@@jaimeparra3331 I made a stupid mistake in the last question on Paper 2 even though it was so easy. This paper is hopefully going to be my saving grace hehe
All I need is an 8 so I can do further Maths but I feel like I'm behind the game at the moment. Messed up the tan graph question on paper 2 as well as a ratio question. Its frustrating when I know exactly where I went wrong because it haunts me every time I wake up!
@Tom Exactly. These exams aren't going as well as I had planned. I lost a mark on the Physics paper because I accidentally deleted my answer to a 1 mark question right as they stopped the exam. I was really shaken by someone in our year who got disqualified from 5/9 of their GCSE's for cheating, so I didn't have the nerve to control + z. But I could have just asked one of the invigilators to let me get my answer back and hope they let me. Either way, nothing can be done now, I hope all these changes by giving people 10% of the marks for nothing and the equation sheet as well as it being an easy paper don't detract from my grade. Physics was always my strongest subject but now I'm nervous over that one mark. Maybe I'm getting frustrated over nothing, I won't know until the 25th of August.
i just finished this video, it took me around 4 hours this time but i got through it, i'm so grateful for this video as it helped me a lot especially with probability as i was always struggling in it, i did however get confused on the last bit of the video about dependent combined event with Algebra and 3D trig but other than that i got it all, thank you so much again, i really hope i can get a grade 6 in math or higher, i started revising really late but i managed to cover everything thanks to your help, so it wouldn't be an over exaggeration to say you're a life saver, Keep it up!

I've been using your videos to help with my revision for my GCSEs and it has been a massive help! Our teachers in school either keep leaving/changing or we just get a sub who doesn't teach us anything. I got my final math paper on Monday so wish everyone the best of luck!!
Thank you so much sir, you have been such a big help and your videos have made me feel so much more confident in my maths ability! In my mock I got a 3 and I was so upset, I was originally aiming for a 5 at the start of GCSEs because it was the most realistic grade and it seemed likely that I could move up 2 grades. However, I always wanted more than a 5 because I knew I had it in me but after revising lots for my maths exams and still not seeing any results, I started to doubt my ability. After binging your videos for the first and second papers, I’m now confident that I can secure a 6, maybe even a 7! I can’t explain how much you’ve helped and how grateful I am. You deserve a knighthood.
these videos are so help full , i like watching these exam videos and what i do when i come across a topic i don't under stand or struggle with is watch full video on your channel i then have a go at the question you give in this video. If i need any further clarification i ask my teacher. my maths teacher says that at the end of the year they want to not be able to wait for us to do are exams and leave because we have asked them that many questions and for so much help. I will hold them up to that lol.
10 days left for my paper 1 and here I'm doing this very useful revision now. I hope to get a grade 9. Will come back and reply here how It went in my results in aug. Wish me good luck. And Good luck to all going to answer paper 1 in a couple of days 🙏🤝 Maths is the most fun subject ever
At 18:33 it strikes me that it is not at all obvious that the question requires rounding (it certainly doesn't say it explicitly). In fact it almost seems that all that work with the error bounds is somewhat wasted if one simply rounds to the nearest 100. I should have thought that the aim would be to state the range of possible values for the answer. This would be much more accurate and make good use of the prior calculation of bounds. However, since the question isn't particularly clear about what we are supposed to do with the error bounds I guess this is open to interpretation. Thank you for the excellent resources!
For the last question it is probability, 4x/5x you can remove x from both sides, so at the end you get 10x=30 and x=3 rather than adding all those extra steps
Watching this directly after paper 2 which went good 😉 Edit: Bro has over 100,000 subscribers and likes and replies to comments got to love the commitment

Hello! I have a question, would the answer to making the subject formula at 27:27 also be x=-3z-y/3-z or should you try to make everything the majority positive? Thank you!
I had the same problem as you! However I believe they are the exact same, as if you did our answers = his, then simplified them both (expanding the brackets and all), you get -3zsquared + 9z -yz + 3y = -3zsquared + 9z -yz + 3y, which is the exact same thing! Although if my answer looks like a weird one in the exam I would probably try a different method to finding the answer, compare, and choose the best looking one if they both simplify to equalling each other. I hope this helped in some way? 😂

sorry but for 18:31 why do you not just add 83. and 86. together and divide by 2 to find the average, isn't that how you're meant to find the average, or am I just wildly lost in this sea of rules and numbers.

Once you have your upper and lower bounds you are looking for a way in which they both round to the same number, in the particular example the only way they both rounded the same was to the nearest hundred, it’s a strange example as they usually round the same to say 1 decimal place but this was an anomaly 😂
For the direct inverse proportion question answer I got 1/3 with my calculator the only reason being because I didn't change 1.1/6 into an improper fraction.Does this mean that question has two possible answers for 1:10:56
At 25:01 could someone correct my answer i expanded first then collect like terms which was 3 (2×+5)+5 (×-2)=6×+15+5×-10 And my final answer is 11×+5 Anway sir thx for this video

24:16 Sir 3 x 5 does not equal 5
For the direct inverse proportion question answer I got 1/3 with my calculator the only reason being because I didn't change 1.1/6 into an improper fraction.Does this mean that question has two possible answers for 1:10:56
54:23 can i do 4% of 240 and do 240 - 9.6, which also gave me 230.4? or will i get less marks for that sort of working out?
24:58 isn't it 6x+15
That’s what I thought
Yes you’re right

3 (2×+5)+5 (×-2)=6×+15+5×-10
And my final answer is 11×+5
Anway sir thx for this video
you are correct, he made a mistake
1:17:55 sir here you're doing a non calculator question on a calc paper so would something like this actually come up?
For the last question it says the ratio says green to red is 4:1 but it's suppose to be greens to blue
Yep! My brain does funny things after writing questions for hours 🤣🙏🏼
I did 56:20 by calculator without power and I got 11,520 as the answer
what's the difference between set 1 and set 2 for these videos
like is there any difference on the difficulty or type of questions?
Hi, thank you this is really helpful! Will circle theorems proof be on the gcse ?
If circle theorems are mentions then there is no reason why not 🙏🏼
