FF7 Remake I think I have 500h on it 😂
Interesting list of final fantasy series games I tried to find a playable ff11 on ps2 to test drive the game but failed the one saying ps2 maybe is a pal system ps2 version but unfortunately I never was able to get it to work normally on my system without a special touch also found out other games were also pal like largo winch for ps2 is a special pal system game and other games🤔🙏,,,,
Dumb kid MMO's do not count lol
Final fantasy rebirth is the best final fantasy game and it took me 800 hours to beat
@@micahisarat55 you wouldn't happen to know what system is final fantasy rebirth for I have a ps2 system that's why I'm asking🤔🙏
I played more than 46 hours of Blitzball alone, not to mention filling up the sphere grid for every character.
Not gonna lie but if they gave us blitzball like in 10 as a standalone game I'd snatch it in a heartbeat
needs to be a little harder though@@medunno645
Oh god I hated blitzball 😆
I played it a lot. Didn’t even realise you got unique items I just got carried away.
Got to the point I would pass to Tidus and he could score from anywhere no matter how many people were in the way.
That’s the point I stopped.
Iirc i played and completely 100% ff x for 300 hours++ around 22 years ago.
I played twice including with golden sphere grid if u know what i mean.
Took me 77 hours to finish FF7. I was like 13 years old when I finished it.
I think my brothers and i shared a playthrough and I feel like it took years. It was probably just one summer though lol
When I was the same age i had 99 hours on the clock, though, you have to take into consideration, while it is not the case for everybody, FF7 really sucked me in, I did EVERYTHING there was to do in it, and you also have to take into account the bits where I'd leave the game on idle every now and again.
Best game I ever played before Red Dead Redemption 2. I cried my eyes out playing FFVII and I was about twenty when it came out.
@@dolier2802- There was also NO skipping the cut-scenes in that game. I think that's what made me really appreciate the story.
@@Someothername2134I could never share a playthrough ☠️
FFX will always be my favourite. Put so many hours into that game completing everything
How many Kottos and Earth Eaters you had to kill? How much money spent bribing fiends? lol the grinding in this game was crazy.
I spent 54 hours Completing *Final Fantasy XV* in 100%! I Absolutely Love that game!
54h? 😮
I had 700h and i still feel there were things left to do... although i only remember the v2 magitek suits. I needed 6 more i think.. or 4... been a while
Way overlooked ff game I loved it too. Plan on replaying again soon
I played for 70hours😂
I need Final Fantasy VIII remake 100% 😃👍🏻
I love original Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy remake was incredible
8 probably needs it the most. With a better battle system it would be a real improvement over the original.
I may be biased but FF8 was my first FF game and it was the best FF game for me
@@bjorndamrong3289 So classic one 👌🏻

@@randomreviews4278 what?
I would argue 13 isn’t nearly as long if you could skip the cut scenes
I am surprised to not see Final Fantasy 16 wasn’t on here. It actually took a minute for me to beat it. I put in at least 70 hours. Final Fantasy 16 ended up being my top three favorite Final Fantasy games of all time.
i’m still playing ff16 and ff7 rebirth
Man I did not expect to like ff12 but once I played it, I had a great time
I have it on my backlog but have yet to dive into it! I heard it’s really long 🔥
@@blitzball4lyfe823 yeah bro I 100% recommend
Yeah. Even if the story and characters are forgettable, the gameplay is great. Gambit system is fun
The best FF imo
@@rkbelmont1138 Vaan and Penelo are forgettable, but Basch and Balthier? No way.
When I originally played FFX on the PS2 I think one of my saves had something like 140 hours. I completed everything but Tidus Celestial Weapon. Never got it till I bought HD edition on the PS4
Where my FF8 fans at?
Me
FF8 had good graphics but a terrible story.
Just started playing 12 again! Love FF
Gameplay yea but story no. Was also kinda hard and confusing where to go
12 and 8 are the best ones
@@malachimickelonis7971facts!!
12 has always been my favorite
Playing it for the 4th time and never getting tired
I'm glad to learn they're not padding rebirth out like crazy. That was my main issue with the first remake, other than the mediocre side quests. Everything else was great, so i hope it still is
there was a bit of padding but not overblown like remake
I didn't play the original so didn't notice the padding too much and enjoyed about half of the side quests. I actually like how in-depth and fleshed out Midgar is.
@vayshah oh it was great but they had sections that were about 5 minutes if that blown out to a 2 hour section like the climb to shinra and stuff like that
rebirth the only padding was I'd say the mansion playing as cait
5:51 damn the linearity though
Yeah, those were some nice corridors I ran through for about 30 hours!
@@fuelledbylattes I know that feeling
Just bought the Twin Pack for VIIR/Rebirth, although I'm already playing through VII:R on Steam. Thought I might as well have it on PS5 too for the same price I'd get Rebirth solo
Hyped to play it. Air combat looks much better in Rebirth along with some other mechanics
FF12 was my first mainline FF game. It still blows a lot of modern games out of the water as far as content goes
We need newer versions of Final Fantasy III/VI Chrono Trigger and Lufia II remakes
Omg you get point for representing Lufia 2
Omg the ds game did not do it justice
Although the hack and slash element was a nice touch
Not Chrono Trigger. Its not touchable and will be a mistake, should they do it. Mark these words.
It is possible that Chrono Trigger remake is being considered for new gen
@@merkloe2635No it is possible a Chrono Trigger remake is being considered for a cash injection. Oh these companies... always got your back huh? lol make sure you cap your chocolate mile before you blow bubbles in it!
@timmyp6297 The FF7 Remake has been incredible so far, especially Rebirth.
If they get the same team, Chrono Trigger fans would be in for a treat, even if spread through multiple games.
They've proved that with their remakes so far anyways
So far I've played ff1-9 and enjoyed every single one for their own reasons. I'm about to start 10 soon.
10 is amazing
@@RysterialProductions Now that I've beaten it I agree 10 is probably in my top 3 favorites.
Actually enjoyed playing Final Fantasy 8 and Final Fantasy 13
FF13 OST is a banger
Thank you. You're the real one
13 is underrated
I played XI for 7 years, took a decade off, then came back to it in 2020. I still feel like there's so much to do.
Soooo cool my friend 💎💪🏽😉
I spent 90 hours on FF7 Rebirth. I did do all the side quests.
Is this just story alone or with side quests?
I am new to finally fantasy and absolutely loving it. I’ve beaten 10 and 7Remake, playing through 6 right now.
This is going to take forever to get through all the ff games I want to try
This is so exciting! I've been playing FF games for about 25 years, I wish I could rediscover some of them for the first time all over again.
Final fantasy 8 was first game, I ever pre-order back in day
longest one offline solo rpg is final fantasy 12 and the best one
FF12 is still my favourite (then 10, then 10-2 then 7RM)
I’m 57 into rebirth right now still only on chapter 12. It’s outstanding so far
I played through Final Fantasy VII twice. The first time I played it, I maxed out the timer. I know I played way over 100 hours. I had a lot of fun with that game. I'm glad they remade it.
I just realized I’ve played a lot of final fantasy games but 10 is the one I remember the most.
I play most of final fantasy, except 2 and 6 (and not including XI and XIV because it's online), I agree most of the list, I had 200hr on FF12 because it's more fun to explorer than any FF I've played, but if only gameplay wise I think FF tactic can be here somewhere not the longest, but it still take time
FF12 is one of my all time favorites!
Final Fantasy VIII is the first FF game I played and it will forever be the one that made me fall in love with this series. BUT I was never able to beat it. I got stuck in the spaceship, fighting a boss I was never able to beat without any way of making my characters stronger. I spammed my summonings so much that the moment I couldn't use them I was sooooooo weak. I would love to see it turned into another remake like Final Fantasy VII.
Currently playing Final Fantasy VII remake. Finished it. Loved it. Already have Rebirth.
I just beat rebirth, and honestly that three hour ending was brutal. I played for three hours before hitting that chapter. If I knew how little I’d be using the controller, I would’ve waited until the next day to finish. It was amazing for sure, but I was so worn by then that I couldn’t fully appreciate it. I just wanted it to end. I’ll know this for the next time on hard mode, but I won’t be seeing it for the first time at that point.
Rebirth took me about 70 hours...I didnt want it to end though.
“Time waster!” Lmfao that was personal
I’ve played every mainline FF and a few of the spin-offs but the one I’ve played most and enjoyed most was FFX. Blitzball was my game.
I love how the FF7 2nd disc remake is longer than the entire 3 disc OG game
Can you fo the list but with all the FF titles? Because i thought ffxvi average time was 40 hrs so i wpuld love to know where are the others
I had over 2000 hours in ff 11. It would have been a lot more if the gil sellers would have stopped inflating the prices of everything. I loved that game. I heard from a friend that it got a lot easier after i left. But i never went back.
Final Fantasy XI actually had a new expansion added in 2020-23 called The Voracious Resurgence.
How long does it take to beat 15 and 16?
When I played 16, it took me 50 hours to beat, plus if you want to unlock everything and get all the trophies, you need to play New Game +, on Final Fantasy Mode.
15 feels longer since you drive everywhere and sleep at night to avoid fighting deamons.
15 took about 30 hours for me, story was a bit on the shorter end
16 took me 80 hours to beat
52 hours for me and that wasn’t even trying to do everything
Final fantasy tactics is my favorite. The replay value is outstanding. Everytime i think im done with it the nostalgia pulls me back in. And its the best story of any if them, if you disagree actually play it and correct yourself.
You equip magic like equipment but instead of putting them on body parts, you equip them to stats. That’s it, that’s the junction system.
Thank you. Idk why that's so hard to comprehend. Even I understood that when I was 17. You could over power your characters with ease using the junction system
I think 10's estimate of 46 for the main story is a bit high. I play the game at least a couple times a year and yeah knowing what to do right away can cut the time down but considering I play 2-3 full tournaments of Blitzball and purposely spending a little time in each area grinding a few sphere levels and still come out at a high 30 on average.
I've never completed a final fantasy game in under 60 hours...i get side tracked easily.
I easily spent more than 100h on FFX, many sidequests are so rich and great challenges that it feels like you have to do them to feel satisfied when finishing
Lol I've never beaten ff12 in 40 hours. I beat the original twice, both times took over 100 hours. I beat the remastered ps4 version 5 times and because of the fast forward feature, it takes between 60-70 hours. Definitely my favorite FF. FF10 usually take me about 50 hours to beat but I played recently and it took over 45.
I never finished any of the PS1 FF games (7-9) cuz my playstation was at my dads and only time I really got to play those games were during summer when id see him for a few weeks. Working on 9 now
So excited for Rebirth
FFVII - I had one save at my memory card with more than 200 hs . Trying to max and duplicate every Master materia so I could have one for each character...and didn´t finish yet
Ff12 didn’t feel like 61 hours I loved it regardless. I felt like ffx felt longer
I wish that in Final Fantasy VII add it to where you can have the characters where there advent children outfits.
Yes please
So many Kottos, Earth Eaters and Don Tonberty to kill in order to fill the darn sphere grid, and beat Penance.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is definitely the longest when part 3 comes out
Final Fantasy 13 had - for a Final Fantasy - completely innovative level design and gameplay.
It just didn't help that both went in a completely bad direction with levels offering no freedom and gameplay being not fun.
At least they tried...
FFXIII was a great entry and had a great and complex battle system. Yes, it took its time to explain itself but only because the difficulty ramps up a lot later, especially for the many side quests you get for which you need well-prepared characters and paradigms.
Final Fantasy X is still my favorite game of all time! It definitely is timeless 🔥
I dont think you can really count the MMOs, as they technically don't have an ending. OK, Square have finished making updates to 11, but 14 keeps getting more expansions and updates, with new questlines to complete. Can you really complete a game at all if it's not the end of the game?
I knew how to abuse the Junction system on FF8 my 2nd favorite FF behind FFX after FF8 got a remastered version
Me looks at current playtime, hmm 189 hours. Yup, sounds about right! 🤣
I’d kill for a FFX remake
Based on what they are doing with VII Remake... absolutely not! 😅
When I saw this video here, first thing I thought of was how much time I sunk into 11 and 14. In FFXI I spent 20k hours into it and in FFXIV I spent 10k hours.
You are special if you complete FF ARR story! Amazing Expansions!
Pretty sure I sunk a minimum of 60-80 hours into all of them. My first was FF3 (6) on the SNES
Rebirth had 78 hours on the counter when i finished it. Made a few sidequests…
FF X was one of the shortest ones for me, from the games appearing on the list. Only the grind in that game is absurdly long
I would consider 11 and 14 mainline because a main line final fantasy is at its core turn based which one through 15 where is someway or another..
Which Final Fantasy game is the best way to start if I want to start of a modern Final Fantasy games? I'm interested of Final Fantasy VII Remake, XIV, XVI and defienitily Final Fantasy VII Rebirth what's coming tomorrow sooner than I tought wow. Is it worth it to buy and play Rebirth as a blind and what I should do knowing the lore? Is it good if I'll know 2 main characters Cloud and Sepiroth? I'm really excited for tomorrow's Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, I will play it on PlayStation 5. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the most expected games in 2024 and I so agree it! 🔥🔥
You can start with remake then rebirth after...there are things thag you won't get but it's fine for the most part cause you can look them up later or even play ff7 og even if it's a bit outdated....all ff games that don't have the same number are separate stories so you can begin with anyone
@@Ahmed-og2jm yeah I should but FF games are just too long for me that's the problem with those games...
@@Leo-pd4fcI’d play FFVII remake first, then maybe try another numbered entry, then play rebirth once it’s on sale.
@@jamesglover5149 yeah, that sounds good idea.
Ew
Good old days before new game+, like seriously, are there really people who just completed a 60/70 hour story, just to do it all over again a bit more difficult ?
Idk why these game have to be long for i like games like this but damb
FF13 was so long that I died IRL before I reached the ending
What about final fantasy 7 remake, 15 and 16
I am curious how 15 stacks.
ff13 took me 72 hours and that was me rushing towards the halfway point lmaoo
36 hours for FF7??? I've played through it countless times and *always* reached 99:99:99 on the clock!
Soooo how long does FF XV take then? I could’ve swore it was longer
The main story of XV is actually shorter.
I played the game for the first time a few months ago and it only took me around 30 hours
See what happens when I do side quests all the time, lol. I’m at 30 now and am barely level 25.
@@I_XenoBlack_I oooooh those take forever 😭 i got the platinum where u have to do 80 sidequests for a trophy and yeahhhhhh it takes way to long
not really. You essentially get a cheat code around chapter 4/5 in the form of the whistle which means you can power level fairly quickly, and past that the story really doesn't take that long to beat.
So its ff12 at number 1 then, since the other 2 are mmo
played ff6 when I was younger and nowhere in the world is a game that lasts 35 hours... it's much longer... consider that game has a crazy large world map with tons of optional locations/dungenon that only by the half of the game you can fast-travel with the airship and most of all, unlike modern games, it didn't give you any real advice or indication about things to do or places to visit to advance in the story! I remember to have spent whole days just to understand where I had to go or what dialogue trigger to continue the walkthrough... and last but not least, game had a lot of brutal difficulty spikes that forced the player to find some suitable farming point and grind there for hours since the amount of xp required to increase levels was just mental. Likely is >45h game, you can realistically beat it in
Bullshit 40-45 for Rebirth, I streamlined main quests and it took me 60 hours and I didn’t die once. That’s a 100+ hour game easily
you junction 100 curagas to hp
n junction 100 pains to attack
lol
The officelle ff7 rebith release is the 29.02.24 and you say an 28.02.24 that you need 40h to play this… interesting😅
Man FF8 seems SO SHORT. Even with grinding cards
FF13 pace was just terrible since you were getting in gran pulse open world only by very late in the game turning the previous linear chapters like a massive prologue. FF13-2 was the best of 13 trilogy
Took 35 hours or more to complete FF XV and FF VII: Remake
So many fantastic rpgs
I played a lot of final fantasy 13. It's my favorite final fantasy
FF8 REMAKE needs to happen !!!! I wanna see Balamb Garden in its fullest beauty and i want to fight the big ass spider in the first SEED TEST MISSION in Dollet... !!!!
I still need to beat FF9 and FF10
I’ve played through Final Fantasy seven multiple times when I was younger and I don’t think I spent less than 30 hours on the first desk each time lol. I need to play Final Fantasy six I think that and nine should have a remake. Nine was good I only played it once. Bon fantasy eight I played a couple of times I liked the story Almost teared up when you get into Ragnarok and have the moment with the girl. And then Final Fantasy 10 also played through a couple times and same as you, got a couple of friends into Final Fantasy through that game. 10 does something special that the others I think don’t
FFIX can take FAR longer to complete when you try acquiring hidden items or steals in the game. 😊
I've beaten 4 in just over 10 hours and 7 in 14 hours
Um I did the main story like of ff14 in like 6 hours it’s really not fair to count the time of grinding an mmo
How is FF7 Rebirth at 45 hours. I’ve sunk 96 hours into it so far and haven’t finished the campaign yet
8 felt like it took forever to beat
Me too but using game shark 💿 saved time never beaten 7 but came close during the final boss fight 9 was easy x was good x2 was fun xii was hard
Same kind of list for dragon quest games too
Ffxiv since 2015, how many years?
Loved FFXIV it was so good
Rebirth was NOT 40-45 hours. Not even close, and I didn’t 100% it.
FFVII for me can be between 35 - 100 hours depending on how hard I go, doing everything is closer to 100 hours, got a current playthrough on the switch at 26 hours in during disk 2 while cloud and Tifa are in middle, already got KOTR 😂 FFVIII always takes me a minimum of 60 hours, at least 20 of that is Triple Triad 😂 Rebirth I’m 86 Hours in and in Chapter 12, think I’ll probs be over 100 hours by the time I’m finished that. My last FFX save I done everything and I’m still working towards platinum and I’m around 100 hours in that too 😂 again FFXII depending on if your doing everything will take double the time stated 😂 moral of the comment is, 100%ing these games takes a long time lol
Should preface... without sidequests.. FF7 rebirth is sitting at 100-150hrs for players
