My mistake on my previous comment! I realized I hadn’t installed the WiFi antenna on my dig uno yet. I could connect in AP mode because it was right next to my laptop, but couldn’t find the WiFi network. Installed the antenna and now I’m good. Thanks!
if i have a diguno (with ae+ expansion) flashed with espixelstick how many pixels can I run per port? espixelstick page says 680 but the github says 800. And is that total pixels that the esp32 can handle? or per output?
@@MrGeoffification I’m not sure what the maximum number of pixels per port but I have run 400 per port without any issues. All controllers have a maximum but you have consider the refresh rate.
@@thechristmaslightguy so sorry for all the questions- but when I get to the web gui I don’t have an effects tab. Is the effects tab on an old version of espixelstick? Or do I have something misconfigured? Or is it cause I’m using a dig uno? I’d like to do some testing but can’t seem to figure out how to just send basic rgb.

No worries. I have done the exact same thing before.
Awesome, Thank you for this video. Looks a lot easier than the installer from before.
You're welcome!
Great info!!
Thank you. I’m glad you find the video useful.
Thank You, looks similar to wled.
Yes. It is very similar to the WLED installer.

@@MrGeoffification On the secondary input set to effects. Once you set it to effect then, the effects section will appear.
@@thechristmaslightguy got it! Thanks!!
Also- for anyone in the future wondering- I was able to get at least 690 pixels on one port. (With plenty of power injection)
