I used to live in kluang, and have been to the kota tinggi waterfall. So beautiful.

Stu, you're great at showing us places most of us will never see, so a big thanks.
Copyright music on Google; I don't know what software you're using to edit, but I've handled that issue by using the footage video-only and overdubbing some copyright free stuff and/or off-screen narration just to keep the mood going, that is provided you really want to use the footage.
    Enjoy your day off...
    Tony.

Thank you for your comment mate. I use iMovies on my Mac to edit. I find that if I know there’s music around, then I’ll just film it then find a quiet place and do a ‘I’ve just been to a place and it was amazing’ then just carry on talking with it as an overlay!

@olderbackpacker We all do what works for each of us and it looks like you're doing well with minimum kit. I used to do festivals and the like, where the combination of visual art, visually interesting walking performers and copyright music from the stages wouldn't have pleased TH-cam one bit.

As you approach Mersing there is a good chance you will see Elephant crap on the road, but it's unlikely you will see an elephant. Also further up Tigers have occasionally been spotted (usually they are sick though and therefore come out of the jungle). Also look out for wild Boars and if you are really lucky a Civet cat (I have only ever seen a dead one on the side of the road). And of course there are snakes, but in 16 years I have only seen 2 or 3, plus of course the beautiful monitor lizards. It's really hard exploring in the Malaysian heat, the older I get, the less time I can handle.

Kota Tinggi is where a Malaysian Royal Naval vessal was lost in the summer. A sad event as a diver was lost in the post accident investigation.

That is sad! I didn’t know about it.

Mersing is the gateway to the famous tioman island.

Jaja I do the same thing, I look at the map and if I like how it sounds I go for it. I remember my wife once told me what are we doing in Mombasa? And I slowly said Mombasa, how can you skip this town if you are in Kenya?

Even I would go to Mombasa, I like the sound of it 😀😀

I think they made a movie about the (sultan) (warrior) (preggers woman) called Battle Of The Bulge.
