I have not enough words to properly thank you for doing all of these translations after waiting years and years after the game was even announced back then. And specially thank you for this song, it has been one of my favorite songs from Jun Maeda ever since this version came out. But now knowing the full context of when this song plays in the story I can't hope but to feel like I rediscovered why I love this song so much... Thank you for the translation!!!!
It's my favorite HBR song so I can only hope that I did justice to its beautiful lyrics but it makes me happy to hear that I was able to share the emotions Maeda has put into HBR
Some (if not all) of the songs/BGM in this game actually tell the story of the game itself, especially the stories of the main characters (Squad 31-A) and other squads. I myself was surprised by the meaning of the lyrics of "Before I Rise" and "Sad Creature", which turned out that these two songs themselves actually describe the experiences and feelings of Ruka and her friends, along with a cruel reality. (Well, in 2022, I saw the translation of Before I Rise which turned out to be made haphazardly, as a result I thought Before I Rise was a song that described the daily life of Ruka and her friends which was full of fun).
Yes, Maeda had mentioned that all the yanaginagi songs are written with the last scene in mind. Some of the lyrics make even more sense with later chapters. Sometimes the characters themselves quote or reference lyrics so the songs are just another storytelling device HBR uses.
@@rukayukkiNaruhodo, I really like the way Maeda plays with our emotions like this, not only through the story and characters, but also through the songs. Even though Maeda said this, in fact several songs that were not written for Yanagi Nagi also have a connection to the story, one example is "After You Sleep (-for the Blue ver-)".
God, what a fitting song for this particular chapter. Ruka's feelings, in this current moment, laid bare for those who would listen. Of course, what followed was one of the best scenes I've ever seen from this game. Maeda, please never miss.
Ruka s singer did truly something terrific with this version of the song. I really couldn't stop crying while listening to it. Maybe it is because the last goodbye between us /Monaka and Kura but still it was pretty hard to swallow at that moment. Especially after hearing the context of the song and the image that were running through the screen. Erika , Kura.
This is just how I feel personally but while I'd love a cover from Tomoriru herself, I'm against official versions like that when the song is perfect as it is and XAI and Tomoriru together make up Ruka. Besides, XAI's singing suits Ruka more and I think she deserves recognition for her talents instead of being pitted against Ruka's seiyuu, even if it's done unintentionally.
@@rukayukki XAI is a superior singer in every way and brings a voice to the game that nobody else can replicate. There is a reason Maeda chose her specifically, because her singing embodies what he wanted to convey. Konomi was just added because the devs wanted him to also pick a popular mainstream singer. That really shows that Maeda picked XAI for her talent alone.

The scene with Ruka and Yukki in 4.1 was one of my favourite scenes in the VN so far, it's fantastic.

Erika , Kura.
Next "Bath Time Theme", "Shuwa Shuwa, Shawa Shawa".
Ruka: Ahh, the BGM I always hear every time I bathing.
Thank you for the translation! I still cried a bit every time I heard this version.
Thank you for your translation
They should make tomori kusunoki versions

Hi, sorry if I'm asking too much. Can you do Zeitaku na Kanjou please?
Yeah, I'm working on it along with the other Ch4 songs.
Will you do Ginga Ryodan next, please?
Particle Effect will be posted next but after that yes
