@@blueturtle8 hi, I did actually get a grade 7 in maths mostly down to these videos. I would say make a checklist with all of the topics and note the ones that you really struggle with. Maths is very much down to practising questions, so as much as possible will definitely get you the grade you want! Go through past papers with his channel because he explains everything so well. It is literally a warzone and has been absolute havoc for over a year; making it a terrible learning environment. My dad and I literally have to teach me the whole of the Physics syllabus. for the angles in polygons question at 59:46 instead of doing 360 -60 and 300/2 to get 150 then 180-150 to get 30 and so on u could just use the 60 degrees from the triangle and divide it into 2 and get 30 degrees. then to find the amount of sides u can do 360/30 because 360/exterior angle gives u amount of sides (:

Hi sir, thanks for the video, it was really helpful 😊. One thing which caught my eye was during the algebraic fractions section of the tutorial. It stated 8x +64 + 3x+ 9 on the numerator. On the video, the answer stated was 11x+53 on the numerator. Shouldn’t it be 73 because 64+9?

It is currently 11:54pm. I have an exam tomorrow at 9am. I'm going to try my best to watch this entire video. its now 1:04 and im at 32:02. (yes i took a break) and I noticed a mistake. 64 plus 9 is definitely not 53. (and now i've seen your comment where you realised this, nevermind. but eh atleast I noticed. 45 minutes in and im on the verge of giving up. Update: did not finish the video. had about 50 mins left. I absolutely did not do well in that test. gonna start revising for my other exams now. albeit it was still helpful.
@@shaun-blake3915 From my personal experience, there were so many other things I could've done in order to be more prepared. DO questions on anything you don't know, it was my mistake that I did not. Seriously, practice anything that you learnt new or have forgotten. Best of luck.

You are right, this was a mistake, it is 73. Don't doubt yourself, even though he is a maths teacher, it is very clear that it is an addition question, and 63 + 9 is definitely 73

@@kxsish I'm not the original person you asked, but I thought I'd share what I know anyway! If you type in Corbett maths 5-a-day then there are 5 questions of difficulty of your choice to answer each day, they helped me a ton. Past papers are crucial, and I know that Corbett maths and GCSE maths tutor have papers that are gonna be like the ones this year, with all the advanced information (that's if you're taking maths this year) on them. I find that writing flashcards with formulas and rules on them help too. Good luck!

for the angles in polygons question at 59:46 instead of doing 360 -60 and 300/2 to get 150 then 180-150 to get 30 and so on u could just use the 60 degrees from the triangle and divide it into 2 and get 30 degrees. then to find the amount of sides u can do 360/30 because 360/exterior angle gives u amount of sides (:

Hi sir, thanks for the video, it was really helpful 😊. One thing which caught my eye was during the algebraic fractions section of the tutorial. It stated 8x +64 + 3x+ 9 on the numerator. On the video, the answer stated was 11x+53 on the numerator. Shouldn’t it be 73 because 64+9?

DO questions on anything you don't know, it was my mistake that I did not. Seriously, practice anything that you learnt new or have forgotten. Best of luck.

You are right, this was a mistake, it is 73. Don't doubt yourself, even though he is a maths teacher, it is very clear that it is an addition question, and 63 + 9 is definitely 73

The top and bottom don’t both has a common factor! You have divided the top by 10 and the bottom by 3 in your solution there 🙏🏼

@@kxsish I'm not the original person you asked, but I thought I'd share what I know anyway! If you type in Corbett maths 5-a-day then there are 5 questions of difficulty of your choice to answer each day, they helped me a ton. Past papers are crucial, and I know that Corbett maths and GCSE maths tutor have papers that are gonna be like the ones this year, with all the advanced information (that's if you're taking maths this year) on them. I find that writing flashcards with formulas and rules on them help too. Good luck!
