Label is a bit faded and not well detailed 3.If you peel the label to expose a QRcode to scan, the scanned QRcode should redirect you to Shell website with the exact product you just scanned. 4. The bottle cap seal should stay in the bottle neck when you open it. If it comes off with the cap when opened, that oil would probably be fake. 5. The bottle should feel bulging. If it feels slim and with less than a liter of oil, that's a fake. 6. The manufacture date should be the same as the arrow codes at the bottom of the bottle.
They are two totally different products ... Motul 300V is a racing oil, has high performance but must be replaced often, the Shell is a road oil, has good performance and can be used with normal maintenance intervals.
Liqui Moly 15w50 in my Diavel. After 300 miles, I noticed an increase in torque and the wet clutch performance improved significantly. First two oil changes were with the Shell as recommended in the manual. I'm never changing from Liquidations Moly, there is that much of an improvement in performance, smoother running at 4500 RPM and above (it's like a sewing machine at 5000 rpm), better shifting, etc...... All totally unexpected and I'm impressed.
Shell has the best GTL Synthetic base stock. They will forget more about lubricants than most companies will ever know.

20w50 is usually mineral or semi-synthetic based, 15w50 is synthetic based.
Shell Advance ultra 4 is an excellent oil with good value for money ...
