What 😆not even a wee nip of the hot Scottish stuff in the box 😉 top tip Always take a spare chain case gasket wrapped in poly and gaffer taped onto the inside of ur panel
Great vid Rob! Spring puller for the exhaust springs and center stand spring bar are handy items. Tire pressure gauge, “On the Lam” clutch cable tool, and a flashlight have saved me a bunch too!
I’ve just bought some casa pipe on the back of this. As for spares I take enough for a complete engine rebuild 😀. I always take a spare spare. Because if you use one you then haven’t got a spare. Plus I’ve got spare if a mate needs one. I’ve been caught out on that before. Lent my spare. Then I’ve broke down and needed it 🤣
Flashlight is smart (it doesn't go dark here in the summer) I don't carry bulbs because I can get hold of h4 bulbs almost anywhere here. I do however carry a spare cdi on the s1 which has "normal" 12v ac system. The vape cdi's tend not to pack up. (famous last words 🤣)
I’d like to add Rob. There are some dodgy spark plugs out there. Might be worth taking a spare you have tested. Even though you have what you thought was new and working. Thanks for all your tips bud!
Lambrettas have an undeserved reputation for being unreliable. Back in the sixties me and my mates went on loads of trips and always got home ( once minus an exhaust in my case) . Poor maintenance and sub standard parts are often to blame along with people doing tuning work without upgrading everything else.

@Gerald Fisher ur right Gerald, we don’t give a damm
I've deleted 40 of these today 😕
@@kickbackgarage keep up the sterling work Rob 😆
The only other tools I have in my kit are a 7mm and 8mm spanner to lend to all my Vespa mates who don't bother to carry any tools. 😎
You used to be able to get a combined plug and wheel nut spanner.
Wouldn't mind one of those

Yeah! Light is important but it doesn't get dark here in the summer.

🤣 I would be demanding it back!
@@kickbackgarage I would of done if they had waited for me 🤣🤣
Hahahahaha keep up the great work 👍👍
A great help, thank you👍👍
I carry pretty much the same as you Rob but I include a flashlight and spare headlight and tail/brake light bulbs

Ever used the Iridium spark plugs, they seem to make a difference especially on starting.
Never tried them. I don't have problems starting either. 🙃
Thanks for this just half my tools and the weight to 😬
🤣
Definitely a tool kit Rob but not the Mrs😆😆😆😆

Very true.
