They were also used to look after children and sleep with people at night time to keep them warm. Despite being a hunting and herding breed they are very affectionate with other animals and find it easy to live with many other pets when introduced properly. ours have lived with cats, rabbits, lizards (used to ride around on one of sammy's back) lol and more they are a very social breed and what to be loved and love others often seeking out cuddles with you

I had an Samoyed mix. She was a sweet heart. She look like an Samoyed like her mother but she was mostly black with tan on her lags and muzzle. As she got older, her face became white and her lags became white too.
