Robin: “They got all the details just right.”
Beast Boy: *checks inside the pants. “Speak for yourself.”
Lmao
Lol never noticed that 🤣
Raven: Conceal don't feel
Starfire: Always feel never conceal
Excellent way of putting it 😅😅.
I love the episode "Switched". It was great seeing Starfire and Raven bond for one episode while they switched bodies.
Switched is honestly one of the most iconic episodes of the whole show, it's so good
Wait so it's called switched and even tho they don't say they knew the puppets would be a giveaway what's happening but I didn't so until I saw your comments I realize when the thing is happening from the puppet fight to the transferring happening until raven stops it that I know cause I didn't see the name but your comment it was gonna happen
I was coming to write this exact same sentiment lol
The same thing like Ben 10. When Ben and Gwen switched bodies
Gwen switching bodies with Charmcaster and because of that. She grasped her magic much more closer and easier
And Gwen and Ben switching. Appreciate each other strength and abilities
I loved seeing Raven and Starfire try to get a better understanding of what it means to walk in each others suit since the two have such a sweet sisterly friendship especially since they have such juxtaposing personalities, but ultimately care about each as genuine friends and even surrogate sisters and are willing to look through different perspectives
The ending of that episode was the icing on the cake. It never fails to make me smile
As mentioned by others, the original comics Teen Titans were formed mainly from sidekick characters in 1960. Many of them had a similar naming scheme to Aqualad - take the adult hero's name and modify it to indicate the sidekick was kinda a younger version of that character. The Flash had Kid Flash, Wonder Woman had Wonder Girl, etc. The idea at the time was that teenage superheroes would be more appealing to a teenage audience.
That said, the version of the team in this show is drawing more from the very popular New Teen Titans, a revamp of the team from 1980 which contained more original characters and has since become the standard lineup.
Aqualad is a thing. My favorite version of him is probably in Young Justice, but this show introduced him to me.
Young Justice aqualad is an original character under the mantle. Kinda like Carrie Kelly’s Robin. The aqualad in this show did exist in young justice but he never took up the mantle and just went by Garth. He’s who Tula dated instead of Kaldur.
i like the old comic one, now called Tempest. He's got an interesting set of stuff going on. He's more of a brawler when it comes to fights but he's a descendant of one of the mages that founded atlantis so he's also really good at magic, and since he doesn't care much for it's more common use he combos it with brawling so he has magic laser eyes, shields, control over water and other such things, and knows just enough about the common uses to undo a spell or two every now and then
Statfire probably told everything about herself. Raven might have discussed less than 25 percent about her past. 😂
I find it funny that Starfire and Raven were drooling over Aqualad, but Beast Boy got to run off into the sunset with him.
I love body-swap episodes; they are always so fun. Also, it's very cool how both Starfire and Raven's powers are based on emotion, but one is about controlling them very tidly, while the other is about freely expressing them.
Also, I think they actually nerfed Aqualad here since in the comics he can also use hydrokenesis, which is basically like waterbending.
Really? I've never once seen a body-swap episode that I found enjoyable.
@@augustrempelewert4377watch justice league unlimited
Raven and Starfire definitely have more interesting lore than the guys do
That's true. Raven is from Azarath and Starfire is from Tamaran. They both come from different worlds.
I was interested in Beast boy too and they showed a little bit in the story but yeah not much explained.
So true! I love the boys, they are interesting as well, but Raven and Starfire far outmatches them :D
In theory yes, in execution…not so much. Raven abso-freaking-lutly but as for starfire I definitely feel that they don’t do as much as they do with cyborg. I’d say she’s about even with beast boy give or take. That doesn’t mean she’s any less of a cool character with a cool background but for me I feel like we see cyborg struggle with who he is and what he’s become more then the majority of what starfire goes through as she’s more or less just a fish outta water for the most part.
Raven yes. Star fire…? Nah. Maybe cus they never gave her her own season due to cancellation but I’d say the boys had more interesting backstories
18:00 the crossover we all need
Also fun fact beast boy is voiced by Kevin 11
I love seeing the girls bond 😭❤️
This show takes place in DC universe. Robin Is Batman’s protoge. Batman is still in Gotham fighting crime: Robin was sent to jump city to train and fight crime. He met the titans and they set up shop
18:51 my head cannon now that Robin saw how much star fire was crushing on aqualad man stole his whole flow
18:44 actually yes he is aqua man sidekick and one of the original titans in the comics
Raven and star bonding is always great
The Teen Titans voice actors also voiced The Royal Flush Gang in the Justice League series.
I think raven is considered the strongest titan member if i remember
yea she is but u know for most superhero media u gotta nerf them
To be able to match wits with Trigon, I’d say so.
She technically is the strongest DC character, but at base normally is starfire
@@luantrindade2910bro is ignoring darkseid
@@painvillegaming4119seems like u didn't meet the "unkindness raven"
To me Switched was definitely one of the best episodes on Teen Titans. Seeing Raven and Starfire interacting with each other was amazing!
1:07 my boy is about to go wild once season 4 comes around
Fun Fact: The Black Marlin, the fish beast boy transforms into to outrace Aqualad, is (debatably) the fastest aquatic creature in the ocean.
Petition for Young Justice to be added in the future.
Yes 😌❤
A bit late, butabsolutely.
I love that you guys are covering teen titans 😊
I kinda thought ya’ll would know about Aqualad, idk if you’ve seen Young Justice but I guess you can say he is aquamans sidekick or partner
I saw the thumbnail and knew what episode it was time for XD
Aqualad is Aquaman's sidekick and an orginal Teen Titan in the 60's comic.
There are a few channels on TH-cam (comics explained, comicstorian) that I think boom could rival if he put effort into it. He's knowledgeable and entertaining enough to break down a comic storyline. Maybe he could tell the lore while showing visuals as he explains it to the non comic people and Erik can ask sensible questions about nonsense while ruff gets amped about random stuff and h man sings theme songs to hide the sound of him whittling away at his ankle chain which restrains him from opening the 7th portal of hell.
Trident's voiced by Clancy Brown. Mr. Krabs
Starfire can fly, she's the strongest (physically) one on the team, she can shoot lasers out of her eyes and can control energy
Raven is a powerful magician with telepathic, empathetic, telekinetic, umbrakinetic powers and demonic heritage
They're BY FAR the most powerful ones in the group
I can answer your question about Robin! The comic series this show was (loosely) based on took place after Robin split from Batman. I think he needed to spread his wings a little (pun intended) by going solo, but then ended up forming the Titans. That's not a spoiler for the show. Just what happened in the comic series.
Next week the mode is about to be changed into pure undadultered Mad
I think that the reason why they didn't let raven tell her backstory is because it's too dark for a kids show
**SPOILERS (but not really)**
We do eventually get more glimpses of her origins and her internal struggles fairly late into this series
I got to say that teen titans is like the Scooby-Doo gang.
btw the opening tells you whether the episode is going to be serious or not. If it's in English its a serious episode if not its more of a joke or just for fun episode
These actually came one day earlier than usual
9:20 this episode reminds me of a few thing......
Does anyone else remember
Im watching you...
Yes, Aqualad is Aquaman's prodigy.
Usually body swaps are looked down upon, but this was one of the better ones
Awh i love this, i love teen titans. Starfire and Raven are amazing and so cool together, love this episode
Honestly, Cyborg’s sonic cannon would be far deadlier underwater
Aqualad is voiced by Will Wheton aka Wesley Crusher from TNG.
17:15 Guys Kevin Levin is in Teen Tiatan, he's Beast Boy.
I gotta say that Boom is winning me over more by being the Beast Boy defender. That's what I love to see.
Yeah Aqualad is a thing like Kid Flash is a thing lol. Fun Fact: They we’re the OG founding members of the Teen Titans; along side Robin and Speedy(Green Arrow’s Sidekick)
28:55 we know Batman exist Robin mentions him in a few episodes and we hint at him in a flashback
And since aqualad is here that means aqua man also exists
Am I the only one is disturbed at what Beast Boy was looking at on his puppet?
What was it?
@@smd1876 The scene where Beast Boy opened his puppet’s flap
@@InfinitEthanAnimations lmao
"Yo, Kevin's in this show?"
Well, he actually is funny enough. Here he's green though.
What sucks is that the show focuses mainly on their superhero personas; as such, much of their backstories are limited. That said, I do wish they kept the fact that Raven and Starfire shared life stories so Starfire wouldn't be completely shocked when Trigon pops up.
You Know Trident’s Is A Monster Villain
2:02 The one where the guy kidnaps them and drills holes in their hands and dislocates all their joints making them into living marionette dolls?
Cause that episode f*cked me up. I hate dolls and puppets.
in terms of like maximum potential strength Raven is the strongest Titan by a long shot
Funnily enough there IS a puppet Glee episode! LMAO
Star fire I think comes from a world people get Isekai'd to... I mean she literally has all the mechanics of the typical BS power of friendship as reasoning for her abilities.
I wonder what certain negative "villainous" tropes would bring out as powers?
I also wonder if her people are weirdly detached from their personal emotions since they need to call them up at a drop of a hat for powers and what not?
18:04 Kevin and Beast Boy have the same voice actor
I believe in the comics the Teen Titans were from New York then San Francisco
After watching all of teen Titans series you need to get into the DC Titans series and Doom Patrol also Swamp Thing.
Also I would never go into a deep sea submarine, not until more is developed in safety I feel. This comes from historical knowledge and my brother being on a submarine in the navy. I would take a submarine tour of shallow reef, like 20 feet deep, no more then 30 I think. Namely cause I love to scuba or snorkel reefs and see how pretty it is underwater, but not too deep. No threats of implosion for me. I rather have it where if in emergency we can be easily accessed by rescue.
Raven is my childhood favorite character and if you want more of her story watch birthmark, prophecy and the end they're my favorite
Funnily enough, Beast Boy is Kevin
Don't worry. Raven's full story is in s4 (If I remembered correctly)
Aqua lad is Aqua man’s protege
Tram s a charachter allegedly modeled after dc comics character Lagoon boy. You should see young justice, it s the only tv show that features the character
Tram's design reminds me of Greymatter (Ben 10).
Trident's VA sounds like Mr. Krabs...
12:12 "going by the look its Ben Shapiro" made me do a spit take
That's after Robin leaves Batman I don't know the time scape but I know that much
14:25 Lex Luther voice actor
Aqualad is a very real notable character in DC, he’s the protégée of Aquaman. His most notable appearance is in Young Justice, another great show that explores DC if u guys ever get around to it.
But the Aqualad in Young justice is different character. It's the mantle, similar to Robin. Even in YJ there were 3 different Robins. The YJ Aqualad is Kalduram, Garth(the Teen Titans one) appears in like one episode.
“Yo, Kevin’s in this show?!”
Why not? Ben is!
Edit: And I forgot for a second, but…so is Kevin! 😆
3:34 just noticed, they sleep with their street clothes? Xdd didnt even give them a pjs or some
Them laughing at aqualad shows they never watched young justice in thee slightest
... Im sorry, xmas owl house music in the background??
... I dont recall these episodes being so close together 🤯
Keep em coming!!! I love these videos!!!
There's a Chanel called Comic Origins that explains DC superheroes backstorys
I wanted to join the Patreon to watch uncut episodes, but I can't figure out if they post uncut reactions and, if so, to what. I'm not gonna pay only to find out the content I'd want isn't on there.
I can't wait to see more!
18:36 Yes. Aqualad is a thing. He is the sidekick of Aquaman.
You could find out more about a different iteration of him in the animated show "Young Justice", where he is among the main cast
They should watch Young Justice after this.
@@endycore4920they should watch Justice League first
Not me crying cuz the giveaway isn’t available in Canada 😭 still love you guys and your content but my frosty heart is hurt 💔
They NEED to watch young justice after they finish this series
Also consider watching young justice after at some point!

(At 12:30) Oh no, he dead.
brace for Mr. Krabs implosion
Also, seeing this last episode im excited for Wavelenght tomorrow with Beast Boy as a whale too 👏👏💚🤪🤪🤪
Just a little tid bit on power level - raven is world-ending if she goes all out, something she avoids doing.
Just wanna put it out there i am so for you guys watching more DC Animated in general it is honestly so much better and theres so many good shows and movies
I love the episode switched but I can’t way till y’all get to the better more important episodes
lol the giveaway is not available in my region
🧿💧👄💧🧿 Damn you, Canada
Is Trident Clancy Brown??
you guys gotta watch young justice, just a sugestion
And they did a movie to a cartoon movie. It's cool but watch it after the teen titan series.
How thought king puppet
Robin does need an explanation becouse there have been at least 4 iterations of him over the years tha i know of, so it would be good to know wich one is this one
This one is Dick Grayson.
Are we just not gonna talk about how beast boym checked out his own dolls Dick 😂
I hope you will one day react to the whole DCAMU films or Young Justice.
9:26 😂😂❤
Just saw this a sec ago and boom click!! Lol! Love always yall!!
Are you guys going to watch teen titans go after this
Yes. Aqua lad becomes Aqua man later on in life.
Where's H man?
is he just not in as much stuff lately?
