Hi Sean, I just purchased a 2016 C90 BOSS with 315km on the clock! A 6 year old brand new bike. Your reviews influenced my decision to buy a COPY and I love it. When I release the clutch and start to move there is a strange squeakish sound which I can't work out. Can you offer any suggestions as to what it might be? It has me stumped. Love your channel and the words of wisdom.
What's the handling like compared to the m109r in down for the "muscling into corners" but if they have the same lean angle its 109r. Prove me wrong lol

I consider those type of bikes, 'Bastard Bikes." They don't fit anything. They are not the fastest (M109 owns that category). They do not own the torque world (Rocket III owns that). They do not handle the best (sport bikes own that world). It has off set pistons so it does not produce that "potato, potato, potato (or as AL Gore spelled it "potatoe") sweet sound. No bags or fairing for comfort. It doesn't own any category and it is born from a one bike known parent. It's parent is the M109 so it is a Bastard child of the bike world... Kind of does not do anything real well and is expensive for an old "Japanese Universal Machine." If you try to turn it into a specific category (Genre as my college English Literature teacher insisted on calling a "category" and she was not French teaching English = an oxymoron) of a bike, it ends up costing a lot and you never get that "perfect" fit. It never becomes what you should have bought in the first place. Tourer, sport bike, sport tourer or best in its category.
@@lonniestevens7963 You have me by 9 years. I have owned over 40 street motorcycles (no dirt bikes) in my 46 years of riding. None of them ride the same. Of the 6 Sportsters that I have owned, only one has fit me well, the others were painful on any ride over 100 miles. My 1976 XL 1000, with a stroker motor, was good for 40 miles at best, then numbness set in and it would be low on gas by that time (bar hopper deluxe). I agree with your statement.
First of all, it was Dan Quayle who made the "potatoe" gaff, not Al Gore. Al actually has a completely developed frontal cortex, unlike that other nimrod. Second of all, the "potato, potato" sound is actually patented by Harley, so you won't hear it on any other bike. Honda tried, and Harley sued them. The sound is actually achieved by timing the engine in such a way that it creates a misfire. You are literally listening to a technically malfunctioning engine. But at least you get to pay twice as much for it.
Why do you compare to a Harley it's not a Harley....Harleys are a union of brotherhood if you don't have one you are excepted but you are still not one of them case closed HAMMA down.

Had a 2000 Suzuki vl1500 intruder the wife and I bought new and we loved the bike. The 1500 or 90 is a good running motor, and really dependable.
84,000 + miles on mine.

All cruisers are beginner bikes aside from the weight..... their wheelie rating is usually -6 out of 10 and suck at turning
