I’ve been watching Josh’s videos on repeat this season as my son is finally getting to the point where he really understands all these concepts and coaching points. They’re super in depth with a lot of information but he explains it all so well. I didn’t grow up playing baseball so in many ways I’m learning just as much as my son is from Josh’s videos

The back chain at the end of the full pvc swing... that's detail right there. Wow this is great stuff 👏 👍

Hey I'm really new to coaching and baseball. I'm 30 years old and never played baseball. I have 2 kids 5and 7 my 7 year old has became obsessed with it. So I guess we just became a baseball family. Thanks for the videos. I have been watching them all just picking anything up I can for myself and my kids.

I realize this is rather advanced for a 7 year old but I will make sure she makes that box pre swing.

These were great thank you! One thing I’ve noticed during little league baseball this year with my boy as he gets older ( 9 year old) is that the better hitters on my team seem to get frustrated hitting. Not that they strike out but because the pitchers are throwing everywhere except over the plate and they’re getting walked. When it is over the plate it’s way high. One of my players took a major chop at one during our last game just to try to hit it. At that point we were up 12-2 just by getting walked. Kids were bored of just walking lol. His chop went for a base hit. Thanks for all your great content.

My man Josh has done more for the game than he even realizes. He's inspired new coaches looking for tips and drills , and he's inspired old dogs like myself to keep doing what we do for the kids. I give him 2 claps and a ric flair....WOOOOO! Atta boy Josh!

Great hitting drills! My son had long swing to try get more power being smaller kid! Now the coach (Gore high school teammate that played college ball) has him "inside the ball" to point he stay to tight and jamming himself! My son OVER corrected the problem and now having work on extending the RIGHT way without throwing his hands out and around! Also...Cant find anything to help catcher change a "reaction" to "reflex" and block the spiked fastballs! He is text book at practice blocking and recover but in game the pitcher hangs the offspeed but then spikes the fastballs and he gets yelled at...and one time runner was already stealing so blocking would jt been for "looks" cause it wasnt even a "read in dirt" by runner!

If you use Proper muscle engagement the swing will be automatic. You won't have to think about anything except seeing the ball. If you use the right muscles the eyes will take the hands to the ball.

I am 37 and started playing wood bat baseball. I am 5’6” and all the charts say at my height and weight I should use 33”. If I hold the bat from my chest I can reach the sweat spot on 32” and not 33”. I have been using 33” in the game and it seems like I hit the ball under the sweat spot. What size bat should I use?

The tire rolled to the pull side when he took his hands off... that type of swing will produce roll over... taking your hands to the ball is exactly what should be done and it works when done correctly.

What is the thickness you use for the pvc pipe? Everything I see online says 1/2 inch but there pvc’s look way thinner then yours! I went with 3/4 inch

90% of this is useless. It's like doing push-ups to get better at jumping jacks.
