I love that "In the real world when you don't get what you want your trying to figure out how to nurture yourself every day". There is so much truth to that many times things are so brutal you are using half of your mental energy just to make yourself feel better. That phone call part also about trying not to fall into the abyss could not be more spot on. Half of the time so much off this battle in business is mental. That's why I watch GC this dude provides hope and shows me what is possible. I cant appreciate his efforts and who he is more its a real blessing for us out here in the trenches we are very lucky.

Wow man, you have no idea the impact this is making man. Going in and doing this in the position that most of us would be in, and showing the losses you had while doing it…those are just as important as the breakthroughs, because we have to see that even uncle G has a hard time in our shoes, but he found a way out! And so then can we!
I literally went through most of what Grant did in this episode during Covid at 24 years old on a smaller scale $675k home trying to find gap investors to close on a deal within 2 weeks with 3% in and it was the most stressful 2 weeks of my life. But good lessons learned from it.

One of the biggest msgs i'm noticing here is that it's all about building leverage from the other counterpart.
Something the other counterpart wants, needs, or best of all - can't live without. That's leverage.
Leverage is strength, and it doesn't mean having big money.
Without leverage, Lewis was fighting an uphill battle.
So he became a squirrel digging through a fruit to find a nut (leverage).
