    You didn't mentioned about cruise mode.
    900 gt also has cruise mode but 850 sports does not...personally I think cruise is useful if you are going on long rides.

    I Loved this video❤, this will help other folks on how to narrow down when it come to choosing their dream Super bikes. In this video both of you have quite well explained minute things and prefernce that you took into consideration while opting for 850 sport. Sachin gave few tech savvy punches to sumup the entire video.

    Congratulations and welcome to Triumph Tiger Family. Only one suggestion is that instead of Barkbusters use you can use shorty or foldable levers, if you plan to do any serious trails. Based on my experience of 1 lakh+ km on my Tiger 800 XR, where I removed two-point Barkbusters and put foldable levers from Puig soon after the first test of gravity in a trail, back in 2016; almost 10K on my 900RP and first aftermarket accessory I put after taking delivery is foldable levers, again from Puig). Few (including me) have managed to break levers with Barkbusters and also snap the clutch cable end off. And this is weight saving + clean looks, you can put plastic or single point mount guards for wind and tree branch protection. The upper tank guards from Triumph have a tendency to swivel and dent the tank on little harder falls in trails (one my friend dented the tank of 900RP both sides during a Spiti ride and once before that). You might want change it to something from T-rex racing (I use this), or Hepco-Becker solid series. Safe and happy miles on the Tiger, it's a gem of a machine.

    interesting video as usual... you guys have a very pleasant and attractive vibe in your videos...
    I'm glad that i got someone from mumbai itself as one doesn't have to imagine stuff to connect to the feedback and reviews...
    I have two questions - how bearable or unbearable is the heat on 850 sport or 900 gt in the city? (can you use the bike for daily commute mostly in mumbai western side) also do tell me about highway tours on heating
    and how bad are the vibrations on the bike?
    thanks in advance.
    be safe. keep riding and making the lovely videos. 😊🙏

    Hi.. congrats on the new bike. I have been following you. I am also planning to buy an adv tourer bike. Initially, I had to choose between Versys 650 and tiger 660 (just launched recently). I was quite fascinated by tiger 660 and in that 650 segments, tiger 660 is the best option I assume... But after the launch, I watched a few videos and considering the price, I got many negative reviews with fewer positive points. Now I am again confused. I am looking out for options where I can get a good value for money bike that delivers good power, speed, and comfort. And mostly it will be my 1st and last big bike as affording such bikes and doing maintenance is not easy for a middle-class person like me.
    So I am thinking about tiger 850 sports. I am totally new to this riding world and trying to make both of my dreams (being a rider vlogger, owning a super/big bike) at a time. So I am very much concerned about my decisions.
    Could you please suggest?
    Or If any viewer has riding experience, could you please help me?

    I agree to the point where u said that the bike is got as per Kiran’s needs and requirements as she has to be really comfortable on the bike and hence in long rides that very important .. it’s never about a certain bike preference but yea the bike abs to suit you and that’s very important
    Hope to ride with u Kiran and sachin at least a short ride

    Very good review & reason for 850 Sport. I had booked 850 Sport same color but then switched to 900GT coz had heated Seats & Grip since I live in colder region (Philadelphia). After taking the bike next day, it fell at Stop sign (mainly coz my Gujarati confidence had kicked in. ) and broke the hand guards and break liver - so I agree to review comments handguards are useless unless replaced. Belated Congratulations!!! Jalsa karo baapu !!! :-)

    • @kkhalifah1019
      @kkhalifah1019 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I test rode the 900 GT before ending up buying the 850 Sport. Engine-wise, I found there's no perceptible difference unless you whack it past 6000RPM (in 6th gear that's already 140km/h on the clock, same gearbox in both bikes). Both bikes make most of their torque at well under 3000RPM and the torque stays relatively flat all throughout the rev range -- that's what I love the most about this new t-plane triple. The diff is that the 850's torque peaks at 6,700RPM while the 900 squeezes out a couple more at 7,300RPM. So to me, if you're not habitually wringing the engine the real-world diff is actually negligible.

    Congratulations guys on the 850 sport, hope you have some amazing rides.
    I have a few question.
    Did you reject the versys 1000 only because of the weight and the 17" front wheels? Since both of you like to off road. If someone were to consider the versys for being used only as a tourer, what would your opinion be on the Versys 1000?
    Last question, how do you like the after sales service of Kawasaki?

    • @WROOMWithKIRANSACHIN
      @WROOMWithKIRANSACHIN  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Weight and Front tyre size was main deciding factor, it's a good machine for road tours and There's not much difference in Kawasaki & Triumph Service costs. So if you are inclined towards then Versys is a Good option with more power.

    Been riding an 800 XR for 4 yrs.. Been thinking of replacing it with T900GT..main reason the 800 being top heavy and I ride two up with my wife 75% of the time... The short TD I did with 850 wasn't so good...Didn't get around to do a longer TD... Honda was gracious to give the Africa Twin DCT for two days...both of us absolutely loved the looks and comfort of the bike.... But too expensive... And the sound of a twin is not so good... The smoothness of the 800 and the scream of the Triple at higher RPM is something difficult to let go..
