I actually bought the Winwing stuck a few months ago myself. I used to have a Logitech X52 stick and while it served it's purpose for many years, once I started using the Winwing I can say it is night and day how much better the Winwing is. It is practically all made from metal and the quality is SO good. I just can't think of ever going back to anything of lower quality. Worth every penny.
I am a real LH FO and I used the Hotas Warthog with different springs and the nyogel mod. This is the closest way you can get. I can say it, because I fly the real Airbus for years. Your stick has no damping and for easy movements you can use the tca toy Stick. You are right that the normal warthog springs are too strong. But as long as you don't have damping in the stick you can not tell your community that this stick is close to a real stick. It is not. In my eyes you are better and more cheap in the tca if you just want easy and little movements around null zone. Anyways enjoy your new combo!

@@eaglethedigger look for those keywords in TH-cam and you will find links to both in the videos. The gel mod is very tricky to do with a lot of talent in mechanical ability. Do it only if u trust in ur hands!

The TM Warthog Hotas is for the right hand. How do you deal with this?
The TM warthog uses a single spring for centering forces on top of a plastic gymbol it is very much showing its age. It can't compete with sticks that use separate springs and cams for pitch and roll.
Agree, my Warthog stick always seemed to have sticktion around centre. Decided to build a FFB stick and yoke and it's a game changer, even for FBW aircraft, as everything is software configurable. All the best.
I can higly recommend the VKB Gladiator NXT stick. It is not only spring loaded but also dampened, which makes it much more realistic to do fine adjustments when flying the aircraft.
I think that the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick is also very nice. I'm using it myself, since the V2 block 1 on Fenix, the feeling is awesome 👍
Well, it isn't. It isn't precise, 100% plastic and doesn't even look like an Airbus sidestick
It’s more of a toy then a stick. If your looking for something more realistic Hotas warthog is much beteer

I got the WINWING A3xx Grip/Supra Libra. I will definitely consider the Orion 2 base.
I have the tca and have made many adjustments, in sttings and yes i do find i can control the Airbus just as well now. But what a nice looking Joystick it is.

How do you control functions usually controlled by the mouse when you have your left hand on the stick? (e.g. the CDU) That's why I usually use my left hand to control the stick to have my right hand on the mouse.
I’ve been using the same winwing stick with the a320 grip for the past year…..and i love it! It’s a game changer for all the reasons you mentioned and more. Welcome to the big leagues!
I really wish they sold an FO 320 grip. OR if they still sold a Warthog kit so I could use a 3rd party FO's 320 sidestick.

Hey thanks for your video! I am searching for a good sidestick for long and found your stick and the one that V1 Sim uses. I kinda like the Airbus edition of winwing because of its hat switch and I would wait for their new bundle to get in stock. However two concerns remain: First, what am I going to do with the tiller axis, second I have no possibility to mount this thing under my desk so it will be very high on the table right? What is your setup ? Do you mount it under the table ?
I just got mine, it is detected in game but shows no bindings and it doesn't control any aircraft. what did you do to make it work?

Hm..did the plane just scream stall at you in normal law ? Im not sure if i member right but that should happen only when you lose protections right ? Or maybe momentarily if the plane was caught in a powerful wind that pushed it outside of the envelope, or in unusual attitude recovery mode ?

It was a high speed stall, AFAIK normal law does its best to avoid it but can't completely prevent stalls

Winwing hat ein Lagerhaus in Europa, die Lieferung ging recht schnell. Ich glaube fünf Tage.
Gab es Probleme mit dem Zoll? Oder sind Zoll und Steuern komplett bezahlt wenn man im EU Store bestellt? Das hat mich immer abgehalten bei WinWing was zu bestellt. Danke dir

Nope
No, however the force you need to deflect the stick increases with increasing displacement of the stick.
It is not called a joystick it´s either a Sidestick or yoke.
