Crocheted TEN YEARS. Five professionally selling. Honey you are the 1st person I ever understood how to make magic circle! And HA you weren't even trying to show it! And quite possibly that is why I finally saw it. Thank you. And cant wait to make some of these. I actually paused the video at 3:39mins just to make this comment. Now...on to the tutorial lol.
Excellent pattern! It is simple yet elegant and is simple to modify to accommodate differences in bobble size and/or crochet tension. Thank you so much! ~peace and love~
I so loved your just so eazy crocheted ball balls great colours .im making them for christmas gifts for my craft group ladys at our xmas party 🎉 🥳 Thank you very much
Love these colors! The cranberry and green are beautiful! I prefer cotton for xmas ornaments. They are perfect! 💕❤💕🤶🎅👍😁 I think you could do blue and white too! 💙💙💙💙
These are very pretty! I've got a bunch of that variegated red-green-white Lily Sugar n Cream yarn that I might use along with a solid or two. Just for experimenting fun! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Ophelia, Your video tutorial was very pretty to look at with the choice of colours you selected. The tutorial was easy to follow and my bubble turned out lovely crocheting the sunburst pattern using a hint of green as my magic circle, then red, followed by white. Thank you very much and hope its not raining today (ha ha) Your work is beautiful! Happy Happy Holidays-----
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us. 😊 This is super cute! Wonderful idea, gorgeous pattern. I can't wait to gift these during the holidays! 🎄💕
Ehm... I'm rather new to this and I'm a bit confused.... in row 2, when you start with your red yarn.... Aren't you doing a double-crochet-2-in-one-stitch or a double-crochet-2-cluster instead of a double-crochet-2-together? A double-crochet-2-together would be where you do the two dc's in two different stitches and end up with one stitch less in your stitch count, right? I think this little bauble pattern is great! It's fun to do such little projects and your tutorial shows very well how to make a bauble. I am definitely going to make a bunch of them to decorate the multi-layered crocheted Christmas tree in this video... th-cam.com/video/px87hzGfGl8/w-d-xo.html
I got confused there, too, and finally gave up and found a different tutorial. It worked perfectly, and I'm now back to crocheting baubles. They ARE fun and so cute! I'm stuffing mine!
croccatcher yes, every mc u can replace with ch2, ch3... and ss into first ch and than do SC. how many ch u do it depends of your second row and how many SC u have to do in mc, if there's a lot of them u do the bigger chain. hope I help u. happy crocheting
Actually, no you cant as you would have a hole in the middle of your bauble letting the colour of your bauble shine through! I have a video on magic circle or there are lots of tutorials, do try again!
actually you can't, as there would be a hole in the middle of the bauble letting the colour of the actual bauble shine through, so best to persevere with the magic circle!!
Ophelia Talks also possible that's all I want to say. although ones u learn mc I find it easier. here is just one explanation of alternatives for mc, without a hole www.planetjune.com/blog/tutorials/magic-ring-right-handed/ have a nice day. love ur crocheting
if you are having trouble with a magic circle you can always use your slip knot as the magic circle. Just make your normal slipknot and then work directly into it as your "magic circle" and it will tighten the same. just be sure to leave a fairly long tail ao you can open it up as you work your stitches.
It would be very very helpful and would save alot of time if there was a written pattern somewhere. I dont understand how the video is free but there isn't anyway to get the written instructions and product list somewhere. Ive gone to all your sites, stores, and ytube channel and there isn't anything that lists what we need.
Sad to say I had to scrap this halfway through. I’m not sure what I did wrong but it started looking off around row 4 and it was too late to frog it. I wish there was a written pattern to follow along with because honestly the voiceover was a bit confusing. I feel some steps needed to be clarified more.
Beautiful pattern; however, Ophelia talks way too much. There is way too much “extraneous chatter” that is unrelated to the pattern and is very distracting. The best video tutorials keep it simple and to the point.
@terri Yost, TH-cam is all about keeping it real, her channel is called Ophelia TALKS. I think this is a great tutorial! I was looking for any of your tutorials but unfortunately, I could not find any.
I made a bunch of these last yr & stuffed them & made balls. I gave them to my grandchildren to play with. They loved them so much.

Hi Othello Great tutorial vert easy to follow you
Beautiful, excelente!!
très très beaux MERCIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Merry Christmas 🎄🎅
I wish mine would get that curve like yours, mine are coming out flat, it makes it a little bit harder when putting them together
Make sure you do not continue to do the increases….
I made one and your instructions were so easy to follow.
Hi, I just love these, trying to get the same yarn as you. Thank u very much.
Ehm... I'm rather new to this and I'm a bit confused.... in row 2, when you start with your red yarn.... Aren't you doing a double-crochet-2-in-one-stitch or a double-crochet-2-cluster instead of a double-crochet-2-together?

Hello! Are there any restrictions to selling items made using your pattern?
Nope there are not, apart from sending me a picture of your makes??? I just curious like that!! LOL
So nice!!!!!
Ophelia approximately how many baubles can you crochet using the 3 colour balls of yarn,(150grams)please,
I'm sorry it was a long time ago and l never wrote it down. Thank you, Anja x
que lindo demais obrigada professora bom
I don’t have cotton yarn. Would acrylic yarn work. I’m guessing it’s an aran weight?
The yarn doesn't really matter Julie, just use what you have, enjoy. Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks thank you. I’ll have a go. I’m doing an hexagon blanket following your tutorial too
Hi love these! Can you tell me what size balls did you buy from Amazon. They don't come in mm. Thanks
They should be about 2 2 1/2 in balls. 2.5 cm 25 cm to an inch so 5 cm is 2 inches
Thanks for the response. She talks in mm and you answered in cm. Confused.@@lindastrandquist2429
Please help, are you mesuring the diamiter or circumference of your bauble mine don't say on the pack 🙈
If you measure the circumference then half it to make the circles that should work, good luck Anja x
@OpheliaTalks i made one half but addapted it a bit. The last section is an alpine stich on mine, may I send you a picture?
Is there a written pattern? My mom only uses written. Thank you
Sorry but this doesn’t have a written pattern, maybe you could make notes of the stitches while watching the video? Anja x
Can this be done without the magic circle it's something I can't do very well and get frustrated with it
croccatcher yes, every mc u can replace with ch2, ch3... and ss into first ch and than do SC. how many ch u do it depends of your second row and how many SC u have to do in mc, if there's a lot of them u do the bigger chain. hope I help u. happy crocheting

I'm sorry Jaimie, this is one of my older videos, I have learnt a lot over the years, maybe l'll redo this one. Thank you, Anja x
Where do you find the pattern? I can’t seem to find it?
There is no written pattern, sorry, Anja x
where is the link to the pattern?
I do not generally provide a written pattern, sorry! Thanks for watching! xxx
how to make it a little bigger?
use a bigger hook, or thicker yarn!
i have 3 diff.sizes of balls
you'll just have to have a go and measure each time... good luck!

Thanks for watching my video Iris Odstrcil and keep crocheting. Anja xxx💕🌈💕
Great video but as you need to remind people you are using US terminology which will confuse newbies
I do love theses baubles,
I mention it in most of my videos.... i think it is helpful! Thanks for watching! xxx
This video goes wayyyy too fast. Cute ornaments, but not for beginners.
Stephanie Biondi you can always pause it....
Beautiful pattern; however, Ophelia talks way too much. There is way too much “extraneous chatter” that is unrelated to the pattern and is very distracting. The best video tutorials keep it simple and to the point.
Thanks for watching my video Terri Yost and keep crocheting. Anja xxx💕🌈💕
@terri Yost, TH-cam is all about keeping it real, her channel is called Ophelia TALKS. I think this is a great tutorial! I was looking for any of your tutorials but unfortunately, I could not find any.
I find her chatter keeps the followers company. We had a good laugh too when it started raining! You can always mute the video if you don't like it.
