- Hello my Coco's, Get THICK, RELAXED hair, and STOP breakage by Pre-Pooing.
Stop breakage on black hair, African American hair. Stop breakage on relaxed/ permed hair. Black relaxed/ perm hair breakage and solutions.
In this video, I talk about using Pre-Poo's to increase the thickness of your hair by reducing the damage and breakage caused by detangling and using shampoos.
A great method of taking care of your relaxed/ permed hair to dramatically reduce breakage. Great for detangling, adding moisture, and growing your hair thick and long.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video :)

Get Thick Relaxed Hair by Pre-Pooing
Hi my coco's, thanks for watching my video. x
Will you start doing pre-poos or have you already begun doing them?
I would love to know what everyone's experience is with it, so please comment below with your results :)
Your hair is gorgeous!!😍😍
I'd love to see how you relax your hair
@@vivi1479-0 Thank you! My hair is due for a relaxer in the next few months, I will try to get the entire relaxer routine recorded
@@relaxedandlovingit Okay! Awaiting...🤗🤗
Comical but insightful and helpful. I need to start adding this to my hair care regime! Thank you for this video and love from another carribean queen across the pond! Keep up the good work xxx
Thank you for watching. You will def see a huge difference with your hair thickness if you start and continue with pre-poos. It would be lovely if you come back to let me know how you get on with it xx
@@relaxedandlovingit you got it! All my love always xxx
I literally had hair like this and Ive had so much breakage over the past year, I will defo be trying this thank you ❤️
Def, hope it works for you ❤️
Thank you ❤ can I ask a few questions because girl I'm determined to get my hair back to being thick and beautiful just like yours 😻 how often do you oil your hair? Do you sprits it with oil and water day to day? and how often do you wash it in between getting it relaxed? Trying not to ask too many questions but I appreciate any response ❤
@@shey2048 Sure, I don't mind questions :)
With my current schedule, I shampoo once per week on a set day and alternate my protein & moisture deep conditioners with each wash.
If I can fit in a conditioner washing mid-week (using conditioner instead of shampoo), then I'll do so.
I try to spritz my hair every single night (water & oil), and also use ors hair moisturiser along with the spritzing.
Hope this helps :)
@@relaxedandlovingit thank you so much ❤️
What a great video! I’m natural but I’ll watch all hair type videos that are educational. I love your accent and your voice , it’s so pleasant!🙏🏽
I'm the same, I love everything haircare. So many transferable tips and 💗 Thank you for your compliment 😄
Thats her jokey voice....thank God😂
Hair goals,absolutely gorgeous 😍
Thank you and thank you for watching xx
Healthy Beautiful Hair Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching 😊
My hair doesn't like coconut oil. Because I suffer from dry scalp, I use 100% pure olive oil the night before my wash routine and oil my scalp, hair shaft, and ends. It's been working wonders, no more dry scalp and hair growth without breakage.
Great video! I used to pre-poo. I've forgotten about it. I need to go back to it. If you can get it, I'll say purchase microwavable deep conditioning heat cap from Thermal Haircare. It's one of the best purchase I made for my hair. I can deep condition and multi-task.
Thank you! and great tip, I'll def look into getting one, esp if it can help while I do other tasks :D
I’m a lazy relaxed so Ive never done a pre-poo. I will try it out because I lose a lot of hair on wash days.
Btw, I love black girls with British accents 🥰
Thank you 😊
You'll see such a huge difference when doing the prepoo that you might be excited to do it every washday 😀
Nice content. I use to mix coconut oil, avocado oil to my conditionner and then apply thé mixture to.my hair
Sounds like a really nice mix! You did yours as a pre-poo or a regular conditioner?
@@relaxedandlovingit the mix with coconut oil as a pre poo. For deep conditionning avocado, evoo but never coconut oil .
😂😍😍 thick hair goals
Thank you x
Will you make any more vids?
Hi, I've actually recorded quite a few videos, however, the editing for them has taken a back seat due to the life. Hopefully, I can get at least one of those videos out soon :)
Glad I found you this is the second video of yours I have watched..thick hair goals! When i pre-poo i dampen my hair with a mix of water, glycerin, aloe juice, and honey. Then I add my oils and heat.
Love you. I am gaining confidence to start this journey in a week time ❤️
Thank you ❤️ I hope your journey goes well!
@@relaxedandlovingit hopefully ☺️❤️
You have full ends .... I'll follow your routine and come back to you hopefully with great results
I hope the routine helps ❤️
Love your steam cap please let me know where you purchased it
Thanks for the informative vido
no problem, thank you for watching :)
Yes, the steam cap is really good. It's known as a 'Conditioning Cap' and the exact one I have can be found here: amzn.to/3EPJifr
Where are you from? Your accent is so distinct. Also how is your hair doing now?
I'm from London :) I was having fun with the editing and ended up using more of an exaggerated North London/ Essex accent - I wanted to make my videos more fun and silly.
My hair is still doing really well. It is a lot longer now than in this video and the ends are thicker. Hopefully, once I get the chance to record new content and edit them, I can show my current progress.
beautiful hair!
Thank you ❤️
Too bad my hair hates coconut, I don't even use products with coconut in it.
That's a shame about the coconut oil but you can still use any oils which you've found to work well with your hair ❤️
Will you be trying pre-poo's out?
Try olive oil. It’s great for your hair.
Hi do you water and coconut everyday
I actually do do it daily, sometimes twice per day.
I treat it like a LOC method but if I'm lazy, sometimes I often do it daily without the 'C'.
😂I thought I was the only one who had hair thick like this ❤
I only managed to discover the true thickness of my hair due to my routine, before this my hair was thin 😅
What was your hair texture before you start your relaxed hair journey?
I'm a 4b/ 4c curl pattern
@@relaxedandlovingit wow😀 same. My hair should hopefully come out like that
How to mix ?,
Hi, I mix 20-30% oil to 80-70% water and I ensure to shake the mixture before use
U don't dhow how to or ingredient
Thank you for showing me how to co-wash again thank you
Maybe you should research fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.
What type pls?
Sorry for the question but aren't your ends like unhealthy? I'm always cutting my ends when it looks "fried"
I am wearing a choppy hairstyle and when hair is wet, the ends do look different. However, I tend to trim every relaxer day which is next week, so if anything needs taking off, ill be doing it then
@@relaxedandlovingit thank you for replying, I keep cutting my ends cause I always feel like it's damaged and not retaining enough length 😭😭
Sorry to hear that. It sounds like you need to figure out why your ends could be behaving like that and do things to counteract it. If you are looking for length then you may also need to start 'babying' your ends more E.g. moisturising it daily, don't use daily direct heat and do things to prevent friction of your ends rubbing against clothes etc
Are you considered African American any if you’re not American? Lol
Hi, I'm fully black. I'm actually British but my heritage is Caribbean
