For automotive I take mid torque over high torque, I broken couple of lugs and bolts with the high torque I stopped using it only keep it for heavy duty vehicles that have like 8 lugs torqued to heaven

+ Never buy 1/4 electric ratchet, is so unnecessary

With the new high torque you can choose to use lower setting in worried about exploding fasteners. I do agree tho, the mid torque should be able to do 99% of what most passenger vehicles have going on.

I gotta keep that ratchet around, reason being, it’s much shorter than the extended version and I like there’s going to be a time where the longer one won’t fit.
If you’re hunting for one, Home Depot’s online daily deals often bundle the M12 Ratchet with another useful M12 tool or battery for decent price…or eBay for a used ok for maybe $50
