's. LOL!!! We prefer aquatics and citrus here because of the intense heat and humidity
Definetely surprised by ombré nomade is so good. When I smell it on others I find myself following them out the store the scent lingers and smells so delicous.
A hate for me is Santal Complet by FDB. I blind bought it after seeing a rave review by a famous TH-camr in the fragrance community. I thought I would love it because I love sandalwood and coconut but it smells almost medicinal and lasts maybe 1 or 2 hours for $350 😬 really wish I hadn’t blind bought it.
Oh no I like that one myself. But I can see sandalwood smelling medicinal. I get medicinal from sandalwood sometimes. Not from that though. Go figure noses are strange! :)
I don’t know what it is with Montale but a lot of people around me are raving about it.. Most of them are way too thick and intense for my taste, especially Arabians Tonka, it totally lacks refinement..

I couldn't complete checking out my Mancera box set because they smelled like synthetic chemical sludge.
but the dry down on red tobacco is worth all that lol
My most disliked fragrances are Ganymede, Instant Crush and BR540. They all smell so synthetic and screechy to me. Your new studio set is awesome. The audio is so much better! Thanks for the great videos
I bought a 8ml pocket size of Mancera Red Tobacco. First application was outrageous haven't tried it again. When I get a fragrance that's overwhelming like this one, I'll spray it on before shower. It has been a solution in the past. Lattafa puts out their version of Ombre Nomade from their Privee Couture Collection.
really refreshing type of content, not so different, but potentially guides you around less favorable product
OMG! I was so interested in that one, I mean, the name got me😂 Thank you!
I thought I'd never say for a fragrance that I hate it but I faced with two which fall into this category:
1. Amouage - Royal Tobacco
2. Xerjoff - Ceylon
maybe the Licorice or the Birch Tar in Royal Tobacco or what has common in common in both fragrances: the barnyard-y oud...
(I haven’t tried the new pistachio perfume, so I don’t know if I can wear it.)
I understand the patchouli comment. Sometimes it’s beautiful. When it’s not beautiful,🤮.
BTW, we newbies can be adventurous, too.
Your description of the T-Rex fragrance is funny. I’ve never heard of it.
OMG totally! Agreed cobbler’s shop on a summer day describes it well! this one is on top of my Dislike list 🤢
Chanel no19 and the poudre version are fantastic imo ❤
Gorgeous perfume! :)
I was curious to try followed by kerosene,I bought full bottle, and could smell it before I opened package, took some getting used to,but love it now
I recently got to smell Lune Feline by Ateliers des Ors. Such a disappointment. I don't get the hype, AT ALL.
I got Apollonia for my mother for Mother’s Day and she loves it, and trust me, I would know if she didn’t.
In fact, the only thing I DO smell, is a slight body odor smell.........😮
I'm a relative newbie, so that might account for my experiences.....
@@Puddycat00 yeah it’s a mess of a fragrance.
Funny I found this video today 😅 because today I received some samples and one I really hated 😥 it’s Mancera’s Precious Oud. I do enjoy oud, but here it the kind of oud pared with leather I can’t stand. Smells like the cow’s barn of my grandpa when he was cleaning it 🤢 I tried to give the fragrance some time to see what it will become, but my stomach couldn’t stand it anymore and I had to wash it off 😩
Hindu Kush is sooo Good and underrated, i can understand that this is not for everybody, but for me it is one of the best from Mancera
I love the new version of Bat. It's my signature scent. I own Bat, T-rex, Moth and Squid from Zoologist. I love all of them, but Bat is my favorite.
T-Rex smells like a campfire to me. 😆
Did they use Liquid Smoke?”
I kept smelling it and laughing because a dinosaur perfume that smells like a campfire is funny, to me.
Love Red Tobacco the opening is a bit diversive but still in my top 10
Hi, Sebastian!!! I hate Maison Margiela’s Springtime in the Park (smells to me exactly like baby puke if the baby has eaten strawberry yogurt) and Etat Libre d’Orange’s I’m Trash (this one reminds me of an used baby diaper). Sorry for being so specific 😅😅😅
And I can’t stand lactonic notes if they are very predominant, I don’t like milk or the smell of it either, so probably that’s why 😉
Cruz Del Sur II from Xerjoff
smells like stale milk in a baby bottle.😂
Oh I love Chanel 19, especially the Poudre’❤So elegant!
When I first smelled oud wood, I hated it. Then I sprayed it on again a couple months later and loved it.
Professor i brought Amouage Royal Tobacco and sold it one day later and i love Cecile Zurokians work
Just not that one Wonderful video as always🎉🎉🎉🎉
Chanel 19 is amazing. Was my signature scent for forever
I hate chanel no 5.First time i 've tried it i couldnt stop wondering why the hell could a frangrance like this be a classic.
Awesome video! Thanks!
About Baccarat, i cannot smell it on me at all! but then i gave it to my wife and it smells amazing on her and i can smell it. So odd!
All the Replica fragrances I’ve smelled just smell extremely cheap.
I don’t understand how people say this fragrance is potent and that projects a lot because I physically cannot smell this :(
Anosmia is certainly for real. There are notes in it probably you can't smell?
@@ThePerfumeGuy I haven’t had anosmia with other fragrance yet, but you’re right! Maybe there are notes in it that I can’t smell.
What are some perfumes that give you anosmia?? I’m curious :)
Habit Rouge Rouge Priva by Guerlain smells like the inside of my grandmother's leather purse. She always carried Teaberry gum, makeup and a spray bottle of some nauseating French parfum. I have totally agreed with your sniffer up until my flashback. I will say, thanks for the memories suggestion. I adored her dearly.
I loved Teaberry gum back in the day😊😂
@@catnip4587 Me too!
Yeah I’ll definitely agree with you on your take with Ombre Nomad. I love that fragrance. Got it for my birthday and my lawd 😍😍😍😍
I do love Apollonia, beautiful powdery musky scent. In the other hand I just HATE Hindu Kush... so overwhelming loud on my skin. I just bathe thrice to take that away... I even tought in just chop my arm out. :)
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Please, I enjoyed this video format. Do more if you'd like. I will watch these all day.
Patchouli fan! 🌿❤
I do own Apollonia which was made for when they were walking on the moon. I have no fault with Appolonia nor the moon so I am okay with all of it.
Ombre Nomade??? Strangers literally stop me on the street and ask me what I'm wearing
Hacivat on me smells like the smell coming out of a hotdog package when you just open it 😅😂😂😂
I love Apollonia, it’s kind of fresh and cozy for me, however, I do get a headache from Cruz de sur II even though I like the smell, just headache inducing.
I hate being negative, even though I’m a born pessimist, but I really really really hate Gris Charnel and especially the extrait.
Ha
I love Gris Dior together with Oud Ispahan and Tobacolor all from the private collection
Citrus scents are best worn in summer and humid areas. He’s right, if you’re in a dryer area layer layer layer
"Followed"😁 Such an appropriate name for that fragrance. It followed you everywhere you went and stayed there. 😆
Ha yes for sure funny! :)
😅😅😅The Bat review was hilarious
Cruz Del Sur II, Bergamote 22 I love. Although, Bergamote doesn’t last very long, you have to add some to it to help it out but it’s an awesome scent. The dry down of Cruz is what I like as well. Very nice. If you want a layer depending on skin, try Italica and Cruz del Sur II 😁
oh! yes i'm in love with patchouli!
