So my High School recently did this play, and during one of the nights I went, the speaker busted and so it was screeching high-pitch noises at the part Alice started singing, and so they decided to finally cut the music completely, and so My friend sung the entirety of Waiting without ANY music, I'm so proud of her!

I was one of the Ancestors when we did this about two years ago. It was the second production I was a part of, and it always makes me super nostalgic and happy :D plus, the main cast was AMAZING and we all got to know each other so well!
My favorite Broadway musical! I was BLOWN away! I have to say, though, that I like the new Wednesday better than the older one. The voices were amazing. I just keep listening to this AMAZING music! Agg! :)

It's actually Claire De Lune, a pretty famous piece of which the name means "Moonlight." It gets used by a lot of different properties, though. So it might've been used in Evil Within too.

The first act was hilarious (the Sound of Music reference had me stomping my feet with laughter even though no one else in my class got it :-P) but the second act didn't really do it for me. It was basically a very, very long love song. except for "crazier than you." That was a love song too but at least it was upbeat.
My school was supposed to do this but its been postponed to prevent potential spread of COVID-19, they announced it to us the morning of our opening night but we still went out to eat at dennys anyways 😂
In our production, my friend group had a running joke that our small female friend (an ancestor) should have switched roles with the guy playing Pugsley. He just could not hit a couple of the high notes. (And he would have been a perfect 1920s flapper! haha) Maybe your director wanted to avoid that possibility - those notes are very tricky and whether you can hit them is a genetic lottery.
This doesn't have Grandma Addams' monologue which is just before Alice Beineke's in another version of Addams Family Musical. This I base on reading the script.
I was wondering about this. It's been a good five years since I was in a performance of this, so I didn't remember exactly, but I could've sworn that there was another Disclosure aside from Fester.

I had recently done this play and I was pugsley. It was very fun to crawl under the table. Many people laughed.
Honestly, I loved this show. I thought it was perfect. It was funny and the music was fantastic and the sets were amazing.

The first act was hilarious (the Sound of Music reference had me stomping my feet with laughter even though no one else in my class got it :-P) but the second act didn't really do it for me. It was basically a very, very long love song. except for "crazier than you." That was a love song too but at least it was upbeat.

I auditioned for pugsley and got ancestor. They gave pugsley to a small girl. I want to kms
In our production, my friend group had a running joke that our small female friend (an ancestor) should have switched roles with the guy playing Pugsley. He just could not hit a couple of the high notes. (And he would have been a perfect 1920s flapper! haha) Maybe your director wanted to avoid that possibility - those notes are very tricky and whether you can hit them is a genetic lottery.
i got pugsly, literally my theater director had to coax me to auditioning. she was giving me the role. otherwise it would have been a girl
