My favourite moment of HBR so far. Before I Rise Acoustic made me cry

the EN version is very bad compared to JP and other versions, free gacha pulls/banner are lesser than usual, updates are fast tracked by x10 speed or something, its like they are RUSHING to EOS, they are spending a ton on the fast updates, meanwhile the players are NOT SPENDING AS MUCH cause every banner just lasts for a short time that you SHOULD NOT pull, as your characters will be powercreeped INSTANTLY, this is even WORSE THAN HOYO..

This is like the most Yuki coded song in existence. Also maybe hot take but "sleeping in a seing cottage, if only everything was a dream" is lowkey her wishing for that cottage core life.

The scene with Ruka and Yukki in 4.1 was one of my favourite scenes in the VN so far, it's fantastic.

Ruka s singer did truly something terrific with this version of the song. I really couldn't stop crying while listening to it. Maybe it is because the last goodbye between us /Monaka and Kura but still it was pretty hard to swallow at that moment. Especially after hearing the context of the song and the image that were running through the screen. Erika , Kura.

I thought this song was the main theme which was pretty good already, but after chapter 4 day 1, the lyrics and its meaning hits so damn hard, amplified by what Ruka was going through. I cannot emphasize enough how the song was made to evolve along with the story, its truly a masterpiece...

Love how the lyrics are just unique throughout the whole song and yet it is still very catchy and maintains the same beat. Like each section ended so similarly. First one onegaishitanda (I think, I just use my ear to listen to the words), then second part nee ouji sama, lastly doula kami sama. Nagi Yanagi never disappoints to deliver.

This fight and song made me feel like I was in the battle with Class 31-A fighting against the Death Slug the atmosphere, the waves of enemies leading up to it really a perfect introduction to the world of Heaven Burns red at fullest

Some (if not all) of the songs/BGM in this game actually tell the story of the game itself, especially the stories of the main characters (Squad 31-A) and other squads. I myself was surprised by the meaning of the lyrics of "Before I Rise" and "Sad Creature", which turned out that these two songs themselves actually describe the experiences and feelings of Ruka and her friends, along with a cruel reality. (Well, in 2022, I saw the translation of Before I Rise which turned out to be made haphazardly, as a result I thought Before I Rise was a song that described the daily life of Ruka and her friends which was full of fun).

Man just finished this 2 days ago. I havent been that desperate in getting that overdrive in my time so far in the game. Preparing myself for chapter 3 soon. Maybe might do the events first to calm myself down though. That ending and that requiem of blue story was wild.

Today at midnight after a couple of trial I did complete chapter 3 and despite being the night of Christmas I did not felt happy at all. Today as well after completing Kura s memories event is even worse. I don't feel happy at all. Merry Christmas everyone. Jun Maeda you are a fucking Masterpiece.

The best bossmusic has that adrenaline-pumping quality where just hearing a few seconds of it makes you want to run through a wall, and this is the HBR music which best fits that feeling imo.
