Though I love all animals, I've always considered myself a dog person but it all changed when we had our first cat. I now love both dogs & cats as pets; they both show their love differently and I really like the difference. They even prove they're better companions than some people I know.
I work at this daycare! Archie is a sweet and polite boy and yes, he does stare at the cats in the cat room every time he comes in. Sometimes we literally have to drag him away from the window because he would rather watch the kitties than play with other dogs 😆

My samoyed Luna is also fascinated with cats, so are most samoyeds from what I understood. She has practically domesticated all feral cats in the neighborhood and is now accepted as one of their own, she gets ignored like all cats ignore each other :)
Archie is such a well behaved boy!! So gentle and respectful of boundaries. Very smart choice to get him a friend after noticing his ability to handle it :)

We aren’t going to all look the same or be from the same backgrounds but it doesn’t even matter how different we are. It just matters how we can all get along. We are all different personalities so we’re not going to all be best friends but we can still get along and respect each other.
Samoyeds were bread for many things one of them was looking after children and living in the home as night time to keep people warm. This is what makes them amazing with other pets and children. My dad has three and one cat at the moment all get along very well ^_^

Cat's are man's best friend. A dog may bite or attack unknown person but a cat will never do that. Cats don't bother anyone and are very affectionate to everyone.
Samoyeds are wonderful dogs. I don't see nearly as many of them as I did years ago, but they are so beautiful, and sweet. Archie is so endearing, the way he loves his kitty, him starring at his kitty on the bed was heart wrenching for me, knowing how he just wanted the kitty to love him back. The photo of the two of them is gorgeous. Both beautiful animals and Archie and B will be friends for their entire lives. Loved this video!
One of my favorite dogs I've ever come in contact with was a Samoyed, and the exchange was only a few seconds! I was sitting on the ground at a park, in a bad headspace, and he ran up from behind to cuddle me. I didn't see him til he was already next to me. I really needed that animal's loving energy. But it's owner immediately called it away, and said, "I don't want to teach it to run up to homeless people." 😥
I thought my Husky intently starring at cats meant he longed for their love..... until my child found him eating a stray adolescent kitten in our yard💀 ....well guess I'll have to wait another 12 years for the cats I've always wanted😭😭😭
I have Samoyed and 3 cats . He is so gentle with them! He loves playing all cat games with them, he also chases laser light and toys with them. I get them around in the evening for some treats and he sits with them and patiently waits his turn. Never bullies them even though he’s 10 times bigger
I absolutely love seeing this! I had a lab/Samoyed who wanted a cat for several years. She would be so sad when we'd be on a walk, and she'd want to say hi to a cat only for it to run away. I ended up fostering 3 kittens, and she was in heaven. I kept one of them for her, and it was amazing to watch them together! Such love much like with yours! ❤

Aww, Archie is such an adorable pup. He really has a soft spot for kittens. I think it's great how he was able to give her some space to get used to him even though he was obviously super excited to have her in the home with him. What a great friend.
I loved seeing this! Many years ago my family had a samoyed and a huge tiger striped tomcat. They would sit and watch tv together, cuddle and sleep together, play together. They even hunted mice together.
My Samoyed was obsessed with cats her whole life. Her favorite activity used to be running to those stray cats and staring at them. She was not welcome by them at all. She crossed the rainbow bridge last week at 15.5 years old. We had to put her down since she was in so much pain. The cat adopted by the vet was there and he hugged and kissed my dog. For the first time in her life, a cat treated her nicely. That was a dream come true moment for her.
This was my dog. He ADORED cats and became obsessed with a neighbors’ cats. He would let me know he wanted out and would then direct me to the neighbor’s house. If the cats weren’t out it wasn’t easy to get him to leave. We wound up adopting 2 cats so he could have his own, but he was very aloof with them - it’s as if he didn’t choose them so they weren’t HIS. One of the cats loved him and they would have cuddles, but it was always the kitty’s idea. We adopted a third cat the year before my dog passed from old age, and now we have 5 cats. All because of a dog! 😂

It’s funny how this breed of dog just loves cats he’s not the first one who I have seen wanting a cat as a friend, there are a few TH-camrs who have this breed of dog and who also have cats to be their companions as well. What I love is how well behaved they are just waiting until they have the go ahead I have seen this time and time again with this breed of dog, someone here in my village has the same dog and he will sit down waiting for you to give the signal to have cuddles from you he never jumps up at you at all he’s so gentle with everyone if I was to have a dog this would be the one I pick 😊
Collies are the same. Love cats, will take care of them, even herd them on your command! I have had both breeds of dogs and they are great but very energetic animals. They are happiest when they have some kind of work.
I've noticed that there are some dogs that are very much "cat people", as well as dogs that adore puppies and dogs that go crazy over babies and children and dogs that just love all things small and vulnerable and helpless

It’s been years ago, but I had two cats when I got my Sammy puppy. He so desperately wanted to play with them. They wanted NO part of him. One of them did eventually come around and would play at times. I miss him a lot, even though I have a wonderful rescue Lab mix now.
I love that dog, which maybe sounds odd coming from a cat person like me, but I think he's a cat person too, that's all it is. :-) What an adorable combination they make! She's beautiful too.
I'm an animal person despite having four cats and cats being my favorite. I want a dog someday that will fit in with our cats my family and I have. My oldest cat loves dogs that respect her and she used to lay next to our tortoise we had and used to ay with our bunny and would cuddle with our Sudan plated lizard. She's always liked other animals except most other cats.
I got my cat Mr. Stripey, his own kitten last fall. They love each other. He grooms her, they wrestle and play. He’s never been happier. Looks at me with love in his eyes like he’s so grateful.
My very first dog was a rottweiler I named Satin as a child, because he had soft, floppy satiny ears. He adored cats. When we moved to a farm, he'd pick out a barn kitten and treat it as his own puppy. About the only thing that would happen was the kitty looking a bit slobbery from all the cleaning. Lol.

It’s the same with Old English Sheepdogs! At one time they were everywhere. A “Dulux dog” we used to call them! Now you hardly see any at all.

My Samoyed Taika ( means magic ) died last year. I still miss her weekly, sometimes cry. She also loved cats and bunnies. Sweetest dog I ever owned.

My dog grew up around my cat Louie and thought he was a big cat. When Louie died, had to get another cat, Lucy and my dog was thrilled! 🐶🐱❤️🐾

I love that dog, which maybe sounds odd coming from a cat person like me, but I think he's a cat person too, that's all it is. :-) What an adorable combination they make! She's beautiful too.
I'm an animal person despite having four cats and cats being my favorite. I want a dog someday that will fit in with our cats my family and I have. My oldest cat loves dogs that respect her and she used to lay next to our tortoise we had and used to ay with our bunny and would cuddle with our Sudan plated lizard. She's always liked other animals except most other cats.
It's so sweet and incredible how different every dog's personality is. There are little people inside of all of them. Good people.

I got my cat Mr. Stripey, his own kitten last fall. They love each other. He grooms her, they wrestle and play. He’s never been happier. Looks at me with love in his eyes like he’s so grateful.
Considering how cats think, I'd say Archie is B's pet.
My very first dog was a rottweiler I named Satin as a child, because he had soft, floppy satiny ears. He adored cats. When we moved to a farm, he'd pick out a barn kitten and treat it as his own puppy. About the only thing that would happen was the kitty looking a bit slobbery from all the cleaning. Lol.
