it can but you should not do that. I ride yamaha scooter + shell ultra scooter mostly with 2 people ~150kg. I felt the oil degraded after 2700-2800km. It was uncomfortable for me because the scooter vibrated more noticeably. But it can be continue upto 3000-3200km. I changed the oil and the vibration was gone 2500-3000km seems to be the sweet spot to change for shell ultra, and for maximum protection

Hey i just purchased a second hand apache 200 4v and it is giving me just 20kmpl average. I use it mostly on streets and i don't do drags and neither do i rev it higher than 3.5k rpm. I am a beginner this is my first bike and i am learning how to drive. I mostly run this bike in 2nd or 3rd gear. I also dropped the bike 3-4 times just some minor scratches. I filled the tank with 11ltr of petrol and after riding exactly 210km it showed the sign of low fuel. Is it because i don't have skills that's why i am getiing this mileage or there can be other problems? Are there any measures that i can take to increase the mileage? If yes then please share. Thanks in advance.
I have rtr 200 In long run it gave average 40-42 km but on daily use I get 30-32 km only. You are beginner this is also one reason to get low average. Try to ride bike on 5000 to 6000 rpm if this doesn't improve your average then you should have check from mechanic
Drive it on a highway in topgear at 50 or 60 kmph... And check average... 20kmpl is too low.. may br because you were learning the engine might have been in idle or 1st gear for most of the time

can you plz suggest best engine oil for honda hornet 2.0
Shell petrol pumps don't have this oil , neither the shop's, where you guys getting this shell ultra?
Is it best for 150cc scooter?
Awesome bro😊, I have rtr 200 4v bs 4 till I m using tvs engine oil please suggest me for 5th service better engine oil city & highway riders 🤔
Hi Sportztourer. Do you think the Shell Advance Ultra can be stretched to 4000 or even 6000kms?
Have you tried using the Shell Advance Power 15W50 oil?
it can but you should not do that. I ride yamaha scooter + shell ultra scooter mostly with 2 people ~150kg. I felt the oil degraded after 2700-2800km. It was uncomfortable for me because the scooter vibrated more noticeably. But it can be continue upto 3000-3200km. I changed the oil and the vibration was gone
2500-3000km seems to be the sweet spot to change for shell ultra, and for maximum protection
Is it good for Honda CG 125? Which is OHV engine
Can i use this engine oil on yamaha scooter
My recommended grade is 10w40
Which is the best oil for TVS wego?
Bro tell me 1 word which is best for my RTR 200 4v bs6, shell or motul 300V, but i faced oil leakage (motul 300V) in my RTR160 BS3 which is no longer with me right now. ❤️
Currentyi am using Motul 7100 but in my next oil change...before this video....I already buyed for Apache 200 bs4
My Ducati Diavel came with Shell Ultra. The first oil change was with Shell Ultra. The second oil change I switched to Liqui Moly non synthetic and after 100 miles I could feel an improvement in clutch grab and an unexpected boost in power. My engine has fewer metallic noises, runs smoother, fuel economy has not changed, and shifting is better with the Liqui Moly.
Lets say on OEM manufacturer refuses to specify the grade of an engine oil in the oil can. Can the lab find out what grade it is?
Can i use motul 7100 10w40 on my honda aviator bs3..?? Any comments on this, i wanna give it a shot, whats your take on this..
You can ut motul ka oil level kuch km ke bad drop ho jata h so you have you to check engine level after some km
@The Sportztourer: I have a Gixxer 250 and it has this SOCS. Factory-recommended ECSTAR seems great for the first few hundred kilometers and then I feel the motorcycle has lost its grunt. Which oil do you recommend for Gixxer 250?
I have a KTM 390 duke V2 in hot hot tropical country, Philippines.. KTM say to use 15w50.. is it safe to use 20w50 amsoil full synth as it's a good price here 👍
Make a comparison between top 10 10w40 and 10w50 fully synthetic engine oils.
So for Honda air cooled engine, I can push 3500km ?
According to you which oil should I use in my rtr 200? motul, liqui moly or Castrol power. Bike has daily city use and short weekend ride once in month
No oil is bad, but I suggest start with some of the cheaper synthetic oils by Indian brands like HP, Veedol etc. If you're satisfied it's good, else turn to the brands you mentioned which are costlier but also claim better performance.
@@akupegu1622 thanks for suggetion
I'm using Castrol power ultima 10w40 for my Apache 200 bro.. it's good actually.. now I'm thinking to switch to shell next time just to experience difference
@@omdesai8863 Veedol is not an Indian brand btw
Was there drop in oil level sir ...??
Have you tried using genuine honda fully synthetic oils for scooters? Is it good? How about repsol scooter oils?
Just reached jispa, Got 4g connection, got notification, Instant click ❤️ Good work brother ❤️
Does shell advance ultra give less wear on the engine than motul 7100?
Can we use this oil for Honda Click V2 Game Changer?
Please make a technical comparison between shell and castrol and Motul in the same fully synthetic category
Hi Nice video. I used motul 5100 and 7100 both engine oil drop oil level but shell advance does not drop oil level
Last time i used shell advance ultra fully synthetic oil 10w40 in my apache 1604v bs4 now it runs 2183 kms and left only 300ml in bike there is no white smoke and nothing but i amazed. I found this while i feel sudden change in engine sound help me ..
I am currently using motul 7100 10w40 in my rtr 160 & 160 4v and facing drop in oil level in both the bikes so I am planning to switch to Mobil 1 racing 4t 10w40 . Since I have never used this oil before so I want to know …. How is Mobil 1 when we compare it to motul, shell and castrol ?
Shell advance ultra vs Motul 7100 vs Castrol power 1 ultimate plzzz
Sir, Is Motul 7100 10w40 good for honda unicorn 150 bs 4. Previously I used Honda throttle 10w30
It would be interesting to compare advance 10W40 vs rotella T6 5W40.
Can we use Liquimoly MOS2 additive with Shell advance ultra? As shell already have 142.6 ppm of Molybdenum. So will it be an overkill to add a MOS2 additive to this oil?
for scooter only. More MoS2 would cause clutch slippage on a wet-clutched motorcycle
this oil already has too much Moly as an JASO MA2 oil
@@axetilen thank you
Can I use this in my Yamaha scooter?
I think Shell Advance Ultra VS Motul 7100 VS Liqui Moly Street Race would be a great video cause their price range is almost simillar.
TY
thank you very much for your awesome content. would you please review shell advance ax7 semi synthetic as there is no single review of this product ?
Wow 😍. TBN was really a mystery. Nowhere it's actually found. I got a white paper of AX7 and Ultra where it seems AX7 got better TBN.
Thanks Tridip 😊
The TBN is important, but some oils have much stronger tbn with better bases, not in quantity just in resistence.
Please compare between motul and shel as I use motul for my honda 110 cc engine. I need to know if I need to switch to shel engine oil.
I have rtr 200
In long run it gave average 40-42 km but on daily use I get 30-32 km only.
You are beginner this is also one reason to get low average. Try to ride bike on 5000 to 6000 rpm if this doesn't improve your average then you should have check from mechanic
Drive it on a highway in topgear at 50 or 60 kmph... And check average... 20kmpl is too low.. may br because you were learning the engine might have been in idle or 1st gear for most of the time
Hello ,
Can I use JASO MA2 in Gearless scoters (tvs ntorq) instead of recommend JASO MB ? Currently using Motul 7100 10w40 JASO MA2 in tvs ntorq .
Yes you can
Now that this oil isn't available easily, is there an alternativd for this?
Pls make technical specs comparison of shell advance ultra vs motul 7100 vs castrol power 1 ultimate and also their additive packages and cost
