    Really cool to see some puls . I'm gonna go with the sixth element 1klite tune . Getting the fuel pressure pump . This week plus spark plugs HKS

      Thanks! I’ll try to get a driving impressions video out in the next day or two. Can’t wait to see the results of the SXTH element tune, it looks to be really good. I need to get a fuel pressure pump soon, the factory pumping is not liking E30 right now lol. So I’m running 93 octane for now

    On my 2019 veloster N I ran the Race Chip programmer and it was damn good, claimed 40hp and 100ftlb increase and it felt like it too. The upside to the Race Chip was no wiring in the car, it was all under hood but I’m excited to see how the JB4 does.

    • @KonaNthusiast
      @KonaNthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I’ve heard some good things about the race chip. I hate the wiring process but it definitely gives me reassurance that the JB4 is doing more than just increasing boost. Stay tuned for the next video that I’ll post in the next week of the first impressions.

    Exuse me for not knowing this but plugging into the OBDII port is because you’ve got Bluetooth capability, correct?
    If so, can you just get a piggyback that gives you a set level of performance 🤔

    • @KonaNthusiast
      @KonaNthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries. Plugging into the OBDII port is needed for the JB4 piggyback, there is a separate Bluetooth connection that you attach to the piggy back that allows you to adjust the tunes on the piggyback. I honestly wouldn’t recommend just get a generic piggyback, haven’t seen the best reliability from those. Stay tuned for my video that’s releasing tomorrow. I’ll discuss that more in that video

      Yes and no. JB4 works for the Elantra N line, but you will have to go to the website and choose the Correct tuning module for your car.

    • @KonaNthusiast
      @KonaNthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sooo my recommendation is to remove the JB4 tune whenever you’re going to the dealership. It takes 5 minutes to remove and reinstall. Also, if something were to happen, the tune isn’t traceable. The ECU still shows stock boost levels on my performance pages, but in actuality it’s making a lot more boost than that.

    That's not a real tune it's just a sensor fooler that increases boost. A real tune does so much more than that.

    • @KonaNthusiast
      @KonaNthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It may not be a true ECU tune but it is definitely a tune, a damn good one at that. I would love to have an ECU tune but I just can’t justify spending that much for one right now. Rather put my money towards more bolt ons

    • @cindysue5474
      @cindysue5474 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it would be nice if a company like diablo sport or SCT make a tuner for the Kona N yes they do so much more like you say.

    • @KonaNthusiast
      @KonaNthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cindysue5474 that’s true. Tbh I feel like JB4 is just good as those companies or Cobb, for the most part they all run off of a module that connect to the OBD port just like JB4 does. I know people have their doubts about JB4, but for a long time, the fastest stingers out there all ran JB4, I’m talking 10 second passes in 1/4 mile.
