I’m 5’2” And ride 2018 tiger 800 xcx, low seat in high position, lowering link in rear and front forks dropped 10mm though the triple clamp. Confidence is a big part of riding. Great vid👍

Hi! in looking at getting a triumph 800 xcx. I'm planning of lowering it like you have done. Do both your feet touch the ground without an issue like having to lean over to have your foot flat on the ground?

Great vid, and I did a similar thing. I’m a 5’5” female and bought a Suzuki V-Strom with a 33” seat height. I cut the seat down myself, and ordered boots with high heels AND thicker soles all the way along the boot sole. That worked!

Thanks mate, very good info and video for average/short riders getting confused to buy a proper tourer like a tiger, I just parted with my Bonneville A3 which I owned for 3 years and came across this video which increased my confidence to opt for tiger as my next bike, I am 5 foot 7 and I now have all the confidence, appreciate your good work once again.

Great presentation you put together. I ride a 2018 Tiger XRT and am fortunate enough to be able to flat foot the bike. I just wanted to say that you will not regret purchasing this. In my 26 years of riding, it is by far the best motorcycle I have ridden. Lightweight, fast and comfortable. God Bless you and safe riding my friend.

I tried the same in Germany when I rented Triumph Tiger 800 XRT. It helped me boost my confidence riding across Alps. Those additional 20mm reduction! Thank you! All the other tourers like BMW and Ducatis are super tall. Unfortunate for short riders but thanks to this accesories we also can enjoy these rides.

I I am so grateful that I watched your video. I too am short. So when your title said am I too short for the tiger of course I clicked on it. I am 5 foot three and owned the tiger 800 low version which was great. I wanted the standard height version because I like to ride canyons at a nice crisp pace. I can tiptoe with the stock seat in the low position. I Purchased the low seat as well. But when I installed it on my bike it was the same height as the stock seat in the low position. Now here’s where it gets good. Watching your video I learned that my low seat has an adjustment that lowers it another 20 mm. I can’t wait to try it out. Thank you so much for your video. I own the 2020 tiger GT pro and I have 2600 miles on it so far. I love this bike. Enjoy your new bike!

@@harishsharma7095 I just change the oil once a year. I Don’t pay attention to the gas mileage as I do not use the bike as a commuter. It’s only for fun. I’m going to guess about 42 to 46 miles per gallon. This is the fourth try a motorcycle that I have owned and I have never had a problem with any of them.
