This was my schools musical in 2021 spring when COVID was still happening, and despite all the mishaps with social distancing it’s still the best musical I’ve ever been to, especially as the girl playing Wednesday sang the chorus an octave higher which was unreal to hear

If this musical is ever adapted into a movie, I can tell lots of people in the theater are gonna get teary eyed from this song. I wonder if this song will also play at the end of one of the movie's trailers, similar to "Stay With Me" for Disney's "Into The Woods". If this ever does become a movie, this song could show a montage of when Wednesday was a little girl, like at 6 or 8 years old. For example, that swing Gomez is sitting on in the picture is actually a callback to one of Charles Addams drawings in which Gomez pushes Wednesday on a swing, which is actually a witch's broom. So the montage could briefly show that, along with Wednesday playing with Fester by having him in an electric chair. Another memory can be Wednesday chopping her dolls' head off with the guillotine and Thing brushing her hair. The montage doesn't have to happen though. It was just a thought. Then again, it could interrupt the moment. Anyway, if it does become a movie, I wonder who will play Gomez. Because whoever sings it needs to do just as much of a good job Nathan Lane did. Because from what I have looked up, Nathan's performance seems to be the best version of this song. I actually saw Nathan in the play when my dad and I took a trip to New York back in 2010. If a movie is ever made, I hope it will be a great adaptation. This is such an underrated musical.
