    I'm a 4c natural and I follow your wash day routine. My hair is more moisturized during the week and it's growing very well. I mix the oils and do the deep condition on dry hair the same way, wash then do a moisture deep condition . This works ladies. 🤗

    Oh my gosh!! I can't express how grateful I am for your channel. I have been trying to combat dry hair for so long and I have watched videos before but never really followedyour advice, kept using the same products and never seeing good results. This week, I was at my wits end being 14 weeks post, my new growth was very thick and dry and I thought I knew I couldn't relax my hair in this state. I watched your video on moisture and protein and then ended up watching so many more and I took some notes, went to the shops and bought new products for about £100. I did your wash day to the tee, 2 step and keracare treatments, and used the S curl activator spray. I feel like crying because I have wasted so much time on my hair and I've been doing all the wrong things!!! I also felt like crying tears of joy, my hair has never so soft and hydrated my whole life especially when it was so dry and breaking off this last month. I had a baby and hair maintenance has been inconsistent because I didn't have a plan. I know I'm going to see results now just from consistently following your regimen. Honestly, I am just so grateful for TH-camrs like you because you really make a difference. I felt it in my soul when you said invest in your hair, not wigs. I was about to give up on my hair and blame it on genetics and just buy more wigs. But you helped me!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU'RE THE G.O.A.T!! I will be supporting your channel consistently from now, I'll be watching every ad sis! Much love❤❤❤❤❤❤ from the UK🇬🇧

    I don't usually comment but I've been overcome by a wave of nostalgia! You are the reason why I have long relaxed hair to this day! I followed your routines to the T about 6 or 7 years ago and I was so amazed at how long my hair grew! I noticed a significant difference in 3 months. I was just beginning a transitioning journey to natural hair but now that you're back I am so tempted to go back to relaxing (and I just might). Never had a problem with my relaxed hair...I guess I just wanted a challenge lol. Don't ever leave again!

    I tend to go back and watch old videos till I get to the new ones. Question?? In your newest videos you mention you do two washes per week. I noticed it said you did a protein treatment following a relaxer and then the next time later in the week you do a follow up w/a shampoo and moisturizing deep conditioner. So my question is this : do you just do a protein treatment after your perm now ONLY (once) or is this still once a week followed by a second wash w/deep conditioner? I’ve been following you ever since the hair boards. Thanks.

    I know this is 4 years old; yet, I'm using this regimen as I type. I brought all the products I need, which I chuckled to myself bc the KeraCare line is what I grew up using on my hair. Your reason for your hair journey was the inspiration and example I needed. I canceled my hair appt today and said I can wash, condition, and style my own hair; however, I will still get my relaxer done professionally. I didn't like the products being used or how my hair was over manipulated. Everything else I can do because I NOW know it's possible! THANK YOU for sharing your journey with us!

    My natural and low porosity and I have tried a lot of the natural hair videos and over priced products I have found that my hair responds instantly to old school products and 25% natural products depending on what part of the processes I'm on.. I have also found that a little bit of products responds better so basically my natural hair responds better to relaxed hair regimen than the natural hair regimen....right now I'm using your regimen in this video wish me luck 😁

    you must have high porosity hair. there's no way I could use protein on my hair every week like that. even the oils you use is better for high porosity hair, with the exception of the jojoba oil, which is light weight and penetrates well. that's really great you found a combination that gives you beautiful hair. I have low porosity hair. so the only time I use a protein conditioner is a week before I relax my hair, and right after I apply my relaxer. that's it. too much protein for low porosity hair is a nightmare. great job. your hair is beautiful.

    Hey in this video I noticed you said you only detangle on wash days to minimize hair shedding. Could you elaborate on this because I'm prone to major shedding
    Thanks so much! You're great!

    I don't understand why for those who dislike this video and any other video's you put out. One word, Jealous. For some who may thumbs down because her method is too much no need for thumbs down, keep in mind it's what works for her obviously the proof is in the pudding.

    I relaxed my hair after watching your videos, thank you! My hair is soft and healthy bc I watched closely, got better understanding of my hair, and read the directions! Getting ready for wash day, I'm wondering, I have low porosity and doesn't seem to do well with protein treatments, do you think I should do an oil mix treatment before I was and deep condition? Thinking of using coconut and olive oil, my hair loves olive oil, and then my low porosity shampoo and deep conditioner.

    I'm amazed at how you are not heavy handed with your products. Was that little conditioner and coconut oil you showed putting in the bowl enough to cover your entire head or you kept on adding some to the bowl?

    Your hair is so beautiful....thnks for sharing especially the moisture treatment you made...is the hello hydration conditioner from herbal essences ok to use with oils for a moisture treatment as well?i normally use ors replenishining or nourishing conditioner but i wanted something tht was protein free.

      Cornelia Lewis I don’t use HE HH as a DC because it’s not formulated to be a deep conditioner. You can try Aussie 3 min miracle as a DC and add oils to that. It’s protein free and very moisturizing.

    Hi, I’m trying to grow my hair and I loved your video and I think I’ll use it for my new wash routine but I was confused by two things, do you use the aphogee protein every week and if not how long do you wait before using it? also when you said “off to deep condition” did you apply deep conditioning products on top of the protein then dry it or did you just let it dry and then start washing?

    Secondly when do you use the pre shampoo method?

    HAIRLISTA!!! I just stalker you on Instagram and I am truly in awe! I had a major set back last year (protein overload). It was dreadful!!!. That was right after chemical over processing if you can imagine that....and I didn't have long hair t being with so I have been taking TONS of notes and have invested in some product and about to embark on my hair journey. Pray for me y'all!!! You are truly an inspiration and thank you for your dedication and sharing such helpful tips.Question: Why do you wash your hair twice weekly? Is that just your thing, or do you find it beneficial to the hair growth journey/process?

      Thank you Hairlista! I have had 2 protein treatments so far using nexus polymedic emergency reconstructor (I know you are a Aphogee lover) but I happen to love this particular nexxus product and it WORKS! I have reduced my shedding by at least 75 -85% after 2 treatments (disclaimer: I had the treatment PROFESSIONALLY done and had the process 2 weeks apart). Ladies, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS follow up with a proper deep moisturizing conditioner! I will be using some of your tips such as applying my deep conditioner to dry hair mixed with coconut, olive and avocado oil (I just happen to already have all 3 in my panty - YAY!). I have done some research and a lot of your tips/advice and process is spot on!!!!. Once again, thank you so vey much and check out GlamFam (Linwood), who is a great stylist with a wealth of information. You have obviously been doing a phenomenal job (I binge watch a lot of your prior videos so I can tell you put the work in), but he also deep dives in what causes some basis hair issues that one would never really know or think about. He is currently doing a series and I think because of your love of hair you would enjoy it (that is, if you don't already know it! LOL!) Here is his latest video th-cam.com/video/w76Jl_q2JjsY/w-d-xo.htmlou two are my fav youtubers regarding proper haircare and regiment for healthy relaxed hair. PLEASE keep up the excellent work Goddess. The relax hair community appreciates you more than you could ever know. xoxo

  • @daizfully1364

    Should I try the 2 minute reconstructor? I tried the other one, the two step before and my hair was so hard even after using the conditioner that came with it (i have the strangest feeling I've asked this question before but I feel the need to ask this).
    I normally order my products online though, because my country doesn't sell it. Hopefully my mum would let me buy the 2-min reconstructor if the results would differ.....
    I'm also curious about the humecto... My hair needs alot of moisture and when i suggested to my mum to buy it she said it was a 'cheap' product :/

    Hello I’m a newbie here!! I wanna know if after deep conditioning did you wash your hair again with a shampoo?? Love from Ghana

    • @SS-fv6iw
      @SS-fv6iw 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not after the second deep conditioning that you see with the kerakare humecto treatment conditioner and oils... you just rinse with water. If you can use Luke warm water to rinse your final deep conditioner out - as that closes the hair cuticle and seals all the goodness in, and your hair will feel more smooth when it is dried as the cuticles are closed and not raised. (You open the cuticle when you first start shampooing your hair with warm water - it’s the heat of the water that opens the cuticle, so you want to make sure you close the cuticle on your final rinse) sorry I know you commented this a month ago, I’m a hairdresser and I couldn’t help but help :)
      Love to Ghana from UK, I hope to visit one day!! ❤️🖤❤️

    • @SS-fv6iw
      @SS-fv6iw 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not all clients can stand the Luke warm water - to cool water rinse at the end. But the ones that do.... take very very good care of the hair.... in fact I have this one client that even as I walk over to the bowl she’s likes “ don’t forget to give me the final rinse cold” and I’m like yes girl I been doing your hair for 3 years now 😂
