I'm 72 and have gone through a lot of bikes. Bought a 2008 c90t 3 years ago, and find it is the best handling and most comfortable cruiser I have ever owned. Recomend this bike 100%
I ride a 2009 suzuki c90t and I personally find it to be one of the most balanced bikes out there. It's so comfortable you feel like your sitting on a couch and there's plenty of power if you need it. I took a trip from Maine down to Pennsylvania on it last year and the bike never let me down. I'm thinking I might even go to Florida on it this year
I have an '06 and have had it for about 4 years. Very smooth and comfortable ride. My only gripe is the small gas tank. Get 50+ MPG, but can only go 180 miles max on a full tank. I put Cobra drag pipes on mine and it sounds great. I know its not a Harley, but I have everything I could want for about 1/4 the price of an equal Harley.
If you're getting 180 miles you're doing great. Most I've seen (myself included) are looking for a gas station around 120. I do have an open top filter, pipes and a fuel programmer though.
Bought a c90T last yr, first bike, actually learned how to ride on it. I love it. Came fully dressed with pipes and batwing, highway pegs and floor boards the works, I only paid $2500 for it and love it. Friends of mine both have Suzuki bikes, (c90 and c50). C50 little small on highway but Suzuki bikes are very reliable. Can’t go wrong!
Had my 2000 VL1500 LC going on 10 years now. I love it. Reliable, powerful & sounds amazing with Vance & Hines Long shots, Stage 3 jet kit in carbs and DYNA 3000 ignition. Gets 45 miles per gallon. Also has the full windshield and Mustang leather seats...Heavy duty aftermarket Clutch and springs....lots of good stuff ... The only way I would ever replace it is with a M-109 ...
I have had a 2006 C90T for over a year now. I have put over 5,000 miles on it and love it. It is a road hog and great for long distances! Very comfortable. No stinging ass from vibrations after a 7 hour ride. Amazing acceleration! You can pass cars with a flick of the wrist. With the long shot Exhausts the bike sounds great too. No sneaking away from home or out of the neighborhood with this beast! The bike looks great too.
Get a C90 if you think you're a Harley guy but aren't sure if you want to spend the money or deal with the maintenance. I've enjoyed mine immensely. It gets lots of compliments, rides well, and requires minimal maintenance.
@thecommodity6957 It's powerful enough, and definitely a good entry level bike. They're very popular. If you're a bigger person and doing a lot of two-up or highway riding you'll appreciate the power of more cubic inches though.
I've ridden my 05 C90T from Utah to Wisconsin every summer for the past 6 years. Heading out again in June. It's been a dream to ride. I'm 72 and hope to keep riding it for a while.
Bought my ‘06 C90t a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Graduated to that bike from a Suzuki GZ250 so this thing is like driving a vette after driving a cavalier. Took a little bit to get used to it but I love it. Mine also has the windshield which helps a lot.
I just bought a 2005 C90T with 4,500 miles on it for $4k. I cant wait to start riding it! Its also black, like this one! I'm going to do mini ape hangers, like this one! This will be my second motorcycle. My first one was a 2006 m50 Boulevard. I really like the boulevard lineup, but I was craving something a little more powerful, and larger framed. Hoping to do some longer trips in my future. I also spent a little money on some nicer riding gear. Im going to take safety a little more serious now. Hoping I can make my ride more comfortable. So I drive my bike more to take advantage of the great gas mileage that comes with motorcycling with daily work commutes.
I just got at 05 with 8000 miles on it. Took it for its first long ride and love it. So comfortable. Love that the gas tank is under the seat to help lower the Center of gravity. Such a nice ride.
I think I’ve seen two of you videos, where In both you start with the word of God. I’m speechless, blessed be God for that. May his Holy Spirit, be in our actions. Wicket.
I bought an 08 as well. One of the best values in big cruisers. Since it was my first bike I didn't want to sink in a lot of money and not like it. It's easy to maintain, bulletproof drivetrain, and rides like a dream.
Just bought an 07 C90T as my very first bike. Really enjoying it! As a big guy, it is so comfortable which was the biggest selling point for me. Nice bike! Still can't wait for a Heritage or Road King though!
@@doocieonu me? Im not a beginner lol. And yeah the boulevard is doing great, but id love to find something bigger. This one is alright, but need a bigger motor

I picked one up about a month ago and I love it, got a programmer to throw on for the spring to get a few more ponies but she rides like a dream, perfect for long rides minus the small gas tank
The gas tank is pretty small, but it improves the balance. I'm thinking that when I start going on trips the tank will provide just enough range to where me and the wife will want to get off and stretch our legs anyway.
Yep, agreed! Have a 2019 C50...best cruiser for economy, comfort, low maintenace, plenty of power if you aren't expecting racing...lol. The fuel injection and shaft drive provide incredible smooth ride, lightweight, perfect for us older cats!😎🤘

I was just about to say none of the suzuki cruzers have 6 gears neithers do the M series. They are all 5 speeds. Only thier sports and or standard / nakid bikes have 6 gears. It did not seem like it was screaming that much like the C50 does at 70. The gear ratios may have changed. The C50 really needs a 6th gear.
The C90 has a higher (numerically lower) final drive because of the power. A common mod for the C50 is to put in a C90 rear gear which makes it a bit more relaxed on the highway. My C90 cruises easily at 80 all day long.
@@omaryanez1529 Check out this post on the Volusia forum where a member discusses his impressions. Seems like a good mod. www.volusiariders.com/58-motors-transmissions-drives/220435-sharing-my-impressions-c90-into-c50-final-drive-mod.html
Omar Yanez I have an 08 c50t and I completely agree with needing a 6th gear. Cobra drag pipes without baffles at 70mph gets a little loud to me, can’t imagine what it’s like to everyone else at 6:00am
Generally I'd say no, but if you're a bigger guy and looking for something you won't have to upgrade in a few months then maybe. I bought one as my first bike and it's worked out pretty well. There are times when I wish I'd started on a smaller bike but I also know I wouldn't have ridden as much because it would have been uncomfortable (I'm 6'5" and 220).
I had the C90 and a couple of Intruder 1400's. The C90 was a better bike in many ways: Better brakes, suspension and comfort however I loved the 1400's but not the 1500. The 1400 would simply leave the 1500 C90 for dead. It was way more fun. The 1400 was a higher compression motor with better gearing in a bike that was 150 lbs lighter. In comparison: Drop the C90 down a gear and grab a handful and all it did was make noise. The 1400 Intruder would fly. Engineer brother said it was like driving a big block car. I wish I still had it.
I've been a devoted Volusia (VL800 / C800 / C50) rider since 2009 - I bought a brand new one in 2009 and rode it up until 2020, when I sold it (had to, unfortunately). This year I got back to it, having bought a 2003 model. I tried its big brother, the VLR1800, but I figured that bike was too heavy for safe & comfortable riding for me, especially the day-to-day one, e.g. from home to the office and back or cruising to a grocery store just to get some basic daily stuff, etc.. Once it moved it was OK, but otherwise its weight was really showing. However, I also tried the VL 1500 LC and I have to say, I was very surprised it how much closer to VL 800 it felt, comparatively, in terms of stand-still handling & afore-mentioned city cruising. I seriously considered it (and I still am), however, there are two things that hold me off from buying this one in an instant.. 1st and foremost, the 3,8 gallons of the tank, which limits the effective range to something slightly over 200km (~125mi) - compared to VL800's tested 300km (~185mi) yet with a reserve for some 30km more (~19mi). As I am a huge fan & lover of Austrian & Slovenian Alps, riding there (almost) every year, the limited full-tank range aka the necessity to re-fuel more often than I have to now, appears to me to be potentially quite annoying. The second one - the models sold here that I could find for sale this year (Slovakia) were the ones with only a single front brake disc, which (IMHO) is definitely not sufficient for a bike this size & weight & power. Well, here I think I'll just have to find the proper one, in case I decide to get one 🙂
Just bought one so far I love it I also have a c50 big difference but love both also have a650 versus I just love bikes! Really like how you add scriptures thanks!!
David I’m about to get back into riding and strongly considering getting the boulevard .. love the c90 but I’m thinking on getting the c50 first.. my question is size.. are the bikes the same size other then the engine displacement?.. I’m a tall guy .. I’ve sat on the c90 and it fits great but really like the lines of the 50.. any feedback would be helpful.. thanks ride safe..
The Boulevard C90s have dual disc... unlike the many of the competition... Simply one of the many reasons I bought it. I wanted that extra braking power when carrying a passenger...
Got my 05 Nov 07 Put Memphis Shades low tinted shield on it, Cobra pipes & a pair of Flea Market Road King Custom Bags. Looks great. Reliable for the most part. Had to rplace the stator quite early into it. Shaft makes it smooth, but laccks ste snappy feel of a belt drive. Got 60 K on it now and getting it ready for this season.
I bought my 07 c90t in 2017. Good bike, a little heavy which makes it a little awkward in the twistys. Lots of torque in low gears, top speed is around 145ish km/h but really starts to struggle around 130. I heard you say 6th gear in the video which would be nice, mine has 5. over all good bike. But 1 more gear and a little more top speed and better bags would be nice. Thinking of upgrading to the 109.
Cool bike. A little less head movement would be better, sir. Was that I-81 you were traveling on? That's not too far from me and I like that you always seem to have a gold wing or two handy.
Spot lights don't fit with stock windshield, I think they will fit with memphis shades. Got '19 C90T and M90, can't find nuttin made to fit......well it might if earlier models have the same fit, even Suzuki won't say anything about fit and they don't have made to fit anything either. I have bike with 12in apes, love'm, had not considered putting on C90T.......but now
Am about to buy a 2005 C90t..whats everyone's impressions? Heard there's an issue with the bike during hot starts...read about a couple fixes....is this a common problem? Any info and feedback be terrific
I owned an 05 for 8 years. Never experienced issues during hot starts, the stator was known to overheat and could fail (happened to me once which was not fun, let the bike cool and was able to ride it home but had to replace the part)
There have been some issues with the decompression cable failing or requiring adjustment which has resulted in hard starts. It's a pretty easy fix if it happens.
Joe Zuppardo No way man. It has a rev limiter, you can’t hurt it. It’s a common misconception with this bike. It pulls hard until 4-1/2 and revs out till 56 hundred. To take full advantage you need a G-man bully tuner, free flow pipes and an open top K&N, then ride it like you stole it. I’ve been doing it since new on my ‘07

There are times when I wish I'd started on a smaller bike but I also know I wouldn't have ridden as much because it would have been uncomfortable (I'm 6'5" and 220).
@@channell11 I appreciate your comment very much thank you!!!
I have a C90 05, love it
Me too man. Great bike.
Intruder had skinny front tire which what put me off.Didn't seem good handling bike and very stretched rake.
M90 is even better👍🏻
David Wells I’ve got an 05 c50 and am considering getting a c90. Ride about them same?
David I’m about to get back into riding and strongly considering getting the boulevard .. love the c90 but I’m thinking on getting the c50 first.. my question is size.. are the bikes the same size other then the engine displacement?.. I’m a tall guy .. I’ve sat on the c90 and it fits great but really like the lines of the 50.. any feedback would be helpful.. thanks ride safe..
A big complaint I saw on another video was it only has a single disc and a drum brake. My Virago had that and didn’t bother me.
The Boulevard C90s have dual disc... unlike the many of the competition... Simply one of the many reasons I bought it. I wanted that extra braking power when carrying a passenger...
would you recommend this for a 6 ft 4 inches 100 kilo guy please do let me know.
definitely will work well. There may be other bikes that do it a little better. But, if the price is right, youll be making a good choice with a c90
I got my first c109 love it awesome bike wish I got one sooner
Thanks to this video I got my self a 2007 c90t and am in love with it. Just do tell
My wife I said that!!!😂
Buying one tomorrow
I have a 2005 c90 with bat wing back rest hard bags and 19000 kmeters paid 3500 Canadian for beautiful bike.....
Suzuki Road King
Got my 05 Nov 07 Put Memphis Shades low tinted shield on it, Cobra pipes & a pair of Flea Market Road King Custom Bags. Looks great. Reliable for the most part. Had to rplace the stator quite early into it. Shaft makes it smooth, but laccks ste snappy feel of a belt drive. Got 60 K on it now and getting it ready for this season.
Just replaced the stator on my 05 at 15k miles, I've read that this is the average mileage for the first stator to go out
@@southwireslave I can't be arsed replacing mine, just trickle charge every night👍😆
@@Peter_Pepper_Love it is not easy believe me
@@southwireslave oh I do, I got quoted over $1000:00NZ dollars just for parts 🥴
Only complaint is the transmission is little clunky when shifting.
Have vn2ooo 1st / 2nd CLUNK / clatter its annoying never mentioned in forum's oil clear powers up nicely 🇦🇺
I have a stock 2004 model carburated and reaches more tan 170 km/h, gears. It seems a bit strange what you say in your comment
@@guilletous89 my bike is fuel injected so that may be the difference. Just my experience though. I'm not a mechanic.
Great video 👍🏾
Would this be a good first bike
"There's all this chrome over the front and I can see my reflection in it...I look cool!" LOL
It doesn't have the windshield. It's just a c90 with bags
It appears to be modified C90T.
@grandpa5x Pulliam it still has the spotlights and badging
Cool bike. A little less head movement would be better, sir. Was that I-81 you were traveling on? That's not too far from me and I like that you always seem to have a gold wing or two handy.
I rode superbikes. Looking at C90 or M109. I am 1.8m tall, 80kgs. I want it for work and pleasure. Pkease help with advice.
I have a C109rt and it's freaking bad to the bone! I bet the C90T is pretty good too🙃😉
C109s are awesome. You don't seem them much but they're great to ride.
@@channell11 - My mechanic isn’t a fan of the 109’s. usually large repair bills. C50’s and C90’s are much more reliable.

Spot lights don't fit with stock windshield, I think they will fit with memphis shades.
Got '19 C90T and M90, can't find nuttin made to fit......well it might if earlier models have the same fit, even Suzuki won't say anything about fit and they don't have made to fit anything either.
I have bike with 12in apes, love'm, had not considered putting on C90T.......but now
2.7 gall9n tank averages 120 miles between fill ups. That would torture me on trips
Is it fast ?
Im planning on getting this at 14k miles for 4k is it worth it?
Am about to buy a 2005 C90t..whats everyone's impressions? Heard there's an issue with the bike during hot starts...read about a couple fixes....is this a common problem?
Any info and feedback be terrific
I owned an 05 for 8 years. Never experienced issues during hot starts, the stator was known to overheat and could fail (happened to me once which was not fun, let the bike cool and was able to ride it home but had to replace the part)
There have been some issues with the decompression cable failing or requiring adjustment which has resulted in hard starts. It's a pretty easy fix if it happens.
Now i have to see shawns goldwing review.
I read something that said 58 horses. I find that hard to believe. 1462cc should produce more than that.
6 gears??
This is stock handlebars? if not, what is it called?
Look like 12" mini apes. Factory come with a lower wide drag style bars
Mini apes
I love my C-90 I wish it had a bigger gas tank but otherwise great comfortable riding bike :)
Commenting on the wind ?
Seriously ?
LOL ! OMGROL !
Hey Man, great video. I've just bought an 07 C90. Out of interest what is the difference between the C90T and the C90? Cheers Col
I think it's just the handlebars?
C90T came with leather bags and full windshield /fairing... the bars on this bike in the video are aftermarket...
No 6th gear
I have c50 but next year i might be looking at c90
Edit:
I said it I've done it . Picking up c90t on Wednesday😊
You still wind those bikes up way too high in the rpm's before shifting. Learn how to ride a cruiser! SMH...
I’ve been doing it since new on my ‘07
Suzuki's cruisers like to ride high rpms. Less vibration
It aint a diesel, it can run over 3k 😆
It's not a Harley. It can revs without no issues.
“Sniff!”
3.7 gallon fuel tank on a bike that big? Not enough.
Small fuel tank is a "no go " for me ! Bad design.
Fifth gear. I own that bike. 12345
Def needs valve work bad.
Cruisers are bruisers. 🤕
skip to 29sec to hear words of wisdom!
Eniebadie boelevart voor sale live in Holland let my nouw

Ridge runner 1 did you buy it, I mean, steal it? What a deal.
Useless information, talks rubbish. One would not make a decision on purchasing based on this.
He not good rider at all watch him when gets on Highway scary he turns bars like dam car
You not good English look how no punctuation poor grammar worse communication skill
CC C.Elliott. If he turned the bars like a car and didn't fall off, wouldn't that mean he's a better rider
"It has buttons or something..." You might want to familiarize yourself with the bike before you try and sell one, bud...geez...
Just an ad....
Darn I’m not first
slow
it has torque of an r1 that comes too early.. but hosepower of a 400cc bike! hahaha
I got 2000 800cc intruder its light Quick And agile and way more fun to ride overall that thing is for old men😂😂
