GREAT IDEA and known in the trade as *CAVITY WAX* first created by *3M* ! Glad to see you guys getting that good looking truck protected. OVER the REAR wheel wells (inside) is an important area (has two TINY 'factory' drain holes) that plug up before they work. Those are nice extensions they gave with the wax! *GREAT VIDEO GUYS* !!!

Nice job, looks like it will work better than Fluid Film.

Always entertaining how you and your son get along with and are similarly patient and goofy with each other. When I was his age my dad and I could barely tolerate each other if we were within eyesight of one another. Thankfully that changed for the better later.
Seems the Woolwax is a better, longterm choice and more invasive inner frame choice where the popular Film coatings seem to or need to be repeated every year before the salts are dispersed.

Yeah I’m luck I really get along with both my sons pretty good I think . I’m pretty happy with the wool wax but time will tell. We should have a a better opinion of it after the winter. Thanks for watching!

Two schools of thought. 1 it should be done brand new to avoid a rust condition. 2 doing the application on a truck that is a few years old will seal the rust in and rust never sleeps. I’m not picking a side just wondering what other peeps thoughts are.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the truck when it was brand new but I agree with that %100 . I think this frame is good enough that it will make a big difference. However I have another pickup truck that have a lot of rust so I wouldn’t bother with it .

    Isn’t that an aluminum body?

Yea but they still recommend undercoating it.

Drop the spare tire and do that part, it gets rusty under there.
