I'm not a watercolour artist but every time you mention a colour unfamiliar to me, I go buy a tube. Some day ... just in case ... 😊
hi justtubing - some day is TODAY!
@@sandi5276 Thank you for the cheer 🙂
....just gorgeous! Like the work of Georgia O'Keefe
Actually, I like Anna's work better!
I must disagree. The style and execution are completely different.
Hi Anna, how lovely is this tulip flower painting! I love the Carmine colour which I had never seen before.❤Your work is so unique and beautiful! Thank you. Helene
Thank you so much Helene 😊
For "years"... I was painting watercolours with "free strokes", and obtained good, and to good artworks, for my liking, because I did it! But, now that I have "watched" your videos, and after buying some books about "botanical art", I'm convinced, that, I've wasted my years, being so hardheaded, not to "follow" lessons... I now paint in a different manner, and I like it, because, it's so at ease, and it's just "colouring" the blanks...thank you for leading me into it! Thanks for "sharing" your works, and your talent!
Don’t think of it as waste - you’ve practice d and learned to capture other things , color harmony and other fundamentals even though you may not be happy with your specific strokes at the time. Everything you’ve learned will come in handy with your new approach 😊
Wow !!! You're fantastic ! GOD has given you So much talent !!! Awesome !!! Praise GOD !!!!
Anna it looked like you were having so much fun. I am embarrassed to say that I haven’t had the newer Carmine in my palette since it was the older more fugitive one form a palette from the early 50’s if not later 40’s and the color was gorgeous and I find it fascinating that it leans slightly warmer when drying. I looked up the newer testing and found that it drastically faded which was a bummer for me because I always wanted one between my Quin coral and the lovely whether Qors or Sennelier the red Quin or rose Quin. This would be versatile but using our mixing techniques with the lovely selection out there will help. Your techniques are top notch and beautiful Anna. I had been sidelined with another couple forms of media and health but trying to move forward. I have used the Chronos #2. I thought I ordered a #4 but I must have skipped it. I enjoy the blend being familiar with both and there were no complaints. I probably would tend to reach for the brand if I had ordered more. I do wish Escoda would be more cognizant of the price hikes between a 002 and a 2 or 4 round. It becomes counterproductive for those who are so familiar with the crazy price hikes. Not your worry though. Beautiful work and now onto the next projects. Take care and I will say it. Please subscribe and like Anna she is experienced and generous in providing tutorials. I also really feel that she is a caring, knowledgeable instructor that wouldn’t bore one but challenge your mind to understand how to work with wc, it requires a cooperation of give and take to be a good watercolorist. Give her classes a chance if you would like the lowdown on how to make it enjoyable. Thank you again!😊
Stunning.
Your work is so beautiful!!
I’ve been taking photos of the flowers in my garden. I’ll definitely give a close up painting a try. Another valuable and stunning lesson! Thank you 🙏
Enjoy 🌷 I don’t have a garden but my mom has the most beautiful one and I always get a ton of reference images from her 😊😊😊
@@AnnaBucciarelli Oh that’s fun to paint your mom’s flowers! My mom has some beautiful yellow and orange tulips I’ve been talking photos of. I’m excited to try these new techniques on them. 💖
Absolutely beautiful
This is gorgeous!
❤ I love it. What a great idea to just focus on one flower in detail. ❤❤❤
Fabulous observation and tip about reds. Thanks ever so much!
Beautiful work!
Beautiful ! Thank you
This is stunning, Anna❤
Anna, you are my favorite watercolorist by far. You make painting look effortlessly beautiful! Thank you for helping us realize what's within reach if we give ourselves the time to learn. I'm loving this journey of watercolor painting. Your expertise and hands-on instruction amaze me! 💖Blessings!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to try this on a flower. The layering is something I am working on. I tend to overwork the painting so this was great to watch.
So, so beautiful ❤
Gorgeous painting!! Great tips for using reds. I find red a challenge in flower painting and never seem to get those first layers light enough. Thank you for this!
Thank you Renee 💜🌷
Most gorgeous! ❤🌷
WOW!! Great perspective. I can't wait for the Patreon session.

Amazing tutorial! Thank you 🙏🏽
Beautiful
Ahhh soothing breakfast music and watching you paint. I love to paint with this type of composition. Up close and personal with flowers and animals. It feels more like shapes and frees the mind to just enjoy the process. Thanks for the reminder about carmine… I think I have abandoned the tube somewhere… need to dust it off and try it again. 🎉
Hi Anna, I’m so happy to see the new video from you! My roses started to bloom and it a perfect time to try painting them 🌹Thank you!
Wonderful! 🩷 happy spring!
@@AnnaBucciarelli Thank you and happy spring to you too!☀️🌸💞

Youre still the number one...thats beautiful...🙃🦘💙
thank you Denise!!! 😊💕💕💕🌷
Hi Anna, huge fan! Artwork looks incredible. Where can I get that hand glove?
Hi Matt! Thank you so much 😊 this glove without a doubt has changed my life. A very wise man once told me I need to perfect the design and start making my own version at some point. For now, I have included a link in the video description 😎 amzn.to/3GFcojf
Oh, I also find that some warm reds, like cadmium, have a big drying shiy.
Absolutely - this has been my “beef” with cadmium’s in general 😊 I “retired” most of them because I was getting frustrated!
@@AnnaBucciarelli Oh, thanks and apologies for the typo. It should have read "drying shift".
@@joykruczayoh no worries - I understood exactly what you were talking about 😊
🤩💗
Is the Carmine derived from the cochineal beetle?
hi Anna, have you published a book on watercolor? Or maybe planning one? I would love to buy it ❤
Hi Inez - thank you for your question 😊 I’ve been working on a book all year - it’s coming along and I’ll will share more details soon !!!
@@AnnaBucciarelli awesome! 🤩 can’t wait!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Where or how do you make prints of your paintings?
I generally don’t… I tried in the past but it takes too much time 😞 I have a few older ones on my redbubble store 😊
❣🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰
A beautiful painting, is it s tulip or Camilla?
Tulip! 😊💕🌷
@@AnnaBucciarelli that's an amazing tulip. I don't get to see them where I am. It's impressive just like your artwork.
Хочу ещё ваших птиц! ❤ Вы можете сделать новый урок с птицами??? 🙏🙏🙏💋💋💋
Да конечно птицы будут 😊
