I have an Android and I need an Aux plugged into the headphones jack to record with a Mic. Im hoping it works. Im not to sure if it will thou. An apple only has the Apple input port which, from what I understand, sends audio and is also used to charge the phone or transfer data. My android has a aux input for headphones and a seperate port for charging and data. My hope is that a USB going out from the Mic will transfer audio to my phones headphone port with this cord. Well with that cable you don’t need to cut any wires, just leave it how it is and connect from the micro usb end to aux
