76bhp Lambretta 250cc twin by Casa Performance - quick look & start-up

In this video we meeting Micky and Marco from Rimini Lambretta Centre and Casa Performance and they show us their 76bhp 250cc twin cylinder engine Lambretta. The frame of this scooter is a 1969 Lambretta Innocenti DL and the engine is built in house by Casa Performance.
Location is The 2022 Classic Bike Guide Winter Show at Newark, UK.

Its amazing how quick these 50 ,+ year old scooters can be made to go.The development of these small vintage lambretta and vespa engines has advanced massively in the last few years.

I saw a video of someone riding one of the early versions of this scooter in Italy, it does power wheelies in all gears and sounds like a banshee.

Lovely, should offer the offset pipes as an alternative, my old RGV had them lined up but the more modern ones when to offset which looked more GP style. Lovely engineering folks.

I have 2 250cc scooters helix and reflex both about 20 hp. And they go 75 and 80 mph. This is just insane.

it`s a FC lambro, basically the C model lambretta back end with a cross axle front , they swapped it around when the FD came out and put a cab on , it was produced in 1950 1952 , fun fact the same basic shaft drive engine broke the 125 record in 1951 , at 121 mph
